Enough [Rewrite]

It has been roughly around 2 years since Sakura was born and Kisame was not prepared to have a prodigy as a child. If someone had told him he would have had a child that was just as mischievous as he was a kid he would have laughed in their face. But now.

Right now Kisame was chasing Sakura, who managed to get her hands on his kunai, which is crazy because he remembered that he put it on the highest shelf in their house.

“ Sakura! My little shark! Please give that back!” Kisame said as Sakura managed to avoid his arms again.

Kisame heard a laugh coming from behind him and turned around to see who was laughing at him.

It turns out that Mei was the person laughing at him with Zabuza at her side.

Kisame glared at the two. “If you are here for Sakura then please stop her.”

Mei then pushed Zabuza forward and gestured to Sakura and Zabuza grunted but went over to Sakura and picked her up by the collar of her shirt and pried the kunai out of her hands.

Sakura whined before looking up to see who took ’her’ kunai. Sakura’s eyes then lit up and jumped up into Zabuza.

“Za-Kun! You’re back! How was the mission? Was it dangerous? Did you fight rouges? Did you find someone to marry? Did you-“ 

Sakura was about to finish before Zabuza covered her mouth with his hand and let out a grunt.

“Yeah, I’m back brat. The mission was fine but classified and no I didn’t find someone to marry. I swear you have been hanging out with Mei too much.” Zabuza said, dragging his free hand down his face.

Mei shouted an offended ’hey’ but was ignored by everyone.

Kisame got up from the floor and walked over to his daughter and picked her up. Turning to his friends he raised an eyebrow.

“Well? Why are you guys here?” Mei and Zabuza looked at each other.

Mei spoke up and said, “The Mizukage is requesting us to escort him to Konoha for a peace treaty.”

Kisame just looked at them and blinked.

“I am still on leave though. Why would I be requested to go on a mission?”

“Well, you are one of our strongest shinobis and I believe that the Mizukage trusts us enough to keep him safe.”

Kisame looked down at Sakura and looked back up at them and sighed.

“Okay, but first let me talk to the Mizukage to see if Sakura can come along.”

Zabuza just snorted and turned to leave with Mei on his heels.

After they left Kisame left his house and made his way over to the tower to have a chat with the Mizukage.

Upon arriving he busted into the office and found the Mizukage reading a book.

Yagura looking up from his book just raised an eyebrow at Kisame before looking at Sakura in his arms.

“You need something Kisame?”

“Uh. I was just wondering if I could bring Sakura along for the mission since technically I am still on leave and don’t have anyone to look after her.”

Yagura just smirked at his declaration and gestured to him to put Sakura down.

Kisame looked at him wary but did as he said.

Sakura, who couldn’t see anything from the angle she was at but heard everything, turned to look at Yagura and walked up to him.

Kisame was about to tell Sakura to come back until he saw the look the Mizukage had. It was the look of seeing someone precious to you.

“Yagura-Sama! Can I please go on this mission! I want to see what happens!”

Yagura just chuckled and patted her head.

“You can go on this mission but you have to make sure you stay near Zabuza, Mei, Ao, your father or me anytime you leave the inn.”

Sakura just looked up at him and nodded her head excitedly and walked back over to her father.

“Well, we better get packing. We will see you later, Mizukage-Sama.”

“I will see you two in three hours. Ja ne.”
