Summary

The time of war between the Uchiha and Senju is coming to an end. At least, that is what the hopes are as the two opposing groups come together to create not only a treaty of peace but a marriage arrangement between a clan heir from the Uchiha and one from the Senju. With Hashirama already married to Princess Mito of the Uzumaki and their younger brothers' dead, the weight of fulfilling the demanded marriage arrangement falls upon Tobirama’s already straining shoulders. The thing is, his very existence may be the reason why this arrangement falls apart.

The Return from Hiatus (Reworking and Crafting New)

Hi everyone,

I know many are probably expecting a chapter upon receiving the notification in your inbox and I have good news....and bad news.

Firstly, I want to apologize for my over year long absence. The last year has been incredibly difficult for me for various reasons. In October, I became very sick and life threw yet another curve ball; my cousin, who was more like a brother uncle I guess, was murdered. All while this was happening, I was working for a high school that was very toxic and bigoted with a principal who was misogynistic and verbally abusive both years I worked there AND was working on my masters' degree. In the end, for my own mental health and the sake of family, I chose to take a break on my masters degree and I moved back to my home town four hours away, leaving my best friend who I had been living with at the time behind. Due to everything going on, my will to write vanished into thin air alongside my confidence and even thinking of writing left me an anxious mess.

Thankfully, I managed to find a new job at a new school that treats me well and more! I have been blessed with amazing coworkers and I'm working with some great students who sometimes push my buttons but also make me smile daily if not hourly lol. My mental health has drastically improved and as I begin a new semester, the spark to write that I thought I lost forever has suddenly and graciously returned.

That said, drama aside, I'm here to inform you that I am returning to continue Hidden Within the Arrangement and I am working on possible different endings for my Demon Slayer fic, Lustful Blood. Currently, I am going back through the chapters already published and reworking them because simply, I kind of cringe when I read them over again! I am aiming to finish the true Chapter 13 sometime before the end of January but it may be February sometime due to my current workload and responsibilities. I will be working on remastering chapters slowly but surely. Again, I apologize for the year long hiatus and cheers to a new year full of new possibilities and new chapters!
