Task
Just as the sun breached the horizon, the chubby woman returned to the house. She didn't notice the person sleeping on the couch as she passed by on her way to the nursery.
As she entered she saw that the twins were up and already trying to climb out.
She clicked her tongue in amusement as she lifted both babies off the bars. They started to fuss, clearly protesting the interruption of their stunt. She apologetically rubbed their backs while baby talking to them that they could have hurt themselves had she not stopped them.
When she turned around, she jumped back for the Hokage stood in the doorway.
"Lord Hokage, you scared me," she sighed. He smiled apologetically and scratched his head. "I didn't mean to frighten you, I only wanted to ask you something." "And what is that Lord Hokage?" All jokiness left his face and his voice became firm as he spoke, "Did you see anything out of the ordinary?" She quirked an eyebrow as she replied slowly, "No, Lord Hokage." He hummed then added, "That's all I wanted to know."
The woman nodded then went on her way but now she looked around, wondering if there was anything strange in the house.
Meanwhile, Naruto went to the couch and shook the sleeping ninja gently. The man groaned before opening his eyes and eying the one who woke him. "After so many months, I get some proper sleep and you ruin that." "Keep your voice down. The caretaker is here so you need to act accordingly."
Disguised Sasuke grumbled as he sat up.
"Can I trust that you'll stay in here?" Sasuke's disguised self quirked a brown eyebrow. "I'm not coming with you?" Naruto frowned. "What are you, stupid? If they see you, they're gonna ask questions because you've never seen you before and if they dig around and find out you're that wanted ninja that knocked me up, you'll kill you. We'll figure out how to renew your legal status later. Until then; stay, in, this, house." He put up his fingerless gloved hands in surrender. "Fine."
Naruto stood back and fixed his cloak. "And stay out of that lady's way. If she asks you anything, tell her you're a personal bodyguard for me." Then he paused, cupped disguised Sasuke's cheek, leaned down and kissed his forehead. "Be good for me," he whispered.
Without waiting for a response, he walked away.
And the man watched him go while his heart thumped in his chest and heat rushed to his face.
