Uchiha
She woke up to silence. Wait. She woke up? That's wrong.
How has she woken up?
She was dead. [There was so much blood]
It is only when she takes in the unfamiliar, and yet so very familiar, place she was currently sleeping[?] in did the panic begin to settle in her nerves. The calmness she experienced when she woke up disappeared as though it was never there to begin with.
She couldn't breathe. Her throat was tightening.
She sat up immediately and ran. She didn't realize how she knew where the bathroom was even when she shouldn't have known. She didn't took notice of the shadow outside her window watching her. She didn't notice her eyes turning red and spinning [andburningburningburning]. She didn't hear the loud and rushed footsteps of people entering in the house. She didn't hear a man come in the bathroom. She only felt the small pain of a needle and then falling unconscious.
When she woke up again, she found herself feeling a similar calmness. This time, she waited for 2 minutes [Or was it 5 minutes? She had never been good at keeping track of time.] and only got up after she found herself slightly accepting of the fact that she had been reincarnated in the Naruto world. She decided to not think about any of her memories, neither her past ones [Because she knew she will miss her life from before] nor the ones from this life [For there never was anything much to remember].
Someone, who knows after how long, came in and did not seem surprised to see her awake. She guessed that the person was an Uchiha, but she wasn't sure. The man[?] had the typical Uchiha features.
"Your mother is waiting outside for you."
The words don't shock her. She just nodded and followed after the man. The man, she could tell, was shocked at her calm reaction but he was quick to cover it up and lead her to where her mother was sitting. He did not speak anything and left quietly.
She looked at the all too familiar figure of her mother. She had slightly puffy eyes, which gave her some pitying looks from the people passing by. Her face was scrunched in a frown and the strict yet elegant figure she had, seemed much smaller than she remembered. She didn't find it in herself to comfort her mother. So she simply held her hand and stared at her mother, hoping the worry for her daughter would slightly erase with finding her all well.
Her mother also seemed to have nothing to say and after a while, she got up and started to leave.
She followed after her [Because what else was she supposed to do?] and soon found herself in the same house she had spent all her [second] life.
It was quite nice, not as big as the one in her last life but she had been living in it for all of the 4 years of her second life so she didn't particularly dislike it. [Only 4 years old and her father is already dead.]
She looked at her mother's back and thought, not for the first time, that her mother didn't seem to care for her. But then, she would notice the subtle signs of her mother looking out for her and think, her mother was just an emotionally constipated woman who didn't know how to show her emotions well. She then thought that almost all Uchiha [Or at least most of the ones that she had met] were emotionally constipated.
Some days passed and she found herself in a comfortable routine.
She would go to the Academy, where kids would get taught about how to kill and some generic things, she would return home and attend her mother's lessons on being a proper lady befitting the noble Uchiha clan, and then train because she had to. She would give time to herself, sometimes even sneaking out of the house to skip her mother's classes just so she could get herself out of her depressing mood.
She didn't think much of this world. It was similar to her own in some ways yet different as well.
She didn't think of her impending death. Perhaps it was her own mind trying to not think of it. Perhaps she was just as much a fool as she was in her last life to forget something so important.
When she saw Hatake Kakashi roaming the streets with a red haired woman was when she realized that people were really going to die. Perhaps it was from her never really seeing anyone die [Aside from old age] but, the fact that her death was almost predetermined had never felt real. She knew that she was currently living a life in a world which was supposed to be fiction but the fact had never really settled in her heart and mind.
It was when she felt the burning in her eyes did she realize her sharingan had activated. She turned it off as soon as she could and took in a deep breath.
She continued to watch the hot headed woman and the silver haired boy as they shopped and walked around the market place. The boy made eye contact with her after a while and she slightly flinched at getting caught before running away to where her mother was. If she had stuck her tongue out at him when she held her mother's hand, then nobody but him [and her] knew that.
From the way he just slightly rolled his eyes, she supposed that she had just been brushed off as a kid being weird.
After a few days of doing the same things, she got to meet one of the most important characters in Naruto who she supposed was also her future killer[?].
