''No words needed.''

It was the early morning sun that awoke Asuna from her sleeping spell. Her eyes were barely open and she felt the huge need to stretch her limps out, so that was what she did. Hearing her limbs pop like they always did, she smiled in satisfaction and relaxed back down, her eyes going to rub the sleep away from her eyes.

Though she was feeling cold, she didn't pay attention to the things around her to see why that was. Her apartment was always warm, both from it facing the sunrise and sundown, it was always way too warm in there. But then again, she could have forgotten her windows open again, the room's tall windows always made it bearable at some point to be inside.

She was now more awake, her alarms sounding high in her head, her eyes snapping wide open, where was she? What happened that she was outside, laying on the wet grass high in the morning?

Blinking, she moved off the ground and took a look around herself. Her eyes focused on the training grounds around her till they landed on a sleeping Sasuke, whose chest was falling up and down softly, he was fast asleep, looking relaxed for the first time in his life.

Her purple eyes softened and she came closer, sitting beside him, relaxing back in the tree, her arms crossing over her chest as she pulled her legs closer to her body, relaxing her head on them, and turning herself to face him.

She honestly didn't want to wake him up, they still had a few more hours before they would have to go to the academy and get their teams assigned, she just didn't want him to wake up and put that poker face on. Keeping herself silent, she pulled her book out of her pocket and started reading, keeping an eye on Sasuke from the corner of her purple eyes.

Sasuke woke up a few minutes later, feeling startled and confused. Why was he sleeping at the training grounds and why was Asuna doing there? What time was it? He was going to be late for the academy maybe? But she would have woken him up if it was time to go, she wasn't that irresponsible right?

His black eyes focused on her as she read silently beside him, her eyes focused on her book, which read ''Human Anatomy'' on the cover, which he found odd, but didn't question further.

''Morning sleeping beauty.''She said, startling him and making him look away, he had been staring at her for a while now, and she knew it. If he was the blushing type, his cheeks would be red, but this was Sasuke, so he only looked away from her.

''Hn.'' Was all he said before he lifted himself off the ground and left down the little road, he had to go home and get ready for the academy. His mind was now more focused on the fact he was going to be put into a team and honestly, he thought that would be a pain in the ass. His plans for revenge were going slower and slower lately and that was not something he planned on keeping at.

He was going to train more now that he knew Asuna was stronger, she managed to knock him out without using much anything else but taijutsu and that pissed him off more than anything else. He was the best in his class, the very best student, but Asuna managed to beat him, even though, she was at the very bottom of the chart. Now that was a hit to the ego. But if he was going to get stuck with two others on a team, he hoped at least he got Asuna, she might be useful to him and his training and not slow him down. But he was only hoping.

''Well, I should get going too.''She mumbled to herself and got up, dusting her shirt off from the dirt, her eyes going up as she made her way home.

It seemed like Sasuke was the first to walk inside the classroom, not even Iruka was there. A sight slipped his lips as he took a seat at the middle deck to the window, his hands locking together as his chin found its place over them.

His eyes focused forward and he lost himself in his thoughts, forgetting about the world around him for a few more minutes. His eyes would shift to the door of the classroom when it would slide open, people walking in, some alone, some with a friend.

He didn't seem all that interested in it, but secretly, he was looking out for Asuna, who had yet to come around. He found himself finding interest in her skills and maybe even asking her for help on his taijutsu skills, she might be able to teach him something useful for a change.

It wasn't till Naruto walked into the classroom that Sasuke was shaken out of his thoughts. The blondie sunshine walked in with all the confidence of the world on his shoulders and of course, someone had to comment on it before Sasuke could move his lips in the same line of thought as Shikamaru.

''Naruto what are you doing here? This class  is for graduates only, you can't be here.'' Shikamaru said and Naruto proudly showed him his headband, which made him an official ninja as of last night.

''Oh, you see this Shikamaru? I graduated last night! We are going to be training together from now on, ha!''Naruto stated proudly and adjusted his headband.

Now that that was cleared, Naruto turned to the door, like he had Spiderman's senses, he saw Asuna walk in, her head buried in her anatomy book. Which he found disturbingly well described from what he managed to read over her shoulder before.

''Asuna!'' Naruto managed to tackle her down the second she put her book in the safety of her pocket and even Sasuke had to admit he was a little impressed by how fast she reached everything around her in the few seconds she had.

She managed to hide her book, and brace herself for the whole weight of Naruto, catching him just in time and managing to keep them standing in the tight pushing hug he was giving her, as well as pushing them to the side as Ino and Sakura tied their feet at the door. Surely they would have knocked the hugging team down with the force they came in with.

''Asuna-chan where were you last night? I came to get you but you weren't home!''Naruto whined at her as she patted his head proudly, her lips stretched from ear to ear, seeing his headband proudly sitting on his forehead.

''It was made for you Naruto, believe it!''She said, avoiding the question, Naruto wouldn't be very happy with her if he knew where and with whom she spent the night. She couldn't help but glance at Sasuke, finding him looking at her with the corner of his eye. Interesting.

Asuna sensed Sakura making her way past them, bumping Naruto out of the way and making her way to Sasuke, who seemed more interested in their stare-off, she was not going to back away from this! If he was going to act like a child, she was going to act like one back! Pff.

''Hi, Sasuke!''Sakura said and seemed to be nervous, but that was normal, most of the girls, aside from Asuna and Hinata, were head over heels for Sasuke, something Asuna understood to a point, Sasuke was handsome, smart, and strong, plus, he was an Uchiha, an elite clan, known for its many strong ninjas. But he was still arrogant and selfish, brooding and cocky, something that Asuna was not so fond of, but everyone else seemed to forget about him aside from the male population.

''Do you mind if I sit here?''She asked sweetly, pointing to the chair next to his, which he said nothing to, but Asuna knew he was annoyed when his left eye twitched just the slightest.

Naruto sighed and rubbed the back of his head as a commotion of who had come first in the classroom broke loose, seeing as Ino and Sakura were a tie and some other random girls in the class claiming to be there before the two, a commotion broke out and everyone seemed to be fighting now.

Asuna took the seat, in the end, seeing Sasuke gesture the seat to her, she didn't mind in the end, she did enjoy their little spar yesterday, plus she wanted the commotion to stop. But no one seemed to note she had taken the seat, till Naruto made a big deal out of it.

His body made its way to the top of the desk, his body standing kneeled in front of Sasuke, the two locking eyes, a spark of hatred flying, Sasuke found the blondie annoying and Naruto hated him, he wasn't perfect and Naruto wanted everyone to see it, but no one but a few did. Which only added fuel to the whole thing between them.

''Naruto calm down, let's sit in the back!''Asuna said, but a firm arm, which belonged to Sasuke, was placed on her shoulder as she started to sit up. He wasn't using much force, only alerting the girl that he wanted her to stay where she was, but she could tell, from the little firmness that he would argue if he refused. She was a little started, of course, this was Sasuke after all, but even he had to show some human emotions at some point, and this seemed to be the point. Some would say it was possession, some annoyance, some might say he was fond of her in the more romantic setting, but they both knew it was a plea for help against the fact those girls would surely take her place and his sanity might go out the window completely by it.

That seemed to catch the attention of everyone in the room, Sasuke wanted her to stay where she was.

Now everyone seemed to stare at her as she shared a knowing look with Sasuke, she knew what he wanted, some piece from his never ending fan girls and he wouldn't mind Naruto sitting on her other side, which was what she wanted. She found it strange how they understood each other with just a look but didn't comment on it further.

But as she calmed down and took her seat again properly, she felt the hand from her shoulder slip away harshly and she saw the most hilarious thing in the world.

Naruto had fallen forward, his lips locking with those of the Uchiha, so Naruto kissed Sasuke, which was something she didn't even imagen in her wildest dreams, which made the redhead fall to the ground in a fit of harsh laughter, as Sasuke and Naruto parted, spitting and whipping their mouths.

But her fit of joy ended when she felt the harsh vibes coming from the whole classroom, the fan girls were mad again, but this time it was Naruto, which only made Asuna stand to her feet in front of him,  around kicking the mob that came to beat Naruto.

''Don't even try.''She said harshly and her snarl was enough to make the girls back away, there were a few things Asuna swore to do, and even though kicking fan girls wasn't one of them, she swore she would protect Naruto, so round kicking a few angry girls wasn't much if he was ok.

Naruto whipped his mouth as he took the seat beside her, his eyes were following Sakura, who was making her way behind him, he liked the girl a lot and because of Sasuke, she never talked with him, but hopefully, she would be on his team, him, Sakura and Asuna, that was what he was crossing his fingers for, hopefully, luck would be on his side today.

Asuna was thinking something along those lines, she hoped she would be with Naruto and Shikamaru, she liked those two best. Naruto was the force, while Shikamaru was the brain and she would fit perfectly between the two as the executioner. But she hoped to be with Naruto, now that he was here and was going to be a genin like her, she wanted to stay by his side no matter what.

But the thing that picked at her thoughts was who their sensei would be, someone elite and strong, but wise and caring, she hoped for someone that she would be able to thrust completely with her life, something that was truly precious to her now.

''Ok everyone, settle down!''Iruka sensei finally made his way inside, holding a clipboard, something that got the attention of everyone, their future was written on that piece of paper, their team members, their senseis, everything. This was it.

''Team 1....''Iruka said and Asuna felt her hand being taken under the desk, Naruto looked nervous and she mirrored him, but they somehow overcame that and grinned at each other.

''They can't take us apart, we are the best duo in history,'' Naruto said and Asuna wanted to argue, say something about Izuna and Madara Uchiha, or Hashirama and Tobirama Senju, or even Kakashi Hatake and Obito Uchiha's worst case. Maybe they were not the best choice for history but she was going to make it their future for sure. But she sealed her lips shut and listened in.

''Team seven.''Iruka said and smiled, looking up as he said it.''Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, Uzumaki Naruto, and Seto Asuna.''He said and locked his eyes on Naruto, who was on his feet, yelling in happiness as Asuna tackled him down to the floor. Sakura seemed to be looking at Ino with a smug look on her face, she was going to be with Sasuke!

Sasuke on the other hand was looking down at Asuna and Naruto rolling on the floor in happiness, her face was bright and she was smiling from ear to ear in happiness. Something he didn't quite understand, Naruto and Sakura would slow them down a lot, why was she happy about it?

Shaking his head, he looked forward, listening to the rest of the teams, it seemed there were more teams this year than last year and Iruka couldn't help but mention it. Which was something Sasuke didn't care about?

''Those are all the squads,'' Iruka said when he finished with the tenth one, his eyes shining out as he looked at his students, they were finally growing up, becoming the ninja they trained so hard to become. He was filled with pride.

''Sensei!? Why does a great ninja like me have to be on the same squad as a loser like Sasuke!?''Naruto voiced out his opinion on the black-haired male, which only made Sakura want to punch him, and Asuna giggled, her hand going over her mouth as she did so, making Sasuke turn his head a little to look at her.

''Naruto out of the whole class Sasuke had the best marks, while you have the lowest, so it was reasonable to put you together for balance,'' Iruka admitted out loud, making Naruto purse his lips and sit down, arms crossed over his chest. Sasuke smirked but that remained hidden behind his hands, he felt a jab to his ribs seconds later, which came from Asuna, who didn't look very happy with him.

''I am very proud of you all,'' Iruka said, his eyes glassing over as he fiddled with his papers, looking down and away from his students, he was sad, true, but he didn't want the last minutes with these young minds to be of sadness, he was sending them off to find themselves against the world and what better way to start but by smiling brightly at their new path.

Asuna smiled and got up, slinging her bag over her shoulder as she made her way outside, hiding her teary eyes away from everyone, she heard Naruto shouting something behind her but she didn't stay to hear it but made her way to the roof, where she could be alone for a while. She was going to do something before they met their sensei and this was the perfect time for it.
