Kyoko in Naruto Shippuden

Kyoko sat opposite of Naruto munching on snacks, "Today is the day the leaders of the different villages arrive."

Naruto nodded humming around his dango, "I am just happy we get to see Gaara - nii again safe and healthy. Little Shu - chan too, of course."

Sasuke hummed while drinking his tea, "It should be interesting to observe everyone's reaction to a baby Shukaku. Everyone thinks Shukaku is taken by the Akatsuki so I wonder how they will react to a baby chakra beast."

Kyoko took a bite of her pocky looking contemplative, "It will be a double edged sword in my opinion. Everyone thought Gaara was the first to survive an extraction."

Naruto took a cookie flavored pocky from her, "Yeah, if they find out the chakra beast can have children they might try to sacrifice virgins to them again."

Sasuke paused mid sip, "Again? They did it before?"

Naruto nodded, "It was in one of the story books that nee - chan got me by bargaining with one of the merchants. It was a story about how a man made a deal with the Gyūki and in return his first daughter was given to the Gyūki."

Kyoko blinked, "The first mermaid was born through that, or rather the first shinobi who could breathe under water was born."

Sasuke paused, "Like that Isaribi kid? They are kind of like the first Hokage, huh?"

Naruto shrugged, "Yes, but like the first Hokage Senju Hashirama, only one person was born with that ability. Isaribi is more like Tenzo - Sensei."

Kyoko got up dusting her dark green outfit, "Yup, I gotta go. Godaime - sama is waiting for me."

Naruto waved, "Have fun, nee - chan."

Sasuke looked seriously at her, "If you need us."

Kyoko grinned, "I will send a clone."

Kyoko headed to the Hokage tower where the meeting would take place and met with the Godaime. Tsunade looked up from her papers when she entered and motioned for her to take a seat. The Godaime then called for Shizune who appeared with a list of the visitors both VIPs and regular people. As Kyoko had expected on the VIP list were the Kazekage of Suna, Kiri, Kusa, she was not sure if Kumo or Iwa or Oto or even Ame would attend though. Kyoko always felt a bit uneasy about Ame and Oto, the clones she sent there had reported seeing the members of the Akatsuki. However the clones had not been able to get close to find out which members before they were disposed of.

Kyoko murmured, "Maybe I should make a different type."

Tsunade, "A different type of what?"

Kyoko, "Just a fleeting thought about a new jutsu."

Tsunade stared at her then sighed, "You know, sometimes I really want to know how your brain works and comes up with ideas. You already created your own clone jutsu, healing jutsu, attack jutsu, figured out how to summon plants and created more than ten combo jutsus that require Shinobi to work together."

Kyoko huffed, "Not my fault that chakra is so easy to mold and create new jutsus."

Tsunade deadpanned, 'I am pretty sure you are the only one who thinks that way.'

Shikamaru who had joined them a while ago twitched, 'So troublesome!'

Tsunade, "Well, I hope you are ready then. We are going to be receiving them at the secured meeting area."

Shikamaru, "Understood Hokage - sama."

Kyoko, "Let's go."

The three of them left for the meeting area which was in another room and took their places as they waited for the rest of the leaders to join them for the first time after the War. The first to enter was the Kazekage of Suna with his siblings who nodded at them in respect then took their seats. After them, the Kazekage of the Mist entered followed by Haku and the Jinchuriki of the three tails. Kyoko was not expecting the Jinchuriki to appear but then again he did not look insane and seemed calm. The next to enter was the Kazekage of Kusa with his guards, he looked very miffed but did not say much aside from the required greeting. And much to her surprise the leader of Ame appeared with a blue haired woman and a red haired man who looked familiar.

Gaara was staring, 'Are they serious?'

Temari blurted, "Who are you?"

The red haired man turned to her, "I am Kohaku."

Kankuro, "Apologies for the rudeness but you look similar to the S - ranked missing nin from Suna."

Kohaku, "I understand. I am not him though I assure you. Allow me to introduce you to our Shodaime Uzumaki Nagato."

Kyoko, 'An Uzumaki.... Of course they can sense my clones. That explains a lot about why but leaves many other questions.'

Tsunade spoke up, "It is wonderful to meet another Uzumaki. Welcome to Konoha."

Nagato nodded, "Thank you. I have heard a lot about you. Especially your student, Naiko Kyoko, the Sun Healer of Konoha."

Tsunade chuckled, "Kyoko is a lot of things except, being one of my students. She was already a Head Healer before I returned to claim the hat."

Nagato blinked, "What?"

Shikamaru, "It is the truth. Kyoko - san here created her own division and techniques different from Tsunade - sama's techniques."

Kaizen the leader of Kusa spoke up, "I see, how impressive. You were also the one who encouraged Uzumaki Karin to become the leader of the Healers in Kusa."

Kyoko sighed, "I apologize in advance if I sound condescending or anything like that. But that Uzumaki girl has more chakra which can be used to heal the entire nation than you do. So yes, I encouraged her to become the Head Healer either by working hard and being straight forward or by force if necessary."

Kaizen narrowed his eyes, "Is that so?"

Kyoko, "I faced your shinobi during the Chunin exams Kaizen - sama. I do not wish to criticize but their actions can be labelled as suicidal. If we were at War, their arrogance would have gotten them and multiple others killed."

Kaizen, "Such a harsh judgement."

Kyoko, "Like I said I apologize for sounding rude."

Kaizen, "Actually Karin - chan put them in their place using similar reasons. So, I cannot judge you on it."

Tsunade, "I believe no one else is planning on attending this meeting so shall we begin?"

Gaara, "I have no objections."

Nagato nodded, "No objections from me either."

Kaizen, "The faster we do this, the faster we return home."

Tsunade, "Let the first inter - Hokage meeting of Konoha after the War begin."

Naruto was hunched over his seal then pushed it away sighing, 'I can't focus at all.'

Jiraiya, "What has gotten you so depressed?"

Naruto, "Koko - tan just sent a message before the meeting room was sealed away."

Jiraiya sat up straight, "She did?"

Naruto, "Uzumaki Nagato."

Jiraiya, "What?"

Naruto grumbled, "That is the leader of Ame and the one most likely housing the missing nin. I was wondering how they could be so confident in just accepting such dangerous Shinobi but now it makes sense."

Jiraiya was quiet but his hands were clenched tight, "I see. I will have to go talk to them."

Naruto, "Hey, what's wrong?"

Jiraiya was crying, "I thought I lost him during the War. I am glad he is alive."

Naruto, "Did you know him?"

Jiraiya nodded slowly, "Yes, a long time ago I taught him and two other young children to defend themselves."

Naruto, "You should introduce us, he is an Uzumaki too right?"

Jiraiya wiped his face, "Yeah, you are right, kiddo. You are his relative so I should introduce you to each other."

Naruto grinned, "Right! I am very curious about them too. Do they have any stories about the Clan? Do they have any traditions I don't know about? On top of that I want to share what I learned about our Clan with them."

Jiraiya smiled softly, "I have no doubt you will get along well."

Sasuke was waiting outside the sealed meeting place with Naruto and Jiraiya, it was almost time for them to come out. The meeting place was built after getting legal and full support from the Fire, Ice and Water Daimyōs. The fact that the Princess of land of Snow supported Konoha was not a hidden fact either. It was common knowledge that her harem consisted of the many clan members of Konoha who protected her. Jiraiya tensed as the doors opened and the VIP guests appeared through the doors led by the Godaime. When Nagato appeared and paused the tension was obviously thick and the Kazekage of Kusa excused himself first.

Kaizen, "I should go. I believe I promised Karin - chan, she would have a week off next month."

Naruto, "Appreciated."

Gaara, "We will be getting some rest as well. I will see you tomorrow."

Shikamaru, "The Nara Clan like always will be hosting them."

Terumi Mei turned to Kyoko, "I do believe Zabuza wishes to see you so how about you be our escort."

Kyoko looked at her teammate, the leader of Ame then at Terumi then nodded, "Yeah, that might be for the best. Naruto, Sasuke I will see you for dinner at Sensei's."

Sasuke, "It's a plan."

Haku, "You eat at your Sensei's home?"

Kyoko deadpanned, "It is the only way to ensure he is eating healthy."

Haku, "I think I might start doing that for Zabuza too."

Kyoko, "Him too?"

Haku sighed, "Afraid so."

Kyoko, "We have stubborn old men as our Senseis."

Terumi laughed, "Honestly I can see why Zabuza respects you. No one else has the guts to call him an old man."

Zabuza appeared at the door of where they were staying, "Who's an old man?"

Kyoko, "We were talking about you."

Zabuza, "Brat! Good to see you are just as weird as ever."

Kyoko, "Thank you. Being normal is so overrated anyway."

Zabuza shook his head while Terumi and Haku giggled, Yagura snorted as he observed the girl in front of him that had the attention of Isobu. The three tails had not stopped paying attention to her from the moment they had seen her. Isobu mentioned she was marked by both the Kyuubi and the Ichibi as one of their own and was not to be messed with. Haku had invited Kyoko inside and they had already started sharing stories and confirming some of the more absurd and ridiculous rumours. Isobu was amused, Yagura could tell by some of the more absurd stories, especially about the way she found out how the plant summon worked. It was a summon, who knew and unlike animal summon you needed a seal to summon plants.

Yagura, 'You have been quiet.'

Isobu, 'She is very interesting.'

Kyoko, "You look like you have something to say."

Yagura, "Isobu is very interested in you and wishes to talk."

Kyoko, "Cool, can I suggest an idea?"

Yagura , "What sort?"

Kyoko, "If you know any clone jutsu, create a clone and allow Isobu access to it. That is how the Kyuubi and the Ichibi communicate with us."

Yagura stared at her, then created a water clone, except the clone looked like a turtle, "Oh! It works in a way."

Isobu, "Hello there."

Kyoko, "Greetings Isobu - sama."

Mei was trying not to pale and cleared her throat, "A warning next time please Yagura - kun."

Yagura, "Apologies."

Zabuza, "Your weirdness just upped to freakiness."

Haku, "Zabuza - san, don't be rude."

Zabuza pointed, "That is the Isobu, Isobu. Haku, being rude is the least of our worries."

Kyoko laughed as Isobu sat on her lap while she ran a hand covered in Sun flames across his shell getting pleased rumbles from the turtle. Mei, Haku, Zabuza and Yagura could only watch as the turtle Biju feared for it's water power acted like a docile cat. Isobu explained after a while that the method Kyoko was using was very similar to what his father used. That caused another round of pin drop silence in the room which was only broken by Yagura questioning Isobu about his father. Isobu said their father had created and given birth to him and his siblings so they could protect the Elemental nations from outside enemies. Terumi became very serious because if a tailed beast was calling someone an enemy they must be very powerful.

Zabuza, "Stop, I need sake to digest the fact a Biju considers someone their enemy."

Haku, "It is a little terrifying to think about."

Yagura, "I will order some sake."

Mei, "Please, thank you."

Kyoko, 'I wonder how Naruto's talk with Uzumaki Nagato is going? I hope they are doing well.'

Isobu, "I apologize for dumping all this on you out of nowhere."
