Graduation Exam day and the caos that ensues with it.
Iruka had been anticipating this day for the last few weeks and was therefore a bit earlier than usual. He walked into his classroom and sat at his desk while waiting for his students to arrive. After about 20 minutes they started to enter the classroom; As usual Sasuke was the first one of his students to enter the classroom. What really made Iruka pause and do a double take were the two other students who entered with him. One on either side and talking animatedly were Naruto and Sakura. What surprised Iruka as he watched the three make their way to the middle row by the window and take their seats. Was the fact that not only was Sasuke interacting with two of his classmates but that the two students were Naruto (who Sasuke had always seemed to look down on while the other boy seemed to see the Uchiha as his self proclaimed rival) but also Sakura (Who was seemingly one of his two biggest fangirls that the boy only ever seemed to ignore). For a while Iruka just watched the three interact before seeing a site that almost made his eyes fall out of his skull. It seemed as though while Sasuke and Sakura were talking Naruto had gotten sleepy and thus leaned his head on Sasuke's shoulder seemingly intent to fall asleep. What surprised Iruka about this was that instead of Sasuke getting mad and pushing the blond off he instead adjusted his pose and let Naruto burrow into his neck and instead of Sakura getting mad and yelling at the blond like Iruka thought she would the girl only glanced at the two boys fondly before leaning over and giving Naruto a kiss on the cheek mirrored by the other boy before she went back to talking with Sasuke.
A while later Ino and Hinata walked in while talking pausing briefly to glance at the treo before to Iruka's surprise sharing a small smile and continuing the two rows behind them. Hinata sat in the row directly behind the three while Ino sat in the row behind her, Hinata turning around to talk to Ino. About 5 minutes after the girls entered Shino and Kiba walk in Kiba talking while Shino listened giving small input every now and then. Both go and sit in the row with Hinata giving quiet "Good Mornings" to the two girls before seeming to join in on whatever conversation the two were having before they got there. 10 or so minutes later about 5 minutes before the bell rings Shikamaru and Chouji walk in going straight to sit with Ino and saying Good Morning to the other four before Chouji pulls out his usual bag of chips and Shikamaru rests his head on the table seemingly content to fall asleep.
As all this happens Iruka is quietly having a mental breakdown over what to him looks suspiciously like a RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NARUTO, SASUKE AND SAKURA. As Iruka is contemplating his life choices for the first of many times today the rest of his students enter the classroom with the last person to enter being Snake Bitch, OHH Sorry I meant Mizuki who clears his throat brining Iruka back to reality.
Iruka looks around his classroom making sure all his students are present before saying "Quiet down kids" to which nothing happens other than a tick appearing on Iruka's face before he uses his big head jutsu and shouts "BE QUIET" which successfully shuts all the kids up as well as waking Shikamaru since Sasuke had woken Naruto the first time Iruka said it. Once he was back to normal Iruka started the graduation exam saying "Alright class the first part of the exam is the written test which Mizuki and myself will now hand out" before he gets up and together him and Mikuki hand out all the papers. Mizuki gives the last paper to Naruto before heading back to the front to stand by Iruka as the instructor says "Now that everyone has a paper you may all begin" watching as all the students start writing.
Naruto glances down at his paper looking back up to glare briefly at Mizuki before releasing the Genjutsu placed over his paper noting how his two mates also glare at the Snake Bitch. Naruto completes his test making sure to get a good enough score to pass but still be the so called "Dead Last" before putting his head down on the table until Iruka says "Times up" and comes to collect all the papers before heading back to the front of the room. Once he puts the tests away Iruka turns back to the class saying "Alright the second part of the exam is weapon throwing so lets head outside" and watching as students start shuffling out the door following Mizuki. He pauses to watch as Sasuke has Naruto climb onto his back wrapping his legs around the others waist and putting his arms around his neck, Sasuke hooking his arms behind Naruto's knees and walking out the door with Sakura by his side.
Once everyone is outside Iruka explains "To pass this test you need to hit at least three bullseyes with shuriken and at least six with kunai. All the other civilian kids go before its Sakura's turn, Mizuki giveing each ten shuriken and ten Kunai when it's their turn while Iruka writes down their results. Once its Sakura's turn she receives her weapons from Mizuki before throwing them and getting 7 shuriken and 9 kunai. After Sakura's turn the clan heirs took their turns the results being:
Ino: 7 Shuriken and 7 Kunai
Shikamaru: 6 Shuriken and 7 Kunai
Chouji: 7 Shuriken and 6 Kunai
Hinata: 7 Shuriken and 8 Kunai
Shino: 6 Shuriken and 8 Kunai
Kiba: 6 Shuriken and 6 Kunai
Sasuke: 9 Shuriken and 10 Kunai
After Sasuke goes the only person left is Naruto who walks up and is handed his weapons by Mizuki noting how his are incredibly dull when the rest had been much sharper and glaring at Mizuki. To make sure they actually penetrate the target Naruto channels a small amount of wind chakra into the metal before he throws them all at once . Iruka stares with wide eyes at the targets before letting a small smile show on his face and writing down Naruto's results.
Naruto: 8 Shuriken and 9 Kunai
Once everyone was back in the classroom Iruka said "Ok now the last part of the exam requires you to perform the three academy jutsu so Mizuki and myself will be in another classroom and when it's your turn I will come and call you.This part went the same as the first time except for everytime one of the rookie nine would get called the rest of them would wish them good luck even though they all knew they didn't need it. The last two in the classroom were Naruto and Sasuke so when Iruka called Sasuke before he left he leaned down and gave Naruto a soft kiss. A while later Iruka called Naruto so he made his way to the room where a table was set up on which a pile of headbands were sitting and Iruka and Mizuki were sitting side by side looking at him. Once Naruto was present Iruka said "Alright Naruto please perform the Substitution Jutsu with that log over there" and watching as he did so almost perfectly so he continued on "Ok now a henge please" watching as he henges into the third Hokage so Iruka prepares to give the last set of instructions wondering nervously if he'll be able to do it "Ok finally please make a clone" and watching as Naruto simply shakes his head before saying "Iruka sensei I'm an Uzumaki meaning my chakra reserves are too big that the tiny amount of chakra needed to make a normal clone is too hard for me to control" once he says that everything clicked into place for Iruka ;If Naruto has large reserves it would be almost impossible for him to make a normal clone. But before Iruka could start overthinking things Naruto says "Since I can't do a normal clone can I perform a different clone Jutsu" to which Iruka replied with "Sure Naruto but remember you have to make at least one clone" to which the boy only nodded in understanding before going through a familiar set of hand signs and creating two perfect Shadow clones. Iruka could only stare wide eyed at the supposed dead last before smiling and saying "Good job Naruto you pass pick any one of the headbands you want" and watching as the blond smiled a face splitting grin and walked over to the table looking through the headbands before settling on one that Iruka had seen two other students already pick the two being Sasuke and Sakura and the headband was a piece of fabric that was an ombre of blue, yellow and pink. Once he had chosen his headband Naruto glanced at Mizuki taking note of his barely suppressed anger and hatred pointed at him before leaving.
Naruto makes his way through the front of the academy ignoring all the whispers that follow him till he reaches Sasuke and Sakura at the other side of the yard. He looks at each of them before Sasuke turns and starts heading in the direction of the Uchiha district the other two silently following after him till they get to the marketplace. Whenever someone glares or says something hateful to Naruto the Uchiha glares at them making them shut up and look away, this continues till the three are safely inside the district immediately making their way to the clan heads house. once their all inside the three walk around grabbing pillows and blankets before spreading them out on the floor. Once their makeshift bed is made the three lay down and curl up together. After a while Naruto says" Mizuki is going to steal the forbidden scroll tonight and since I beat him last time I was thinking of going to the same spot he told me to wait at last time and beat him again" to which the other two only glance at each other before simultaneously saying "Fine but were coming with you" to which the blond just blinked before letting out a giggle and kissing each of his mates.
That evening the forbidden scroll is stolen from the Hokage's tower, Naruto is waiting in the clearing that Mizuki had him meet him at the first time with Sasuke and Sakura hiding. When Mizuki showed up his surprise was apparent so Naruto quickly stole the scroll from him all while grinning. Just before Mizuki could start ranting off on the blond a barrage of Kunai imbed themselves in the ground where he was once standing as he turned around to see an angry Iruka. Ok so the fight between Iruka and Mizuki goes the same up until the point where Mizuki manages to hurt him and that's when Naruto jumps in kicking Mizuki back a few feet and standing protectively in front on Iruka. Mizuki takes one look at the blond before saying "Haven't you always wondered why the villagers HATE YOU seemingly for no reason-" Mizuki don't It's forbidden" comes Iruka's angry shout before the Snake Bitch keeps going with" it's because all those years ago the Fourth Hokage sealed the Nine Tailed Demon Fox in you meaning YOU ARE THE DEMON FOX" Mizuki says the last part with a hate filled voice. Mizuki is so preoccupied with trying to brake the blond that he doesn't see the pair of shadow clones sneaking up on him till they grab him from behind and tie his hands together with ninja wire. Once Mizuki is secured Naruto starts laughing to both adults surprise before saying "Aww did you really think I didn't know that Snake Bitch" he says the last part with a voice filled with malice "I have known I was the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki for years for crying out loud I can talk to him in my head." At this both adults only stare wide eyed at the blond before a noise in the tree behind Mizuki makes both glance away from him only to see Sasuke and Sakura. "Ok Naru you had your fun now can me and Kura play with Snaky boi over here?" asked Sasuke with a dangerous glint in his eyes which is mirrored in Sakura's where she is looking at Mizuki. "Uh fine you can do what you want but don't make a mess do you hear me you annoying gremlins? Naruto says to which the two only nod before both attacking Mizuki. As if remembering where he is Naruto turns towards Iruka showing a gentle smile before his eyes widen as he sees Iruka pass out against the tree he was against.
