Chapter 1
Vi had no idea how it got to this point.
She saw her and from the first look she was bewitched by the woman. And how could she not be, the blue haired woman is so captivating with her gorgeous crystal blue eyes, her posture always straight and shoulders squared, quiet confidence oozing from her. No one can even imagine how attractive Vi finds her quiet confidence for, you could see from afar that the lady trusts and loves herself, that she's secure in herself. A gentle voice, british accent that is charming, not too posh, clear... Vi can listen it for hours. Scratch that, Vi can listen to it for the rest of her life. The british woman is also so clever, always telling you little facts about random stuff that there's no way she could have known unless she did some type of research on those topics, her brain was like a large library with a big diversity for book genres. And you would think that a woman like that would be a "know it all", and Vi loathes those type of people, but this isn't the case with this special lady. Whenever she adds additional information about something, she would never make you feel stupid for not knowing it, instead she'd serve it in a way where you'd feel interested and ask more questions without a fear of judgement for your lack of knowledge. She just radiates a kind and comfortable aura. And as if all those factors are not enough, the british woman also just has to be tall, with a dream body and even dreamier face. A whopping 185cm of perfection. Long and gorgeously sculpted legs, tiny waist that beautifully contrasts with her wider hips and fuller chest, slightly muscular arms. Wonderfully hourglass body for an absolutely lovely face. Her sharp, angular facial features, her bright blue eyes, her pale lips, her fair skin with lack of blemishes and any imperfections, her slight tooth gap. Everything about her is so magnetising.
At first it wasn't anything serious. A slight crush, Vi would say. She would stay up at night, scrolling through all of Caitlyn Kiramman's profiles. Facebook, instagram, twitter, even fucking linkedin. But she wouldn't stop only with Cait's profiles. She would also take a close look of the digital footsteps of her mother, Cassandra Kiramman, her father, Tobias Kiramman, her friends, Jayce Talis, Mel Medarda, Maddie Nolen. And anyone else that is tagged in any photos posted with Cait. But that's normal. Everyone does that with their crushes, it's not that big of a deal.
What isn't as normal is figuring out Caitlyn's schedule and being around the places where the british woman was supposed to be whenever she had any free time. What isn't as normal is asking her sister, Jinx, to hack into Cait's phone so that she can have 24/7 access to everything that Cait has on it. She never abuses that though, she just has it. Just in case. Caitlyn deserves some privacy. What isn't as normal is knowing where Cait lives and having a detailed designs of the inside of her house. What isn't as normal is already having a copy of all keys Cait has, her house key, the keys for her basement, for her workplace, for her parents house. What isn't as normal is having access to all those things while Vi still hasn't even had one conversation with Caitlyn.
Vi is aware of the fact that this behaviour isn't exactly what one would call "normal". But she also doesn't really care about that. She's different from most of, or maybe even all, other stalkers. Everything she does is out of pure intentions , she 'stalks' Caitlyn without any desire to hurt her. She just wants the best for the blue haired woman because she deserves the best. And at the end of the day, what even is "normal"?
There's something so alluring about her. Vi still can't put her finger on what exactly she enjoys about the british woman so much. Jinx says that it might be how stable Caitlyn is. And Vi thinks that Jinx might be right, but it's not the full reason, just a part of it. But that doesn't matter. Vi truly loves her and the reasons why don't matter. Caitlyn gives a reason to look forward to the next day, Caitlyn makes her happy and that's what matters.
"The perfect time is coming up" says Vi while looking down at a photo in her hand "The plan will be in action really soon" she continues, moving the hand that holds the picture up to a spot with a better lighting. The picture capturing Caitlyn looking at a milk product in her local supermarket sends a wave of excitement through Vi's body.
"I pity that poor lady" calls out Jinx teasingly from the back.
"You shouldn't." answers Vi confidently "I will be the best thing to ever happen in her life" she finishes.
She pins the picture to the wall in front of her. Takes a few steps behind and just takes in the beauty of the masterpiece in her sight. Pictures of Cait in her workplace, shopping in malls, hanging out with friends, in front of her house, pictures taken through the window of Cait inside the house, inside her parents house. Pictures of the details in her home, in her workplace. Details of her personal life, the date she is born, where she is born, details of her childhood, where she studied and oh so much more. And even though all the material where scattered around messily, something that annoys Jinx a little bit, that wall is what Vi would call "perfection".

The supermarket is absolutely huge. It has a lot of bio and organic type of products since Caitlyn preferres those. Vi doesn't know a lot about these things, they aren't interesting for her. This store is the biggest in the whole middle class neighbourhood. Surprisingly enough, Caitlyn lives in the area, in a cozy, two room apartment on the second floor of a building that was a 10 minutes car ride away. A huge difference from the three story house in one of the richest neighbourhoods she lived in throughout her childhood.
Vi is looking at the snacks section while she is waiting for the perfect moment to come. She knows that Caitlyn is somewhere around her, stuffing her shopping cart full of stuff. Every next Friday after work she has a big grocery store trip. And for small grocery trips she prefers the store in front of her building. Cait being a neat freak and a perfectionist, who always plans everything and sticks to a routine made things easier for Vi. Caitlyn was predictable with her routine and today is no different.
While Caitlyn is checking out at the register, Vi waits in the same line, for the same register. Between the two of them stand two different customers. Vi watches as Cait puts all the purchased products in two big bags, feeling mixed emotions of excitement and thrill. The british woman pays for her products and starts pushing the shopping cart with the two full bags inside towards the exit of the market. Vi watches her slowly get away while the two customers in front of her pay for the few stuff they have. Thankfully the payment process for Vi is also quick since the only thing she's taking is a small bag of churros and a pack of gum, the same brand and flavor that Cait bought. With quick steps she follows the path that the other lady took. As she exists the store, she sees the blue haired woman slowly and carefully making her way to her car. Vi stalks right behind her. She can feel and hear her heartbeat in her ears the closer she gets to the british woman. Her palms are getting sweaty and she can feel how her excitement is giving her goosebumps.
Vi is four steps behind Cait when a packet of puffed rice cakes fall from her shopping bag. Vi's mind goes blank for a second. That wasn't a part of the plan. The excitement quickly starts to change into nervousness. She can hear Caitlyn letting out a loud groan of annoyance and that's what snaps Vi out of getting in a state of panic.
"Here you go" says Vi, after she walks to Caitlyn and bends down to pick up the packet of puffed rice cakes.
"Oh, thank you so much! I was about to lose my calm" answers Cait with a smile and a slight adorable giggle. A sense of calmness washes through the other woman after she hears Caitlyn's voice. And that's the moment where Vi can feel herself getting confident in the plan again.
"You've got some big bags here" continues Vi as she places the packet of puffed rice cakes in Cait's bag.
"Yeah, today is the big grocery shopping day for me. The walk to the car with those bags is the part I dread the most" complains lightly Caitlyn, the smile still prominent on her face.
"Then let me make the walk back to the car a little bit easier for you" says Vi with a small, friendly smirk as she takes the bags out of Caits hands to carry them herself.
"Oh please, I wouldn't want to bother you" Caitlyn tries to decline out of politeness.
"Don't worry" Vi persists, already carrying both bags. They both start to slowly walk through the parking.
"Thank you, that's so kind of you" answers Cait, a kind look on her face. Vi smiles back in return, giddiness taking over her. They both start walking towards Caitlyn's car, the british woman being the one who leads them towards it.
"Judging from your lack of shopping bags, I guess it's not a grocery shopping day for you?" asks Cait. The other woman's attempt of small talk makes Vi even happier.
"No, it's not. The only thing I have is a pack of gum and a mini chips bag in the pocket of my jacket." replies Vi, making eye contact with Cait "My sister is the one who does the grocery shopping."
"Must be nice, one less chore to do" says the other woman "So, you have a sister?"
"Yes, my little sister" answers with a smile Vi "She can be a rascal sometimes but she's one of the best things to ever happen in my life" she continues fondly.
"That's adorable. I'm an only child so a part of me has always been a little bit envious of my friends who have siblings. I feel like I would have been an awesome sister" giggles Cait, as they both finally reach her car "Oh, my apologies! I didn't even realise that I still haven't introduced myself while you're here, helping me out. My name is Caitlyn, it's nice to meet you" says Caitlyn as she gives her hand out for a handshake. Vi puts the bags on the ground, right behind the trunk of the car and firmly shakes the others hand. Vi savours every moment their hands are in contact, trying to remember just how soft and delicate Cait's hand feels against her rougher palm.
"I'm Vi. And it has been a pleasure helping you out" says Vi with a smirk on her face. She throws a quick look towards the back tire of the car, seeing just how flat it has gotten since the time she burst it before getting into the supermarket. Everything is going just as planned "And I feel like I'm not going to help you only with the groceries today, judging by that flat tire you have" she adds in jokingly.
"What?" questions Caitlyn, her eyes widening. Before Vi can repeat what she said, the british woman goes around the redhead to take a better look at the tire and lets out a long groan after seeing it.
"You have a spare one Cait?" asks Vi cheekily. Oh, how long Vi waited to call out for Caitlyn by her name and she is finally able to do it. She is, for sure, celebrating the beginning of her dream happening once she gets back home.
"Yeah, I do" answers with a sigh Caitlyn "It's a good thing that I was supposed to change them soon I guess" she continues.
"For sure" says Vi with a laugh "Let's get on with changing it, we don't want your fancy cheeses melting away by staying longer in the sun, do we?" jokes Vi.
"And how would you know what cheeses I buy?" teases back Caitlyn. For a moment Vi's mind stops, a sliver of panic going through her. She definitely can't say that she knows about Caitlyn's preferences for cheeses by stalking her.
"I'm just judging by the fancy bottle of champagne you have on top of the shopping bag. Or are you telling me that you drink it without a little cheese board?" asks back Vi, making mock shocked face at the end of her question. She pats herself on the shoulder for the good save.
"You got me there" scoffs the british woman and the warmth in the way she says it is too strong to ignore.
They share a smile between each other as they start to change Caitlyn's tire. And oh, Vi can already say that she will love absolutely everything that happens in the future.

Vi opens the door of her apartment, still feeling giddy and excited from everything that has happened. She has been waiting for so long, done so much work, had so much patience and now she's at the beginning of everything falling into place. There's still a lot of work and stuff to do in the future, but everything feels better after knowing that she is, finally, being able to talk to the blue haired woman. Just the idea of talking to her about the most boring and mundane things is making her feel motivated and excited. Finally being able to talk to Caitlyn has given her so much more fuel than what she has ever imagined. She knew that finally talking to the other woman would make her even more enthusiastic, but she didn't know that it would be this much.
"Look who's here" says Jinx as she peeks from her room. Vi gives her a big smile, she's just so giddy that she can't contain it and Jinx can clearly see that. And she found that for really goofy "Seeing your dumb face, I don't even know if I want to know how today went" the younger laughs.
"Shut up" says Vi, while shaking her head with a smile "I'm going to wash my hands and when I get back I'm expecting you in the kitchen, ready to listen to my rant" she continues as she walks by Jinx and towards the bathroom. She hears a loud, annoyed groan from her sister and the steps of her walking to the other room.
"Soooo? How was your "being a savior of the damsel in distress" moment?" asks Jinx when the older steps into the kitchen. Even if Jinx was always joking and acting annoyed by her sisters plan, she always wanted to knew everything and all the new gossip. It was really entertaining for her. And Vi starts talking. Everything that happened flashing by her mind like a film tape.
"Thank you so much for you help" said Caitlyn as she takes a look at the new tire. She looks at Vi and gives her a warm smile "I just have to repay you in some way, you've been so generous towards me. How about a lunch together? I know this really good place near by" she finishes off, trying to act nonchalant and cool but the blush on her cheeks where a clear indicator of her nervousness.
"And then you rejected her" cackles Jinx. Vi huffs a laugh at that too.
"Yup" smiles Vi "It was soooo hard to do it, I was really contemplating just ditching that part of the plan and giving in. I could see that she was nervous and she was so cute" complains Vi, the picture of a nervous and blushing Cait stapled in the back of her eyelids. Even if the blue haired woman is usually really confident, she is not fully immune to shyness.
"I'm actually pleasantly surprised that you were able to reject her and go by planned" answers Jinx "It's good that you didn't break" she adds. Vi gives an agreeing 'mhm' to her younger sister "And then what happened?" asks Jinx.
"That does sound really tempting" says Vi with a smile "But sadly I have to reject it. I have work to do, but trust me when I say that if I could- I definitely would" acts out Vi, sounding really disappointed.
"And then guess what?" asks Vi excitedly.
"What?" asks Jinx, matching Vi's enthusiasm.
"Well then...Maybe we could exchange contact information? And meet up at time that is comfortable for both of us?" asks sheeplishly the blue haired woman.
"I didn't even have to ask her for her number" giggles Vi "She offered it up to me".
"Daaaaamn" exaggeratingly says Jinx "She's absolutely crazy for you, I bet my head on it" deadpans Jinx, the smile never leaving her face. At this point poking fun and feeding each others egos was some type of a love language for the two sisters.
"I know right?" says smugly Vi "Now all I have to do is wait for her to text me"
"Imagine if you accidentally messed up one of the digits of your number" adds Jinx. Immediately the smile on Vi's face disappears as something close to fear at the thought of that happening shows in her expression.
"Don't even joke about this" grimly answers the older. She has worked way too much and too hard on everything being perfect for something like that to mess up her plan. And she also reread her number at least five times before she gave back Caitlyn's phone.
A loud notification goes off from Vi's phone. Both sisters freeze and look at each other dumbfounded for a second, before Jinx jumps off the kitchen island she was sitting on and runs behind Vi, who is clumsily trying to take out her phone from her pocket. They both gape at Vi's screen when they read the notification from the unknown number. A simple 'Hey, it's Caitlyn' message is on the display.
"Don't open it yet, she will most probably add something" says Jinx quietly and Vi hums out in agreement.
It doesn't take long before a 'Let me know when you're available for lunch :)' text follows up. A loud squeak and screaming is heard as both girls start to celebrate Vi's first win.

Vi scans the brunch restaurant in front of her. It's not a big one, it has maybe around five tables outside and the same number on the inside. The decor of it is in warm browns and whites that are complimented by a lot of green in the large number of plants. The whole place gives a cute, homey and inviting energy, that Caitlyn seems to love, judging by how often she visits this place. When the british woman send her a link to the place where they are going to meet up Vi wasn't surprised at all to see the same place she watched multiple times from afar when Caitlyn was inside either working on her computer or having a brunch meet up with some of her friends.
After Caitlyn texted her about the meet up, they continued to chat about a lot of stuff. The two women spent several hours, looking at their phones and having conversations about anything and everything. Movies, series, places in town, music preferences. A part of Vi is suprised that the two of them started chatting this much from the start. Vi thought that it would most probably take some time before they both relax and feel completely comfortable around each other, that they'd have to go through a week or two of small talks and testing out each other on what can bond them. The redhead didn't expect to hit it off immediately with Caitlyn. And even if she has tried to predict how stuff would go between the two of them, every prediction that Vi has had for now did not happen in the exact way she has planned. And for now Vi doesn't have a problem with that. The fact that she and Caitlyn clicked faster than what she predicted is making her really happy. Caitlyn is even better than what Vi expected and imagined. She was truly made for her.
Vi makes her way inside and sits at the table that Caitlyn mostly sits on when she's at the place. Usually the other woman prefers to be outside when the weather was warm and sunny, but sadly today is one of the colder days and Vi knows that Caitlyn would greatly appreciate it if she doesn't have to eat in the cold weather where her fingers would freeze while she eats her food that will be getting cold even faster.
The redhead was twenty minutes early at the place, being too excited by the meetup and wanting for the time of the date to come by even faster she couldn't contain herself and walked out of her apartment way too early. She tried to take a longer route, to walk more but that didn't make the time go by quicker.
Five minutes later Vi is scrolling through her phone, when she hears the bells on the door go off. She looks up and she makes eye contact with Caitlyn, who's already looking at her with a shy smile on her face. The blue haired woman looks absolutely stunning, as always. She is wearing a black, skin tight turtleneck and black skinny jeans that beautifully showed off her figure. The black leather high heel boots perfectly matched her leather jacket and small black handbag. But the thing that really sold Vi out was the messy ponytail Caitlyn has. Vi thanks the Gods, in her mind, for creating her in the same timeline where Caitlyn lives and has this stunning hairstyle.
"Well, looks who's early" says the other woman when she gets close to Vi. The shy smile on her face slightly changing and becoming more of a smirk, sexy confidence making it's appearance "I hope that I haven't left you waiting for too long" adds in Caitlyn when she sits on the chair facing Vi. If Vi could answer truthfully she'd say that she has been waiting a really long time for this moment already.
"Actually you have. I have been waiting for a whoooole five minutes here, can you believe that?" says Vi and Caitlyn's smile widens when she catches the teasing note in what the redhead said to her.
"Oh no! How dare I put you through that, I'm hope that you will accept my sencerest apologies" the other woman played along.
"Well, I will consider whether to accept your apology or not after trying the food here. You hyped it a lot so if I leave disappointed you would have absolutely crushed me twice in one day. And on top of that, you would have done all this on our first date, can you believe that?" Vi continues to joke around, trying to keep the mood lighthearted and calm.
"So this is a date?" Caitlyn throws back with a flirty voice. One of her eyebrows is slightly raised and there's a self satisfied smirk on her face, the atmosphere being flirty and playful.
Vi has watched how the other woman interacts with the people she's interested in. She has seen Caitlyn picking up on gorgeous, beautiful women in bars multiple times, how she gets all playful and enticing, how she uses that same confident and oh, so sexy, smirk. How she takes the opportunity to gently caress the arms, faces, shoulders of the women she's bewitching and how it's just the perfect amount of touches, not too little to leave the other woman bored and not too much that they feel overwhelmed. Just enough to make you go crazy. Hell, Vi wasn't even the one being wooed in those situations and Caitlyn's seductiveness was attracting her through the whole bar. How at the start of their interactions Caitlyn and the woman she's flirting with, have a respectful distance between each other but two hours later they're both as close to each other as they can be before they make their way out and towards Caitlyn's apartment.
Vi has spend way too much time imagining what it would be like being the one at the receiving end of Caitlyn's persuasion, so much that she'd never dare to say how much it is out loud because she can realise just how insane it was. And that says a loooot when you take into consideration that she has absolutely no problem to talk to Jinx about her love and/or obsession towards the blue haired woman. If she's not ashamed of being a stalker but feels embarrassed at the amount of time she spends fantasising about Caitlyn flirting with her then that means that it's.... really bad. And again, Vi think to her that she is aware that she is a stalker and she is also aware of the fact that this is not what a lot of people would consider good and/or normal behaviour. Stalking is bad and wrong and if Vi was talking with another person who also stalks people there's a high chance that she would voice out her disapproval of their behaviour to them. There are some exceptions though and Vi is one of them. Because she would never dare to hurt Caitlyn, all of the things she does, all the things she has learned about the british woman are out of love and the need to protect her. She is a stalker but she's not a bad one with evil intentions.
"It can be" answers Vi confidently to Cait's question "If you don't have a problem with that, of course, whatever you are comfortable with" she adds in, not wanting to make Caitlyn feel uncomfortable, trying to let the other woman know that she can reject her if she wants.
"I would love for it to be one, if I have to be honest" says the blue haired woman with a smile.
"Great. It's a date then" replies Vi.

The day outside is starting to get darker, the sun hiding behind clouds and the sunset taking place. There's people going back home after finally finishing work, children using the public transport after the end of their school day. Soft and warm light shines through the window of a brunch place and giggles and laughs from two specific women goes around in the little restaurant.
"You definitely have to take me to the boxing gym one day" says Caitlyn "I would absolutely love to see the huge hole you left on the wall while trying to kill that fly" she adds with a laugh.
"I promise to give you a tour in every part of it" answers Vi and as she leans back on the chair "I will even show you the staffs room, one of my coworkers stores those really fancy teabags that I'm sure you would love" continues the woman as she winks at Caitlyn.
"You know, I've been having such a great time that I might ignore the fact that you don't listen or like Seraphines music, which is a really big red flag in my books by the way" responds Caitlyn.
"I promise, I will make sure to listen to her whole new album when I get back home and give you a thorough review of every song" teases the redhead.
"Oh, I'd love that" giggles Caitlyn "By the way, why would you think that I like tea?" questions Caitlyn with a smile.
Oh Vi fucked up so bad by bring up that goddamn tea.
What is she supposed to say? 'I have watched you through your window for around, let's say, a million times and I know that most nights before you go to sleep you like to make yourself tea and even a blind person would be able to remember those god awful electric orange tea packages that you use' is definitely not a good option.
"Well, don't all british people like tea?" Vi says unsurely, trying to pass it off as a joke. That was definitely not one of her greatest saves.
"I will let you know that your assumption is correct" Caitlyn rolls her eyes fondly at the other woman "I will wait for that boxing gym tea and will try to be patient about it, even if I'm already excited" she says, making Vi smile.
"Should I take the idea of you visiting my workplace as a sign that there will be more dates in the future?" asks Vi.
"Yeah. You should" answers Caitlyn confidently "I'd love to know more about you" she finishes.
'I'd love to know more about you' is something that Vi can understand deeply. Because even though the redhead already knows a lot about the blue haired woman, it's different when she learns stuff about Caitlyn from Caitlyn herself.
And Vi genuinely cannot wait to get even closer to Caitlyn.
