Chapter 4
Kakashi once again looked to three profile resting on Hokage’s desk, then Hokage and İruka-sesei’s face while trying to organize his thought. His teacher and father figure’s son; If he doesn't know the kid’s heritage he never guessed he is his teacher’s son. At first glance they had nothing in common except blonde hair and sharp cobalt eyes. His personality has some similarities with his teacher but some darker shade.
If he understood one thing from Iruka’s description of Naruto: Kid has some unusual fashion choices, his personality is borderline sadistic, his general demeanor is polite and formal if not including underlying sarcastic comments. Then his paper style. He doesn't know how kids gain or recreate Hidden in the Rain ANBU’s secret technique even though he can only produce small pieces of paper.
Then Uchiha Sasuke, last royal Uchiha of konohagakure. While he can see Sasuke’s had his I’m royal Uchiha attitude he finds the Uchiha kid’s smile eerily familiar with Naruto’s but it wasn’t a surprise when considering what Iruka said. Sasuke and Naruto established some short friendship. Also has a perfect score in every aspect and he already awakened his sharingan which is good.
And Final member Haruno Sakura. A civilian born girl with pink hair and decreased fangirl tendencies around Naruto. ‘Must be some history behind’ he thought. But in general, a Haruno girl has nearly perfect chakra control and is good academically if she is not lacking physically. If she shows interest in medical (iryo) jutsu she can turn into a good field medic.
He looked at Hokage and signed himself. From the look on old Hokage’s face he can already tell that his fate is sealed with these three weirdo. He can only hope that they at least work with each other and pass because he knew if he didn't pass this team he knew Hokage and council would nag him to no end.
He looked to the Iruka then old Hokage and signed to his existence. ”Like I have any other option” he mumbled, only receiving smiles from senile Hokage and Iruka. “It’s also for your good Kakashi.” the old Hokage said. Kakashi only took out his orange book and sunshined.
Iruka entered his class with a proud smile on his face. He gazed at his student, now Konoha’s shinobis. Ino and Sakura talking with a few other girls about Sasuke again while Kiba trying to start a conversation with his long-time crush Hinata while Aiko and Seiki (once time oc’s) snickering at his attempts. Shino sitting on the back himself. While Shikamaru is half asleep, Choji eats his chips and explains new flavors to half attending Shikamaru.
Naruto and Sasuke sitting near the window with more determination to look at their faces. He also realized their new additions Sasuke has now Tanto strapped his back while he can see two fans sticking out from Naruto’s sash. Even though he can't call himself professional when it comes to weapon’s but he confidently says that those new additions are one of their kind.
He smiled when Sasuke and Naruto greeted him with a silent nod, he nodded back and gave them pre warning. After seeing both his students close their ears he focused his chakra to his throat and used his special ‘big head’ jutsu with chakra enchanted voice “SİLENCE” he secreamd. All students shut their mouths and seated their seats hurriedly while some of them cursed silently while holding their ears.
He smiled to himself and started his final speech about the starting of shinobi career and congratulated them once again. He smiled proudly himself when he saw his student’s eyes burning determination and excitement. Then he started to announce “Team 1…”.
Naruto paid little attention to teams himself until “Team 7 will be Uzumaki Naruto...” he can see Sasuke also started to listen. He himself and Sasuke assumed both will be in the same team while ignoring the power distribution. “Sasuke Uchiha…” he can tell with a similar smile appearing on Sasuke’s face while few people complain about unfairness which is easily shutted down by Iruka-sensei.
“and final member Haruno Sakura” as soon as Iruka declared the team ‘Yeah’ yelled while making the winner's punch. Iruka signed continued with ‘team 8 and team 10’ full of clan kids choosed with their specialty and their famed ‘old team work and team work’. “All the team announced your Jonin teacher’s will come to take you” he added and left the class with one final good luck.
Kakashi standing with Hokage inside of his only female student’s room. To his surprise and relief, the room doesn’t completely look like a fangirl room. Only with a sakura tree poster and a few framed photos with her friends and a few plants. Medium size shelf filled with books textbooks to literature messy notebook and fat folders for different lesson aspects. He smiled in his new student’s room, he is glad that he doesn’t need to deal with complete fangirl.
He also saw a few medical books on the shelf and put his mind to opening the subject in front of her to see if she was really interested in the medical field. He signaled to Hokage he was done and they left.
Hokage led him to one of the new and modern buildings. When they entered the house Kakashi wasn’t surprised to see a clean, maybe more than normal, well organized home but what took his attention was that royal kimono standing, he knew cost more than fortune. Also a few pictures with Naruto, also wearing those kimonos, and women that he can’t recognise very well but his instinct flaring even only looking at her picture.
He wanted to ask about women but he shut himself for now. He also gazes the large shelf filled with jutsu scrolls, textbooks and training and material based based book’s mostly taijutsu, bukijutsu and body train even some medical and anatomy one’s but what he weirded out some set of book about seduction and many other smiler materiel. But he can only assume a gift from Naruto. He also noted that cardboards ‘moving’ he thought. Before leaving he also saw paper made lilies and splashed with ‘blood’ he focused his chakra to his nose and confirmed definitely blood but, whose but he needed to agree it suits Uchiha and Sasuke’s description.
Then they reached the general dormitory for academy students. When they entered the small house Kakashi pinched his nose from the smell of cleanser in the room. He also saw a few cardboard ends of the bed. ‘Are they moving to the same house?’ wondered himself and turned his attention to the room again.
Room plain with paper white wall and paper flower only decoration in the room except for a few framed photos. He looked in the middle of the same photo Sasuke has, the second one a small Naruto standing with the same woman in front of the orphanage, women younger than other pictures, with a new photo he understands why he felt he saw this woman before.
“Astute Chiyo” He commented. Hokage hummed “When she is the orphanage's matron he saw Naruto mistreated and took Naruto her care” old Hokage informed him. He hummed and turned his attention to the shelf and yes Naruto gave those books to Sasuke he also saw an old scroll with paper kanji ‘Probably Chiyo stole the prototype version of paper release’ he thought.
With his tour over his student’s room ended he finally started to walk to the academy with his orange book in his hand. He needed to accept that his team was an interesting bunch. He snickered at the image of Naruto teaching Sakura about seduction and many other intel collecting and assassination techniques and assuming Sasuke has knowledge about this thing he can’t wait to see Sakura’s reaction.
For an unknown reason he felt a heavy burden lifted from his shoulder and a small smile appeared on his face ‘maybe this won’t be that bad’ he thought.
