New Kid
"Class, we have a new student. He's from Britain so please, don't antagonize him about his accent and those 'memes' about British people. You may introduce yourself." The teacher stepped to the side so the new student could introduce himself. The student lightly bowed and muttered a 'thank you' to his teacher.
The student looked at the class and swallowed before speaking. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha." The student stated. He looked at the teacher. "Anything else?" She asked. Sasuke shook his head. His teacher nodded. "Go ahead and sit by Naruto. The blonde with the whiskers on his face. Sasuke nodded and sat in the seat next to the window next to Naruto. "Yo!" The blonde piped up quietly. Sasuke intended to ignore him.
"Hey!" Naruto tried getting his attention again. Sasuke continued to ignore him. The Uchiha's piercing blue eyes remained focused on the teacher. Naruto sighed and pouted, facing the front. Naruto heard his best friends chuckle at Naruto's failed attempt to talk to the new boy. Sasuke seemed to pay very close attention to detail and got down EVERY note they had in class. Naruto was amazed at the new boy.
After school Naruto waltzed over to Sasuke to try and strike up a conversation again. "Hey, new kid!" Naruto said enthusiastically. Sasuke just glanced up at Naruto and then went back to looking at his phone. "Who ya waitin' for?" Naruto asked. Sasuke didn't answer and had earbuds in. Naruto looked at the piercings on the Brit's ear. Naruto then tapped Sasuke's shoulder.
The new boy sighed and took out an earbud, then looked at the blonde. "What do you want?" Sasuke asked with a british accent. Clearly annoyed that Naruto bothered him. Naruto smiled. "1, nice accent, 2, my name's Naruto! Nice to meetcha!" Naruto held out a hand for Sasuke to shake. The Brit didn't take it. Naruto dropped his hand. "Not too social, huh? That's ok. One of my buddies is like that."
Naruto explained. Both boys heard a car honk and looked over to see a car by the curb. Sasuke put his earbud back in and sat in the backseat of the car. Naruto waved to Sasuke. "See you tomorrow!" He tried calling to Sasuke. The car pulled away and another car pulled up beside Naruto. The driver rolled down the window, revealing Naruto's dad in the driver seat. "Hey Naruto. Who was that boy with you??" He asked.
Naruto put his backpack in the backseat next to his younger brother, Kurama, then sat in the passenger seat and buckled. "He's the new kid. Sasuke Uchiha is his name." Naruto said. Minato seemed to pipe up. "Oh, he's related to the Aftons! He's supposed to take over Afton Robotics and Fazbear Entertainment when he's older. Naruto looked at his dad. "Really!?" Minato nodded. "Yup!" Kurama giggled in the back seat. Minato smiled.
"Maybe you'll bump into him at the Pizzaplex when we go for Kurama's birthday. Then you can ask him all kinds of questions you have for him when you see him. Minato suggested as he pulled away from the curb. Naruto nodded. "Sounds like a good idea. Thanks dad." Minato nodded. "No problem."
Minato pulled into the driveway of their country house and opened his door. Minato walked over to Kurama's door and opened it for the 6 year old. Kurama hopped out of the car and ran inside, forgetting his backpack in the car. Naruto chuckled. "He's always so eager to see mom and tell her about his day after school." Naruto heard his dad laugh from the backseat. "That he is. Just like when you were his age." Minato responded. Naruto quirked an eyebrow at his father.
"Really??" Minato nodded and handed Naruto his backpack. "Really. Oh, by the way, Greg and his brother are over for dinner." Naruto smiled. "Nice!" Naruto went inside, seeing Greg on the couch with Gregory and Kurama already playing. Gregory was 10 while Greg was 14. Greg acknowledged Naruto with a head nod. Naruto returned the gesture. Gregory waved at Naruto and went right back to playing with Kurama.
Naruto sat next to Greg on the couch after plopping his shoes by the door. Naruto set his backpack by the couch. "My cousin moved in with us today." Greg said. "Really?" Naruto asked. Greg nodded. "He's about your age, his name is Sasuke." Naruto perked up and looked at Greg wide eyed. "You're joking." Greg shook his head. "No. He's in the bathroom right now." Greg said. Naruto sighed. "You good?" Greg asked. Naruto nodded. "He wouldn't talk to me in class. Barely said anything after school." Greg nodded. "He doesn't really like people. He's still not over the death of our cousin Michael."
Greg said. Naruto couldn't believe what he was hearing. Sasuke walked out into the living room and went outside. "He likes being outside a lot. He really likes nature." Naruto nodded. 'An anti-social outdoors-y guy. He is so weird...' Greg leaned back. "He's easier to talk to when he's in a place he's comfortable if you wanna try talking to him now." Naruto nodded. "Gotcha." Naruto headed outside and sat on the porch next to Sasuke.
"You liking the house?" Naruto asked. Sasuke didn't give a response. Naruto noticed Sasuke holding a picture in his hand. Naruto placed a hand on Sasuke's shoulder, earning a jolt from the Uchiha. "I'm not here to bother you. I just wanna be friends. That ok?" Naruto asked, trying to calm the Uchiha. Sasuke slowly nodded. Naruto sighed. "I'm Naruto." He said. Sasuke nodded. "...Sasuke." the Brit said. Naruto smiled. "I moved here from Ohio last year. So I'm still fairly new too." Naruto stated. Sasuke raised his eyebrows slightly. "Really?" The Brit asked. Naruto nodded.
"Yeah, really! Did you ever like any of the robots your uncle made?" Sasuke looked down and thought for a bit. "...Bonnie..." He said. Naruto raised his eyebrows. "Really? I figured you would have been more into Freddy, or Foxy. Or like most guys our age and been into the Chica at the mall. But Bonnie? Why him??" Naruto asked. Sasuke shrugged. "There was one at my house back in Britain... A small one, but... Something my brother gave me... I just felt more attached to the rabbit instead of the others."
"Bonnie felt like... A safe place for me... My dad came up with the design for Bonnie and gave it to my uncle to make. Instead of that gold color, he became a purple color with a red bow. He had an electric guitar instead of a banjo. And the spring lock suits were retired to protect workers." Sasuke explained. "Woah. You know EVERYTHING about Fazbear Entertainment, don't you???" Naruto asked enthusiastically, leaning over to Sasuke a little too close for the Uchiha's comfort.
Sasuke leaned back a bit. "Well, not really... I only know something's that were released to the public. There's not much that I know about the more inside details." Sasuke explained. "C'mooon, you GOTTA know a lot about it to be the next CEO and owner!!" Naruto was still too close for comfort and pushing for answers he couldn't get from Sasuke. "Umm..."
"Naruto, get out of his bubble!!!" Naruto's mom shouted through from the doorway. Both teens jumped and looked at her. Naruto quickly leaned away from Sasuke and hurried inside. "I'm sorry about him. He's just very energetic like me. I hope you can excuse him."
"Oh, it-it's fine, ms. Kushina.. Thank you.."
"You're welcome!" Kushina said with a smile. Then she walked back inside. A few minutes later Sasuke went inside as well. He walked over to the couch and sat next to Naruto. "Sorry about earlier.." Naruto said. Sasuke shrugged. "It's fine." Naruto nodded. "Hey, wanna spend the night????" Naruto smiled. "I got clothes you can borrow. You're smaller than me but my clothes should fit!" Naruto said. Sasuke looked at his aunt and uncle. Both nodded. Minato and Kushina nodded. Then Sasuke nodded and looked at Naruto. "Alright, I'll spend the night." Naruto cheered. "Yes, new friend!!!" Greg chuckled and Kurama giggled. Sasuke softly smiled. So he had a new friend...
