Kyoko Reborn as Shinobi!

The team returned home and reported the mission was a success and it was another mislabeled S - rank mission. Hiruzen sighed and half wondered, if this generation of shinobi would ever get a normal labeled mission. The number of missions which are mislabeled were just too high, too many and too irritating. Some of the missions still slipped under the radar as low rank missions which he was now sure was done intentionally by the client. The Sandaime rubbed his chin, perhaps he should talk with the bank about the loan idea young Kyoko spoke about. It would certainly stop clients from mislabeling the missions, especially if they could pay for it.

Kyoko opened their home's door after a week of staying at Hiruzen clan's compound, "Finally back home."

Tachiba chuckled, "Yes, and look they added more patrol around here, so we will not have to worry whoever it was that came here before."

Kyoko, "About that, Dad. I think, well we think it was one of Orochimaru's shinobi."

Tachiba sighed muttering, "Of course, you would figure it out."

Kyoko frowned, "Will we have to move?"

Tachiba, "No, no, this is our home, we are not going anywhere. Your mother and I worked hard to build this home."

Kyoko smiled, "Good, I am too attached to just up and leave."

The father and daughter relaxed, cleaned and fixed their house back to their liking after the ANBU went through it. Kyoko had been worried they would have to move houses but was glad that was not the case. She did wonder what the investigation on the two S - ranked shinobi who had interfered with the Chunin exams went. She wanted to ask but seeing how tense ANBU Bull looked she decided not to at the moment. After she became Chunin however she will find out what happened. The next day she met up with Sasuke and Naruto, noticing Naruto looked distracted.

Kyoko, "What's wrong, Ruru?"

Naruto blinked, "Jiraiya is back."

Sasuke, "The Toad Sannin? Is it because of Orochimaru?"

Naruto, "Partly yes, he also wants to teach me sealing."

Kyoko nodded, "He must have been impressed with your creations. I personally love the cleaning and the temperature seals."

Sasuke smiled, "Me too! When does he plan on teaching you?"

Naruto, "He said he is waiting for me to become a Chunin. Then he would take me with him to teach me sealing while also showing me the ropes of information gathering."

Kyoko's eyes sharpened at that, "Is he now? Does he know of your work and duties at the hospital?"

Naruto nodded, "Yes, he even went as far as to get me a full year off starting three months after the exams are over."

Sasuke, "He is serious about this. He really wants to teach you everything then."

Kyoko, "What do you mean Sasuke?"

Sasuke, "I once heard Itachi tell Shisui about working with Jiraiya. He is not just the Head of information Brokers, he created them."

Naruto's eyes widened, "What? He did?"

Kyoko whistle impressed by that, 'So, there is someone here to give Viper - san a run for their money.'

Sasuke, "From what I learned, he created them during his time as Jounin till he became a Sannin."

Naruto, "Wasn't that during the war then? Huh? What do you know? The Pervy Sage is kind of cool."

Kyoko turned sharply at that, "Excuse me? Pervy Sage?"

Naruto nodded looking tired, "Caught him peaking on a few teenage girls."

Kyoko, "And here I thought Orochimaru was the only pedophile we have to deal with."

The three heard a bush rustle and a thud coming from their right and turned to it. They looked at each other and nodded quickly replacing themselves with clones and went to check who it was spying o them. Their Sensei would not be joining them as he had security details to look over for the final part of the exam. Besides, Sensei hated the hospital because of many reasons and the only reason he stuck around the place was because they were there and working. Naruto grumbled on seeing who it was and signed the white haired man was actually Jiraiya.

Kyoko, 'He must have been curious about Naruto.'

Sasuke motioned for them to return, 'He must have heard Koko - tan call him a pedo. Meh! Serves him right for peaking on underaged girls.'

Naruto, "We should get back to work."

Kyoko, "Naruto if Jiraiya really plans on taking you with him then you are training with me one on one till the day he does."

Sasuke, "Why?"

Kyoko lit her palm with Sun flames, "I will be personally tutoring you in using this."

Naruto's eyes widened, "Oh, did you find out more information about it then, Nee - chan?"

Kyoko, "Something like that. It's a real pity no one else can use this though. I will tell you in the next few days when we train. Sasuke please join us, even if you don't have this ability you can still spar and be our practice partner."

Sasuke, "Sure, maybe I will get an idea to help Itachi heal faster."

Naruto, "Speaking of, how is he?"

Sasuke beamed, "He is doing better, the recovery is slow at the moment but the surgery was a success last night."

Kyoko and Naruto both relaxed on hearing that, at this point, Itachi was like an older brother to both of them. During their last mission Sasuke had been hit by an idea on how to help Itachi out with his problem. After they returned the young Uchiha had spent the week throwing around ideas with them and Kabuto who was impressed. They even practiced on a few guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, frogs and a couple of fishes. Then Sasuke had felt confident about the operation and entered the operation room with Itachi who trusted him. Kyoko and Naruto took over the patients Sasuke would normally deal with so he would not have to worry.

Sasuke, "Say, thank you both for taking care of those I normally did."

Naruto beamed, "No problem Sasuke, besides what you did is a really big deal for doujutsu users. The Hyuuga may hide it well but even they eventually lose their sights. Have any of us seen an adult shinobi Hyuuga who does not use Byakugan?"

Kyoko shook her head, "Nope, at least they come to their check ups."

Sasuke looked outside, "There are eighteen participants in the final exam this time."

Naruto, "The match up is interesting too. First it will be one on one. Then the nine who win will have three on one each. And finally a mega three on one fight to declare the victor."

Kyoko hummed, "I wonder who we will be paired up against."

Sasuke, "I hope the three of us reach the finals we can all show off at the end."

Naruto laughed nodding in agreement but first they would have to clear the first two rounds. Kyoko was very excited about it and dragged her team mates to do their duty as fast as possible. She wanted to train Naruto on flame manipulation and control before he left with Jiraiya to train who knows where. Meanwhile the said man watched them go through their daily routine in the hospital. When he had heard from his Sensei about his Godchild showing an interest in sealing, he had been ecstatic. When he heard about him joining the hospital however he had been very curious.

Jiraiya stared at Naruto, 'It's like looking at a mini me, but with less trauma.'

Jiraiya turned to Kyoko, he had heard about her jutsu creations, 'A mini Orochimaru without the darkness.'

Jiraiya finally turned to Sasuke, "A mini Tsunade without heart break and crippling loss.'

ANBU Deer, "Jiraiya - sama, the Hokage requested your presence."

Jiraiya, "Yeah, yeah, I heard you."

Hiruzen looked up from his papers, "So, Jiraiya - kun, what do you think of my grandson and his team mates?"

Jiraiya, "It's like looking at my team but without the baggage holding us down."

Hiruzen paused his writing then continued, "Yes, but do remember they are their own person."

Jiraiya, "If I did not know any better I would have suspected someone made clones of my team."

Hiruzen hummed, "So, how are the preparations going Kakashi?"

Kakashi appeared with his signature eye smile, "They are going well, Hokage - sama."

Jiraiya, "I am surprised you are not preparing your students for the finals, gaki."

Kakashi, "Maa, maa, at this point Koko - tan's hell training is more brutal than my own. I am pretty sure she could easily train ANBU to become stronger."

Hiruzen sighed, "Just because she is a prodigy, it does not mean she is perfect."

Kakashi, "I never said that, Hokage - sama. She knows she still has a lot to learn but she also is very aware of her own limits. We are currently waiting for her chakra level to expand before I train her again."

Jiraiya raised an eyebrow, "So not only is she a mini Orochimaru but also a mini Kakashi."

Kakashi gave him a dirty look, "My student is hundred times smarter than that snake."

Jiraiya raised his hands, "Just saying what I observed. She created her own jutsu during her time at the Academy then another just as she was becoming a shinobi. Do you know how many people accomplished that? None!"

Kakashi, "The Nidaime created many jutsus too."

Jiraiya, "Not as a student he did not. He only created jutsus after becoming a shinobi and gaining access to chakra and information on it."

Hiruzen who was quiet spoke, "Jiraiya has a point. Young Naiko is very special isn't she? If it were not for the thorough blood test, you would think she was the Nidaime's daughter."

Kakashi muttered under his breath, "Thank Kami, she is not or heaven only knows how many would try to kidnap her."

Jiraiya, "Anyway what is this I hear about Uchiha courting my Godson?"

Kakashi eye smiled at him, "The two of them confessed to each other in our last mission. It was very sweet and cheesy too."

Jiraiya sighed, "And no one interfered, not even that Naiko brat who is normally overprotective of Naruto?"

Hiruzen puffed out a smoke, "Now, now Jiraiya - kun, leave them be. If they love each other truly and are happy we should respect that."

Jiraiya, "Do you really believe the Council will allow that?"

Hiruzen, "Young Naiko and even some of the girls in the Uchiha clan offered to be a surrogate mother. That way there is no problem now, is there?"

Jiraiya gaped, "Seriously?"

Kakashi nodded, "Mn hmm! I was very surprised too but then again it really should not be surprising either. She has always been protective to the point she would use her own body to keep them safe. The boys would risk their lives too, especially Naruto for her nee - chan."

Jiraiya, "Damn! Why couldn't Naruto have fallen for Naiko instead? She sounds like the perfect girl."

Kakashi, "Like my student once told me, the heart wants what it wants."

Jiraiya, "That's not one of my books."

Kakashi, "It's one of Koko - tan's books, a very lovely story."

Hiruzen sweat dropped as Jiraiya whined about how his favourite customer was betraying him. He let them bicker as they waited for the rest of the Council to join them before things got serious. The Council was mostly made of Clan Heads and a few civilian Clan Heads who worked together during major events like the exams or festivities. At the moment they were discussing the security of the tournament and the threat of two S - ranked nin. The civilian Clan Heads may not be fighters but they knew the protocols very well. They were civilians living in a shinobi village so knowing escape protocols during war or invasion was a necessity.

Hiashi, "On a brighter note, the trade between the Land of Snow and Land of Fire has increased. We will be seeing tourists and visitors from the Land of Snow in the near future."

Fugaku nodded, "One of the Chunin Kunoichi who retired from my clan was accepted by the new Queen as a tribute."

Shukaku, "One of my clan's younger men as well. I will admit I was surprised to hear the young Queen did not care about gender. Most civilians are very uptight about it."

Kakashi, "It is most probably because she lived most of her life prior to becoming crowned Queen hiding to save her life. Priorities do change when something dangerous happens."

Inoichi drawled, "Of course, you and your team would know all about it."

Kakashi eye smiled and the meeting continued with ANBU joining them with news. Orochimaru and his partner Hoshigaki were noticed very close to Konoha a few days ago. It seems they planned on trying to take Naruto for whatever reason during the exam. Well, that was unacceptable and they would be prepared though, many did question who Orochimaru joined and why they wanted the young blond. Orochimaru may be a traitor but even he knew better than to share village secrets, hopefully.
