Results
Back at the hotel:
It had been a few days since Naruto and Sasuke found Kawaki and submitted his test results to see if he was their child or if was this just another one of their false hopes.
“Sasuke, the results are back, come here!” Naruto shouted for him from the kitchen.
“Alright”
Sasuke was working out in the gym at the hotel in Seattle. He just wanted to keep his mind on everything so far. He didn’t want to think of the possibility of Kawaki not being the child that he lost ages ago. He also wanted to just forget that this wasn’t his long-lost child right here. It hurts to keep having bad news over and over again.
“Sasuke!”
“I’m coming!”
Naruto was waiting at the kitchen island for his husband to come down. He was nervous and excited at the same time about the results on Kawaki. Deep down Naruto just knew he was his. He felt that he was his long-lost baby.
“Yeah, did you check them already,” Sasuke came behind him, hugged his waist, and kissed him on his forehead.
“No and you're very sweaty you know,” Naruto led back to return the kiss.
“I know but you love it,” he laughed.
“I wonder who is telling you those lies because they are dead ass lying to you baby. And I wouldn't want that for you,” Naruto smirked.
“Oh you love this, don't be lying. Anyways let’s read these results,” Sasuke reached down to grab the envelope of papers.
“Yeah, let’s see if he is ours, I do hope he is Sasuke. I don't think I will be able to take it if he isn’t,” Naruto breathed out a long-awaited breath.
“I’m sure whatever the result is Naruto I will support your decision on whatever you want to decide about the search on looking for him.”
“Ok, Now open it up!”
As the duo spoke they didn’t realize Kwaki stood around the corner listening to them talk. He hoped that he was their lost child. They have been treating him so well since he has been here. He didn’t want it to end.
“I hope I am theirs. I have grown to like them, which has led to letting my guard down. I don't want to be let down again.”
“What does Sasuke say?”
“It’s said he is our son Naruto,” Sasuke breathed a sigh of relief.
“Are you serious,” he raised his hands to his mouth.
“Yes Naruto, he is ours. I’m being serious, baby.”
Naruto had tears in his eyes. He could stop his search now he has found his baby.
“Ok, so we can go home now that we know,” he breathed.
“Yes baby, we can go home now. But we have to tell Kawaki that he’s our kid and he’s going home to five siblings. Two of them being ones he shared the womb with.”
“I know but let me just be happy right now and live in the moment a little. And besides, you know Kawaki is a hard sleeper so what’s there to rush? Also when we get home we are going shopping for me, you, and him to buy stuff for his room.”
“Ok “
“Just ok you not going to ask why I have to come or anything,” Naruto chuckled.
“What’s the point if you're going to force me anyway.”
“You know you love being around me anyway so I don’t know why you act like you don’t.”
“Yeah, anyway I’m going to get the jet ready for us to go back home tonight. Will you be okay with that?”
“That’s good, but we will need to discuss a plan on how we are going to tell the kids we found Kawaki.”
“Ok, well you tell Kawaki while I'm going to get the jet ready so we can go back home.”
“Alright, we’ll be ready when you come back.”
Sasuke kissed Naruto before walking out the door. Naruto moved to go to Kawai’s room, wanting to tell the boy the good news. He also wanted to call his parents and tell them the news as well, but first he had to worry about his child.
Naruto knocks at Kawaki’s door before he doesn't want to invade the boy's room. He was a teenager after all he he needed his privacy.
“Kawaki-” Before he could finish his sentence he was boom rushed with a hug by Kawaki.
“What’s the special occasion for you to be hugging me, mister,” Naruto giggled, resting his head on Kawaki’s even though the boy was almost taller than himself.
“You're my mom,” Kawaki numbered into Naruto’s chest.
“I know and I'm so relieved that you’re mine and back in my arms again,” Naruto released the deepest breath he had been holding for years to this moment.
“Nobody is ever going to take you away from me again you hear me. You are stuck with me forever, you are my baby, and from here on out you will not have to worry about having anything or anyone hurting you ok. Because me and your dad are going to protect you along with your uncles and grandparents.”
Kwaki nodded and the two just stood there together just holding each other.
