Kyoko Reborn as Shinobi!

Kyoko relaxed as she waited for her Sun and Mist flames to stabilize inside her properly, if Reborn was here he would have chewed her out. She looked around the room which was filled with flowers, get well soon cards and chocolates. It was really nice of her friends to get them for her but what really caught her attention was the tension between Tsunade and her adoptive brothers. What happened while she was out cold? She would have to question them about it soon, when she can finally walk without feeling dizzy that is. She looked at the card, a particular one from Wave Country, that had Kakashi - Sensei hover around suspiciously. Well, she did not blame him considering the pretty hunter nin - san and Zabuza - san had sent it. She will ask for his name one day.

Kyoko sighed internally, 'I cannot believe they also heard about what happened. Rumours really can take a life of their own.'

Kyoko looked up at the knock, "Come in!"

Asuma walked, "Hey there, kiddo."

Kyoko smiled, "Asuma sensei, Ino - san, Chouji - san and Shikamaru - san."

Ino, "We figured, we could drop in after training."

Chouji, "Last time I noticed you enjoyed the fried salmon roll, so I got you the clan special."

Shikamaru, "How are you feeling?"

Kyoko, "That is really sweet Ino - san, thank you for the treat Chouji - san and honestly, I have been better and at the same time had the worst Shikamaru - san."

Asuma, "So bored out of your mind."

Kyoko, "You could say that. It seems my two adopted brothers have been troubling the older Shinobi though."

Ino blinked surprised, "How did you know?"

Kyoko, "There is always tension in the air whenever Sasuke and Tsunade are in the room together. Or when Jiraiya and Naruto are in the room. Not to forget Kakashi - sensei refusing to answer my questions usually means I am right in my guesses."

Shikamaru, "You are seriously terrifying sometimes."

Kyoko beamed, "Thank you."

Ino, "Well, it is true that Sasuke - san kidnapped Tsunade - hime and forced her back to Konoha."

Kyoko sighed, "I knew he did something crazy. I mean we joked about it before but.... Guess, I owe Naruto three thousand Ryo."

Chouji, "You joked about Sasuke - san kidnapping Tsunade - hime."

Kyoko, "Not Tsunade specifically but if we ever need someone who was unwilling to help. Yeah, I was not expecting it to happen this year though."

Asuma started to laugh, "Oh Kami! No wonder Kakashi is reluctant to part with you three."

Kyoko, "Well, I am not going anywhere for a few months. So, he has the wonderful gift of my presence."

Shikamaru, "Hey... "

Kyoko, "Hm?"

Shikamaru, "Is it true that you trained Naruto and Sasuke to be at the same physical level as a Jounin?"

Kyoko rubbed her neck, "To be completely honest with you, I am not sure about that. I just came up with a training schedule and we stuck with it. Whether we are at the same level as Jounin remains to be seen. I know for a fact we are not ready mentally or emotionally."

Asuma drawled, "Understatement."

Ino shifted, "Can you train me too?"

Kyoko, "Sure, but you will have to wait till I am stable again. If I learned anything from this exam is to avoid using S - ranked jutsus without practice. Even if those jutsus are your own creation."

Naruto walked in, "Damn right, you will not."

Kyoko, "Welcome back Ruru. How was your date?"

Naruto flushed before he poked her, "Do not distract me like that. Let me check your health."

Kyoko, "Sir, yes sir."

Chouji moved closer to Asuma as Naruto's hands glowed a golden colour which never failed to catch the shinobi's eye. It was too eye catching to ignore and not to forget it was definitely very effective in healing injuries faster than the normal palm healing jutsu. Kakashi even admitted to preferring it over the normal healing method as it felt calming to his senses. They talked about a few more topics including the current political climate and how Koyuki - Jou was worried about Kyoko. That had started a lot of gossip about their so called relationship which made Kyoko roll her eyes hard. Asuma had chuckled softly and after an hour Team ten left her and Naruto so they could rest.

Kyoko, "Okay Ruru, I ignored it before but what's wrong? Talk to me."

Naruto, "Jiraiya wants me to leave with him soon."

Kyoko, "I thought you had one month left before you did."

Naruto, "That was before Kisame and Orochimaru were spotted a few miles away from Konoha."

Kyoko, "And let me guess, they do not want to risk losing any of us because we do not have self preservation?"

Naruto nodded reluctantly, "I do not want to see you hurt again, nee - chan."

Kyoko pulled him into a hug, "It will be okay Ruru. Hey look at it this way, if you do leave early then you get to return early. Right?"

Jiraiya, "You got that right!"

Kyoko deadpanned, "Get out!"

Jiraiya, "Oi! Oi! What is up with the hostility?"

Kyoko, "I will tell Tsunade you were peeping on her."

Naruto snickered when Jiraiya spluttered out denials then left the room feeling dejected. He was hoping to fish for some information directly from the girl, so far they had only shared what they wanted to. The Frog Sannin had realized how secretive his Godson was a few days ago when he saw the blond tweak the trident. The young teen was explaining to the ex - root member now an ANBU how the plant summoning seal worked. It was a combination of Genjutsu plus a plant summoning technique similar to the Kono no bunshin. Kakashi had stayed beside Tenzo who had listened with bright eyes as Naruto checked his own chakra and promised to make a specialized weapon for him too.

It would take some time to come up with seals fitted just for him but it was not an impossible task. Kyoko had been awake for that chat and had also explained that her seals were unique to her so she could lower the chakra input required. But as everyone saw, the jutsus were still pretty draining to the point she entered a coma after using it more than once. Tenzo nodded in agreement, whenever he used his own wood jutsu he was drained of his chakra pretty badly. It was not surprising if a jutsu and seal meant to replicate the infamous wood release would have a similar problem. While the three had been talking Sasuke and Tsunade had been having a glaring match behind Kyoko. Jiraiya winced at that, they would be another fierce teacher and student duo.

Kyoko, "So, you are leaving today."

Naruto, "Nee - chan, you should not have gotten up."

Hiruzen, "You still have not recovered child."

Tachiba, "Sweetheart, Naruto was about to visit you."

Yume, "You should have rested."

Sasuke was hovering, "Koko - tan, honestly between you and Naruto I will grow white hair first."

Kyoko, "Relax, I am able to walk with a crutch now."

Naruto, "Still nee - chan."

Kyoko, "Besides, I have something for you. Here!"

Naruto, "Nee - chan! This scroll is... "

Kyoko smirked, "I kept one of the things Gato stole and this is a chakra glove that belonged to Uzumaki Akane. I was planning on giving it to you on your birthday but I decided I did not want to wait for too long. If anyone wants to fight me over this, I will happily take them to court and demolish them "

Tsunade gaped, "Kid! Do you have any idea how rare chakra gloves are. It is basically every medic's dream to own one of their own. On top of that one made by the Uzumaki."

Naruto, "Nee - chan... Nee - chan, when I return I will become the best seal based healer the world has seen."

Kyoko, "I do not doubt you Ruru."

Tsunade muttered, "Those three have many secrets. Uchiha does not even look surprised."

Kakashi, "I know!"

Sakura, "Hokage - sama!"

Torune, "We have a problem."

Hiruzen, "Children what happened? Early morning? Where is your Sensei?"

Sakura, "Sensei is on a mission so we were having a sleepover with Naomi - chan at her house."

Torune, "But when we woke up Naomi was gone."

Sakura took out a crumpled paper with a few symbols on it, "She left this instead. She is in trouble, Hokage - sama."

Kakashi, "This is the code for danger and possible kidnapping."

Sasuke, "Who would?"

Kyoko sighed, "I think we know who it is most likely. I mean we pissed him off after all."

Hiruzen, "Orochimaru."

Jiraiya, "Why would he want Naomi, was it? Why would he want her though?"

Sakura, "Our team specializes in helping the Cryptology department."

Jiraiya, "Fuck!"

Tsunade was grim, "So, she basically knows many village secrets that Orochimaru could use."

Torune, "She would not give up those secrets easily."

Sakura was pale, "We have to save her."

Naruto, "We will. Jiraiya, I would like to postpone our journey till we get Naomi back."

Jiraiya sighed, "Well, it's your call and she is your friend."

Sasuke nodded picking Kyoko up, "Not you though."

Kyoko, "I can walk."

Naruto deadpanned, "Just rest, nee - chan."

Kakashi, "You already did a good job stopping Orochimaru's plans Koko - tan. Get some rest now."

Tsunade watched the team take the young Kunoichi inside, "So, this is what you meant by a cursed generation Sensei. Not a day goes by, without chaos following them."

Hiruzen grumbled then smirked, "Well, they will be your problem after tomorrow. Not mine anymore."

Tsunade grumbled, "I am not even the Hokage yet and I already feel a headache looking at them. But I lost a bet to the brat so I will agree to a ten year tenure after that I quit."

Hiruzen, "Of course, Hime - chan."

Kyoko was placed in the bed, "Really? Are you going to tuck me in as well?"

Sasuke, "Do not tempt me nee - chan, I am not above it."

Kyoko glared, "I will put you through a hell level training so hard you will feel like you were reborn instead."

Sasuke smirked, "I welcome any chance to be stronger."

Kakashi, "You will have to get better in order to do any of that Koko - tan."

Kyoko, "Oh, I will ~ Oh, I will ~ Just watch me."

Naruto laughed, "That's my nee - chan."

Kyoko huffed as she noticed Hiruzen talking to Tsunade outside the room, probably making sure she stayed put in the bed. She was not like Kakashi - Sensei no matter what the rumours said about her thank you, she liked being healthy. One of the other things that happened while she was out cold was apparently Tsunade making a bet with Naruto after she refused to wear the hat. Naruto felt bad for his Jiji who wanted to quit so he had challenged her to a gamble, if he won, Tsunade would become Hokage, if she won no one would force her to stay. The blond had taken the suckers bet and played a round with Naruto losing to him spectacularly much to everyone's astonishment.

Tsunade did not want to believe it and had more than three rounds losing all of them till she forfeited. Kyoko had laughed when she heard that news and asked if no one else realized about Naruto's good luck. The good luck was surprisingly enough a boon from Kurama. The Uchiha smirked and that had answered that question plain as daylight. It was funny how adults liked to be in denial about some things and easily believed in other nonsensical rumours. But the brunette did not stay idling on bed and requested for a map of Oto from their exasperated Sensei. The silver haired Jounin agreed only if she rested and Kyoko looked over the map matching it with what was gathered about its geography by Naruto's clones.

Kyoko, "The Gorge."

Yume, "What?"

Kyoko, "If they are carrying Naomi - chan and running. This Gorge here is a good stopping point."

Tachiba, "Alright, but you are not going anywhere little lady. You are resting here."

Kyoko, "Of course, I am not going anywhere. I can't even move around for more than a few minutes before my muscles clamp up."

Tachiba, "Sorry sweetheart, we were just really terrified we almost lost you."

Yume nodded, "I would not know what to do if you had left us darling."

Kyoko sighed, "I understand ma, pa but for the hundredth time. I am not Kakashi - Sensei. He may like to dodge his healing process but I do not."

Yume, "Apologies, my little sunshine. It has just been so long since Konoha had another genius like Hatake - san."

Tachiba, "People cannot help but make comparisons."

Kyoko face palmed, "Ugh! No wonder that Lady made such a weird face at me back during the.... Never mind!"
