Chapter 2 – The Truth Comes Out
Raizen sighed, how he wished he too could fall unconscious. This night certainly had been troublesome enough, but he could not, he may have been known as reckless but not even he would leave a new born baby alone in a room with 3 unconscious adults, and so he quickly picked both A and Bee and dumped them on top of the chairs in front of his desk. While he made a rai bunshin (lightning clone) to go get more water, and some medicine for a headache, for him and for both his children when they woke up.
Both A and Bee groaned after finally waking up and looked to see their father cradling Naruto in his hands, which for a man of his stature was very possible as Naruto was just as big as his hand. A asked his father “pops you got anything for a headache?” and watched as his father tossed them both a pill and pointed at the jugs of water and glasses next to it on the table. He then said “Thank the Yondaime that he made sure that the sandaime thought Naruto dead, for if it were known to Konoha we were harbouring the child of the Yondaime Hokage, someone they all consider a hero, problems would rise up constantly.” He then growled “I would also have beat you up to a pulp and then adopted him.”
“Def-definitely.” Stuttered A both scared and relieved at the same time. While Raizen smirked at his ability to scare the hell out of his children. “A I want you to arrange for the things we need to do the blood adoption, it should be ready by after lunch tomorrow we shall do it then. Bee you spent time learning seals make sure the ink and such is of top-quality then, I want you to help create the seals for it, take Darui he can make the seal properly, I trust him with the knowledge of what happened tonight. Tell him all you have told me, from tomorrow his name will officially be Uzumaki-Namikaze-Yotsuki.” Said Raizen, back to his serious voice, both A and Bee unconsciously straightened up and followed his orders.

The next morning Raizen had finally remembered why babies were such a hassle especially to ninjas with more sensitive senses, and their recklessness that was not suitable for a baby. While he went to his office in the Raikage tower, A and Bee were buying sealing paper and ink of the highest quality. After which they call Darui explained the situation and asked him to help make the seal for the adoption process. Both he and Bee spent the entire morning making the seal, while he was watching over Naruto. The scrolls his father had left for him were already in the clan vault where they would be safe. After his brother told him the seal was done they went to go eat some lunch and then meet their father at the Raikage Tower where he was cursing his paperwork. He was sure the news of the adoption would make his father happy, he had always wanted a large family and was devasted when A’s mother had died, and had adopted Bee hoping to expand his family. As much as he grumbled about Konoha declaring war, he knew it was just an act because after the loss of the Yondaime, and the damages incurred by the kyuubi they would lose far too easily. He was excited about having another brother and he was sure both his father and Bee were as well.
A walked into his father’s office a smile on his face and said “It’s ready dad. Just eat your lunch and we can go do it.” Raizen looked up from his never-ending pile of paperwork, happy to have an excuse to finally leave and also that Naruto would be considered as part of their family officially and irrevocably now. “Let’s go then, anything to get away from this miserable paperwork. I swear I’m tempted to call a Kage summit and make an agreement that should anyone find the answer to beating paperwork they are required to share it with the other villages.” Grumbled Raizen with A walking behind him doing his best not to laugh.

As the 3 members of the Yotsuki clan along with Naruto walked into the empty room which had seals covering the floor, they laid Naruto onto a circle in the middle of the seal formation, they went to their spots on the seal which were towards he outside and sat there, while each taking out kunai and nicking their fingers to let a little blood out and then dropping the required 5 drops each onto the small circle with the kanji for blood on it and then put their fingers into the circle beside it and channelled their chakra into it, until the seal stopped absorbing the chakra. Which should have been no more than 10 seconds but for some reason took around 30 instead. Which meant that they needed more chakra for it to successfully mix into his rather large reserves.
The entire seal then finally lit up and the chakra and blood from the 3 of them mixed into one and then rolled up the seal and to a spot where it converged onto Naruto making a small insertion of the chakra infused blood directly into his bloodstream. And then after it had all been absorbed by Naruto the bright light from the seal slowly dimmed and then shut off, showing Naruto who was still peacefully sleeping, not a care in the world.

Soon 4 years had passed and Naruto could never stop talking about how he was going to be a ninja and do super cool ninja things like making fireballs and throwing around lightning. He had grown up happy with a family who cared for his deeply and the Yotsuki blood seemed to make itself and its effects visible as well since he looked more like a 7 year old than a 4 year old with a height no 4 year old should have and recklessness and durability no one but those of the Yotsuki clan showed. In this time he had grown to be 4’2 and with those whisker marks on his face, no woman could resist him or the urge to grab his cheeks. He was particularly excited today since he was finally going to start his ninja training today, but before he could his Oto-san Raizen and his 2 onii-sans had told him to come to the Raikage Tower to talk about something important, before they taught him how to unlock his chakra. So he headed towards there, running as fast as his tiny legs would carry him, completely oblivious of the nervousness and stress the 3 waiting for him in the tower had.

As he walked into the office he saw his Tou-san sitting in his chair, his table completely empty except for 2 scrolls which had 2 different crests on them, both he did not recognise. But the thing that worried him the most was the look on their faces both A and Bee were standing behind Raizen looking apprehensive and nervous, something that was mimicked by Raizen who sat in his chair looking at him. “Sit down Naruto, we have a lot to discuss.” He said, in a voice that was surprisingly soft for a man of his stature.
“Ok Tou-san but why are you all looking at me like that.” Naruto asked. “whatever it is, I didn’t do it” he quickly added hoping they were not there to punish him for pranking others again.
“No, no nothing of the sort, just sit down and open these scrolls, they will explain everything, but before that let us explain exactly what they are and what is going on.” Said Raizen
4 years ago, on the day you were born, the kyuubi attacked the leaf village, it caused mass destruction and resulted in the loss of a lot of lives, both ninja and civilian. A was in the area with another group of kumo shinobi doing a mission, he then stumbled across a large clearing with both the Yondaime and his wife Kushina, fallen front of a small crib with a new-born baby in it. When A approached to see just how injured they were, the Yondaime, or Minato called out to him and asked him to approach and told him to take the child who was on the crib, and adopt him. He said that this child had the kyuubi sealed within and he had used a suicide Kinjutsu to do so and was dying. He said the child was his and Kushina’s and gave A 3 scrolls, one to explain what happened which was read by us, and 2 more, containing letters from them to their child, Naruto.”
“W-wait so I’m not actually your son, and I’m not actually your brothers, AND I HAVE THE KYUUBI SEALED IN ME, BY MY OWN FATHER!! Why did he ask you to raise me, why was I not raised in Konoha?” He asked, yelling a bit, before he started crying, the emotional pain a bit too much for him to handle, the pain of knowing both his mother and father were dead and the people he had called father and brother for the past 4 years were not even related to him.
“You are absolutely my son and their brother.” Said Raizen firmly, rather expecting this outburst, “That does not however mean they are not your father. They gave birth to you, and dearly cared for you. We however have done the same and we are related, because we blood adopted you, you are biologically of the Namikaze clan, Uzumaki clan, Yotsuki clan, Senju clan through the Uzumaki, and Uchiha clan through the Namikaze. The Uzumaki broke away from the Senju clan nearly 8 centuries ago, and the Namikaze broke away from the Uchiha nearly 2 centuries ago, while the Namikaze and Uchiha had no contact afterwards, the Uzumaki and Senju acted as though they were sister clans, both living away from each other, but they were close allies.”
And there Naruto’s mind was blown, he had never considered being related to that many important clans, and he fainted, the emotional roller coaster being a bit too much for him.
When he finally woke up, he looked much more subdued than what they had ever seen before and he looked exhausted but nonetheless asked Raizen to pass him the scrolls, after looking at them he decided to read the Namikaze one first, he wanted to know why his father sealed the kyuubi within him and not someone else.
Dear Naruto, if you are reading this there are a few possibilities, one thing that is confirmed though is that I am dead, I hope your mother is fine and raising you properly, however we are in the ninja world and if she too has passed on then there is your godfather Jiraiya, who is the spymaster of Konoha, but I doubt he has raised you, he was never the type to settle down and raise a child, he is probably travelling the elemental nations acting as Konoha’s spymaster and left raising you to Hiruzen, but the issue is that I do not trust Hiruzen to raise you, he may have been a formidable shinobi in his time, but from what I have seen he is an old man who is tired of conflict. He is now too weak-willed and I fear what will happen should he be the one in-charge of you, he is most likely being pushed around by the council and has likely lost too much power for him to do anything either. This is part of the reason I am so glad A was in the area by some miracle, he is someone I trust, we may have been on opposing sides of the battlefield, but I have always respected his strength and his honour, if he is to raise you in Kumo I will be happy, you will be strong and remember, strength comes from fighting for those you care for. I will always be proud of you and remember to always fight for the right reasons. You may be wondering why exactly I sealed the kyuubi into you, it’s because you are my son, I know you are capable of holding the beast at bay, but another thing is that you are Uzumaki, there are a total of 9 bijuu who roam this world recognised by the number of tails they possess numbering from the 1-9 tails, they are immortal beings of pure chakra, and as such even if they are killed they will simply reform given time, and come back to get revenge, to prevent such a thing, we seal them away, usually into babies because their chakra coils are not developed and will be affected by the demonic chakra, instead they grow up used to the chakra, and as such it does not harm them, and their chakra coils are much larger due to the small amount of demonic chakra going through it. The only exception to this rule is the Uzumaki clan who can have bijuu sealed into them at any age below 10, and even more special is that the kyuubi has so much chakra that no one, baby or otherwise can have it sealed into them, the exception to this being the Uzumaki clan who are known for their incredible life force and massive chakra reserves, along with their natural talent in kenjutsu and fuinjutsu. This makes them the only person capable of holding the kyuubi within them, your mother was the jinchuuriki before you, however giving birth weakened the seal enough that a masked man was able to take advantage and release the seal and let out the kyuubi, he was able to separate me from your mother by using you as bait and then taking your mother away and releasing the kyuubi, I then rescued her, and she used her chains to hold down the kyuubi, and I sealed it into you. When I gave A these scrolls for you, I told him you were to be given the scrolls if either condition was met, you are going to start your ninja training, or you have chosen the life of a civilian and are now 8 years old. I hope you can forgive for sealing the kyuubi into you but I had no other option. The only thing I ask you is that you have a family one day. If you have however chosen the shinobi life then there is a storage seal below containing directions, to the Uzumaki and Namikaze libraries both of which can only be accessed by your blood. I suggest that you go the to the back of the library and find the door and then the copy of the sealing matrix sealed into the wall. Place the sealing matrix on a door in your home and rub 5 drops of blood onto it, this will create a space bridge of sorts linking that door directly to the door in the library and walking through the door will lead to the library, and vice versa, the Uzumaki library has the same thing. One more important thing should you get the library is that before settling into Konoha, the Namikaze clan was a branch of the Uchiha clan that separated from them unwilling to continue their pointless fight with the Uchiha, and became nomads who roamed the elemental nations, gathering all sorts of knowledge, the wide gene pool of the Namikaze because of this is clan secret because sometimes A Namikaze is born with the ability to mix and create any element they want given enough mastery and practice, this is of course much more difficult to do so than if you were born in that clan, but it is still possible because of the wide gene pool, we hid this ability by making sure such a ninja was not known and always a covert operative. I would hope you continue to keep this a secret from everyone but your family, you may even have multiple bloodlines so I suggest testing you chakra nature after reading this, and also hide that you have access both libraries, the reason you are the last of the Namikaze clan is for the knowledge our clan possessed. It is also part of the reason you are the last of the Uzumaki as well.
P.S the seal is needs your blood and chakra unlike both of the scrolls from your mom and me, which only required your blood, this is so that you have not found them before your shinobi training and if you have then you will be unable to access it.

Naruto had read the letter out loud and was shocked at what it said, he was both sad and happy, sad because he knew his father did not have a choice when it came to the kyuubi, happy that he cared about and loved him. But at the same time shocked at the possibilities of everything he could do with access to this library and at the history of his clan. The rest of the Yotsuki in the room knew about most of this so were not as shocked but were more shocked at the seals that were likely on the space bridge and were almost 100% sure it was an Uzumaki creation.
“Do you know how to test chakra natures, also what is chakra nature?” asked Naruto. A facepalmed before pulling out a scroll and a brush and making a diagram that showed the 5 basic nature affinities and how they worked. “Alright listen Naruto, there are five basic chakra natures, they are, lightning, wind, fire, water, and earth, the way they work is that each element is weak to one and stronger to another. Lighting is weak to wind, wind is weak to fire, fire is weak to water, water is weak to earth, and earth is weak to lightning.
There is an exception however when it comes to wind, which is that if someone uses a wind jutsu and you reply with a fire jutsu the wind will increase the strength of the fire and send it back towards you because it naturally overpowers wind, however if the wind jutsu used is stronger than the fire jutsu it will increase the strength of the fire jutsu and send it back to the person that fired it, the way it works is the same as blowing on a candle, since the wind will change the direction of the fire and send it in the opposite direction and how blowing on a fire makes it stronger, however too much wind will snuff out the fire.
This is how the basic elements work, there are different elements that work together well too such as wind and fire as I explained, or water and lightning since water is one of the best conductors of electricity and so on, they are however far too advanced for you. For now, let us find your chakra nature.” Explained A
“Ok, how do we do that?” asked Naruto. “channel some chakra into this paper.” A said handing him a small square of paper. Naruto replied by looking at him as though he was an idiot waiting for A to realise that Naruto had yet to unlock his chakra in the first place. After waiting for 2 minutes he finally yelled “BAKA A YOU NEED TO TEACH ME HOW TO UNLOCK MY CHAKRA FIRST” this brought them all out of the stupor that the suspense of knowing his chakra natures had caused, and both Bee and Raizen face-fell at the stupidity of A while he himself looked quite embarrassed.
To avoid any further embarrassment he said come to the Raikage training ground, which was a small isolated piece of land roughly 30 kilometres and was aptly named the Raikage training ground as they could train their most destructive jutsu there and would give special permission for access to it for anyone was trying to develop a destructive jutsu. He then quickly walked ahead not wanting to hear his brother’s idiotic rap on how stupid A was. While A ran ahead Naruto once again got angry and yelled “Hey wait what about my mother’s letter?” and Raizen replied saying that they would read it after testing his chakra nature.
As they all reached the training ground Bee ran up to his brother and started saying “Yo bro I always knew you was a fool, but not this big a fool, you fool. And then fell over laughing before A could even punch him in retaliation. “Alright Naruto, start by sitting in the lotus position, like this. You mis then meditate and feel your internal energy, look deep within yourself and try searching for a warm feeling, close the your stomach as that is where the core is located, you need to reach out to that feeling and grab onto it and pull it to the surface, try bringing it out. It is alright if you are unable to do so, most do not get it before at least a few days of meditation, we will try for 2 hours while making sure you are doing it correctly and then if nothing happens we will return to the office to read the scroll from your mother.” Said Raizen trying to placate him but subconsciously he knew it would likely happen within the 2 hours because he knew, the larger someone’s chakra reserves the quicker and easier it is to reach out to it and unlock it.

At the age of 4-5 most kids had barely enough chakra to even do E rank jutsu, and that’s why they took a week to awaken it. Naruto had sat in the lotus position and after a few corrections on his posture and such he had started meditating, after almost 90 minutes he could feel the warmth that Raizen Tou-san was talking about and grabbed onto it, but it was too heavy, and he spent the next 10 minutes trying to. Pull onto it before he finally lost balance and fell out of the lotus position alerting both his brothers and his father.
“I found it and tried pulling at it, but it was too heavy and I spent 10 minutes doing that before I lost balance.” The adults were shocked, that just goes to show both the amount and density of his chakra, they could not wait until it was awakened. The untamed chakra would certainly cause quite a bit of destruction and A was happy with his choice to come to this training ground.
“Ok Naruto try again grab onto the chakra and pull it with all the willpower you have.” Said A. “Ok” said Naruto before he started meditating once again, putting all his focus into trying to pull his chakra out and unlock his chakra core.
After another 10 minute wrestle he was finally able to muster enough willpower to unlock his chakra, something that made the 3 S and SS rank shinobi excited since they already knew of his strong willpower and resolve. And then chakra exploded outside of his body, normally when one unlocked their chakra they create a small crater surrounding them roughly 2 inches away from them and make a crater roughly 10 cm depth underneath them, but the more chakra the wider the explosion got and the denser the chakra the bigger the depth of the crater, this was a common method most villages used to determine suitable specialities for their ninjas, as those with smaller reserves have more control and would be suitable medic nin, while those with bigger reserves would be more combat oriented with bigger and more mass destruction techniques. And all hope of him ever learning medic jutsu or any E-rank jutsu went out of the window when the size of the crater was measured to be 15 feet wide and almost 4 feet deep. The fall was comical when he finally came back to his senses after feeling his chakra flow within his body for the first time, it was something that no one discussed, the euphoric feeling that came with finally letting your chakra flow and empower every part of the body was something that each of them had thought to be one of the greatest feelings ever. It made his appearance look even deadlier with a mass of visible chakra swirling around him, making hair spike up even more and showing his sun-blonde hair with the crimson on its tips looking even brighter with the chakra that now flowed through his body. However like all good things that too came to an end as his chakra suddenly stopped swirling and gravity remembered its job and Naruto fell into the crater. And as always, the breathtaking moment, ended with Naruto comically falling into the crater almost as tall as him and started coughing from the dust he inhaled.
All 3 of them started laughing at the way he suddenly fell before helping him out of the crater. “Do you feel the power of the raw chakra actively circulating your chakra network?” Raizen asked. “It feels amazing, it’s like my body has been supercharged and I can run forever!” yelled Naruto jumping around like there was no tomorrow. “Yo chill number 9, fool ya fool.” Horribly rapped Bee once again. A chuckled and said, while I am excited to find out your chakra natures, let us do so after we read your mother’s letter, I have a feeling if we wait too long you are going to get far too engrossed in your training. Plus, the Uzumaki library will probably have better chakra control exercises for you to do, I doubt even water walking will give you decent control with the amount you have, especially at your age.” “Alright A-nii.” Yelled Naruto excited to know more about his mother.

At the office once again, Raizen pulled the scroll out of his hidden drawer where it was hidden and said. “Here Naruto, this one requires a drop of blood as well.” He nodded and replied I know, and then took the scroll and started reading.

I’m so sorry that I am not there to raise you, I’m really sorry for everything I hope that your dad is still alive at the least, raising you, if not then once again I am sorry, I doubt Jiraiya is raising you and if not then I hope you are happy no matter who is raising you. I want you to remember that I will always be proud of you, and whether or not you become a ninja you are always making me proud, however you must learn fuinjutsu, even as a civilian those of the Uzumaki clan always learnt fuinjutsu, the requirement was the you must be a level 10 master to be considered an adult for civilian Uzumakis while for shinobi it was to do as much as you could, even the civilians could go beyond it but most chose not to and rather focus on whatever profession they have chosen. Remember this no matter what, the Uzumaki fuinjutsu cannot be given to just anyone, we have blood seals on just about everything valuable so that no one can steal it. That’s a big part of why Iwa and Kiri started the war, it was their anger at not getting anything after razing Uzu to the ground, after the attack even though they could get in, they could not to anything, they found no survivors, its what angered them, the humiliation of losing that many men to 1 measly clan, it made them reckless, especially when they got nothing out of it. The civilians along with the highest level seal masters we had, were busy making a massive double suicide technique that did the same as the dead demon consuming seal powered by the life force of every Uzumaki on the island and resulted in over 102,000 people in the stomach of the Shinigami. Our clan certainly was one to fear I am sure you must know, however if you do follow the path of the shinobi, fuinjutsu will not be the only thing you are required to be a master of as a member of the Uzumaki clan, you must also become a master of the sword, we were lucky, most of the blacksmiths of our village were able to escape and find refuge in wave, they have either returned and have at the least buried the bodies of our kinsmen or they were hunted after our deaths. An Uzumaki’s sword is unique, it is made uniquely with unique metals that cannot be found anywhere but Uzu and the reason why they are so unique and so coveted is because they themselves are sentient, the swords are made by the blacksmith with the help of the customer who will imbue their chakra into it, imbue a bit of their life force into them and such things, this makes our swords truly an extension of our own body, it is also covered in high quality seals for better performance and the metal is one that can channel chakra better than even regular chakra metal, no one but the person it was made for can even unsheathe it, that is how sentient it is. You have already made both me and your father proud from the burden you are forced to bear, I am sure you will one day make your clan proud too. Make the Elemental nations fear the name Uzumaki for one day, the whirlpools shall swirl again. When you go to the libraries you will do the same as you did for the Namikaze library for ours, it is where Minato got the seal from after all. I love you and please forgive both of us for the burden you bear, I can personally attest to it being a colossal burden. My sword and directions for the Uzumaki library are both in the seals below, while you cannot use my sword. I would like no one else to have it. Think of it as a reminder of me and your heritage. I hope you unlock the Kongo Fusa (Adamantine Chains) they were quite helpful in dealing with the kyuubi every time he tried to free himself.
P.S learn the shadow clone jutsu first, the scroll is also there, it will help you a lot
P.P.S you are to sign the Dragon summoning contract by the time you are a level 10 seal master as is standard for all Uzumaki. It can be found in the library hidden under a seal only an Uzumaki can break through

Naruto could see dried out tearstains on the letter, hell there were even drops of blood, by now he too was sobbing, he could not control it any longer he had read through his father’s letter and shed a few tears, but after that and then this as well he was not capable of doing so any longer, he was just a 4 year old after all. He opened the seal with the sword in it and looked at the sheath and handle seeing as he could not open it, the handle was a polished black in colour with a grip in the same colour the sheath was a sleek red colour the same as her hair with the Uzumaki swirls all over and what looked like golden chains, which were probably what she meant by Adamantine chains. Which brought his mind to what she said about his burden and how she too bared it and how her bloodline helped her fight the kyuubi? That last part was confusing so he asked his family. “Hey guys, my mom’s letter mentioned a burden of mine that she also faced, and also talked about how the Kongo Fusa (Adamantine chains) helped deal with the kyuubi? What did she mean by that.
Raizen sighed and said, you know how 4 years ago on your birthday the kyuubi attacked the leaf village, well your father left us a letter explaining what happened that night, so your mother was a jinchuuriki, which is when someone has a tailed beast sealed into them such as the Hachibi inside of Bee, they are beings of pure chakra and as such unkillable so we started sealing them instead into humans, where they could harm no others. When a female jinchuuriki gives birth, the energy holding the seal in place loses some power that goes towards the childbirth, this made the seal weak, which an unknown man in a exploited and used to remove the kyuubi from your mother and set it loose on Konoha. He rampaged until your father teleported it away and sealed it once again, however…” “I was the only Uzumaki at the time so he had to seal it into me.” “This you know however from you father’s letter. The reason your mother mentioned the chains is because she was the previous jinchuuriki and the Kongo Fusa have the ability to restrain a bijuu like the mokuton (Wood Release) which is more effective however the chains are known known as Adamantine chains for a reason since they are pure chakra constructs and as such unbreakable, and since the bijuu are also pure chakra the chains are able to restrain them without breaking, since you can break chakra.”
“I think I will go to sleep now, this is too much to swallow, we have spent quite a bit of time doing this.” And he was right they had spent 3 hours on the training ground and their discussions had taken another 3 hours, it was probably best for his to sleep now. But then A remembered “Wait we still haven’t checked your nature affinities.” He yelped out. After all he was very curious as well. “Oh yeah” grinned Naruto, a sweat drop on his forehead as he wondered how he forgot something that basic.
