Kyoko in Naruto Shippuden

Kyoko hummed as she enjoyed the dinner, "So you are Jounin now, Haku - san? Do you plan to get a Genin team?"

Haku looked at her with amusement and contemplation, "I am not sure if I will have the time to train a Genin team at the moment. If what Isobu - sama said about the continents across the ocean is true."

Yagura was enjoying the spicy and sweet barbeque, "We should focus on increasing our Navy's strength and numbers."

Mei drank her sake, "I agree. Isobu - sama, what do you think about being the leader of the Defense Force? You are very powerful and no one sane would dare attack you."

Isobu looked up from his food, "Me?"

Mei nodded, "You are one of the water based Biju. On top of that you are a turtle or is it a tortoise? I could never make it out. Anyway you are Mist's greatest strength and defense."

Kyoko perked up, "And he is a water type so water would be his most powerful and advantageous terrain."

Mei was turning a little pink now, "I am not sure what some of that means but yes, you would have a great advantage."

Isobu hummed, "I will think about it."

Mei grinned, "Please, it would help me out if someone took over the coast line guard."

Zabuza sighed drowning a bottle of sake, "Now we are working with the Biju to protect our home. Haku hand over that sake bottle."

Haku looked at him exasperated, "No, no more sake for you Zabuza - sama. I have to be the one who has to haul you around. I absolutely hate it when you throw up on me."

Zabuza, "Brat! Who took care of you when you were sick? Me! I did, you hear? I cleaned up your vomit and mess more than once."

Haku smiled sweetly and seriously, "Well, I hate seeing you sick and suffering, so no more. Drink water instead."

Kyoko laughed, "You sound like his wife."

Haku huffed at that, "I feel more like his mother at this point."

Mei laughed boisterously, "We are a family made up of fucked up individuals but I would not change it."

Kyoko grinned, "I know what you mean."

Zabuza crowed smugly, "You freak of nature, you fit in just fine with us. If you get bored of Konoha, just come and join us."

Kyoko laughed, "I will keep your offer in mind for the future."

Kyoko spent the rest of the evening till night' with the representatives of Mist showing them around Konoha especially the new changes. From two new hospitals being built in the North and South areas of Konoha to new orphanages being set up. It had taken time but with a lot of patience and a stubborn attitude Sasuke had finally received the right to build a hospital focused on the five senses. Most of the Shinobi depended on the five senses to help them during their missions so he had insisted on building a hospital that focused on those senses. Mei was fascinated by the hospital that focused on dermatology which was care of skin, ENT which was care of ear, nose and throat and finally ophthalmology or eye care.

Zabuza gave an impressed whistle on seeing the hospital, "The brat is in charge of this hospital?"

Kyoko, "It took a lot of nagging and money but yes."

Yagura sweat dropped, 'Why did nagging sound more like threatening to me?'

Isobu, "Could we go in? And could Yagura get a check up?"

Kyoko smiled, "Of course, check ups are free. It's the medicine and the glasses that you have to pay for."

Mei, "Well if it's for free, could we all get it done?"

Kyoko, "Sure, come on! I know where Sasuke is around this time."

Sasuke had just finished his last log of paperwork when his room phone rang, "Uchiha Sasuke here."

Nurse Itome, :Naiko - san is here with the representatives of Mist, Sir.:

Sasuke raised his eyebrows, "Send them in. She does not come here nilly willy."

Nurse Itome, :Understood Sir.:

Sasuke stretched his arms, 'Okay, it could be worse. It could be another upstart Elder trying to talk him into marrying his daughter.'

Kyoko knocked, "Sasuke, you free?"

Sasuke, "Yes, come in. I was taking a break from all the paperwork. What brings you here? I thought you were showing them around the village."

Kyoko, "I was and I may have bragged about your achievements a bit and now we are here."

Isobu, "Could you give Yagura - kun a check up, please?"

Sasuke sat up, "Oh? Of course. What's the problem?"

Yagura, "Isobu - san, I am alright."

Isobu huffed, "No you are not. Do not think I did not notice you squint while reading the reports you get."

Sasuke, "I see, please have a seat, Yagura - san. This will not take long."

Yagura reluctantly sat down on the seat offered as Sasuke sat opposite of him with a check light on his hand. He started the normal procedure of checking the reaction of the eye pupil to the light first. Then Sasuke pointed at a board and requested Yagura repeat the words written on the wall. Despite his confusion Yagura did as he was asked till he reached a point where he could not read the letters anymore and Sasuke nodded. He prescribed glasses and eye drops for Yagura making Isobu look relieved and at the same time guilty. Isobu explained that as a turtle he had weaker eye sight than his siblings and depended on his chakra to sense his enemies and Yagura probably was dealing with that side.

Yagura was quick to deny it saying there were many humans who wore glasses and it was normal for humans to lose sight. Sasuke nodded agreeing with Yagura and motioned the rest to take a seat too though Zabuza looked a little drunk. Haku's eyes were fine but Terumi Mei and Momoichi Zabuza were both suffering from stress and were prescribed eye drops to help their eyes to relax. Zabuza and Terumi were a bit bummed learning about their eye needing medicine but did not fuss about it. It was better than going blind without realizing it and it was a very interesting experience to go through. Mei was already planning on extending the hospitals back home as they returned to the hotel they were staying in.

Kakashi appeared in front of them, "I see you are enjoying yourselves."

Kyoko, "Sensei? Is everything okay?"

Kakashi, "Define okay."

Kyoko's eyebrows went up, "Is Naruto alright?"

Kakashi looked exasperated and amused, "Define alright."

Kyoko sighed nodding, "I shall leave you all now. Have a wonderful night."

Mei, "Of course Kyoko - chan. We appreciate your guide and care today."

Zabuza, "Go check on the other brat, kid. We will be fine."

Haku, "I hope you will come visit us in Mist soon, Kyoko - chan."

Yagura took Isobu back, "Thank you for sharing this idea with us."

Isobu chirped happily at Kyoko, "I look forward to seeing you in Mist."

Kyoko waved, "Me too. Good night everyone."

Kakashi walked away, "You seem to be enjoying giving them a tour."

Kyoko, "You were watching?"

Kakashi smiled, "From time to time, though I was keeping an eye on Naruto as well. He is not having a good time like you are between his two cousins."

Kyoko, "Oh! Karin - chan is here already?"

Kakashi, "Yes, turns out she strong armed her Kaze to let her come early so she can leave early."

Kyoko chuckled, "Somehow I can see her doing it. So, what's the problem?"

Kakashi, "As it turns out Grass and Rain do not get along too much, they do not hate each other but it does not mean they are friendly."

Kyoko had a look of comprehension, "Oh dear!"

Kakashi, "Yes, Karin - san and Nagato - san have been passive aggressive against each other. The Uzumaki hot headedness shining through."

Kyoko frowned, "Wait, wasn't Jiraiya with them? That Ero - Sannin had been looking at Nagato - san like he wanted to hug him and never let go."

Kakashi, "Oh, he had his fill of talking with Nagato - san before Karin - san appeared. Even after she appeared it was fine for a while."

Kyoko, "What happened then?"

Kakashi, "Well, Nagato wanted to talk to Naruto while Karin was talking to him and she did not like that."

Kyoko, "She was so happy to meet another Uzumaki back when we first met her though. I thought she would be happy to meet a third Uzumaki."

Kakashi, "She was in the beginning but then she and Naruto started talking about the healing seals and Nagato became curious. Naruto then started explaining what seals he was working on and I believe Karin got jealous of Naruto paying attention to Nagato more."

Kyoko (⁠゜⁠o⁠゜⁠; ), "Well, that is quite the intense reaction."

Kakashi, "Karin made a remark about how Nagato's chakra was cold compared to Naruto's chakra and they started their quarrel. Jiraiya took that as a queue to hightail it out of there, sighting he had promised Godaime to look into something."

Kyoko, "He just did not want to deal with two Uzumakis fighting over one."

Kakashi, "More like he did not want to be caught between the crossfire of two hot headed Uzumakis. Naruto - kun had his hands full trying to keep them from destroying each other."

Kyoko, "Where is he?"

Kakashi, "He should be here soon, I believe he was escorting them to their hotels earlier."

Kyoko looked around, "There he is. Naruto! Over here!"

Naruto looked exhausted, "Nee - chan, remind me to keep hot heads away from each other."

Kyoko pat his back, "Come on! Let's go home. I believe this week is my turn to have a sleepover."

Naruto, "With butterscotch ice cream?"

Kyoko grinned, "You can have all the butterscotch ice cream in the world."

Kakashi, "You three enjoy your sleepover. I still have patrol to deal with."

Kyoko, "I will keep a futon out for you to join in after patrol."

Kakashi ruffled her hair, "Of course kiddo. Of course!"

Unknown to them, they were being watched by a certain orange masked shinobi who was gritting his teeth on seeing Kakashi happy. He had actually planned on entering with Nagato but that idea had to be dropped especially with the Uchiha and Hyuuga guards working together around the Hokage tower. He had waited outside only to see Nagato being very chummy with the nine tailed fox's Jinchuriki as the blond introduced himself. The girl he had come to keep an eye on had left with the Mist delegates and he was torn between following her or the blond Jinchuriki. He had decided on the girl as he knew Nagato would share information on the blond later when asked.

The girl was something else, if the S - ranked nin did not know better he would have thought she was using the sharingan on Isobu. The man was fuming inside, he had been very close to getting the three tailed beast but something happened and Yagura had escaped from his control. He had tried to gain control again but this time the three tails Jinchuriki had been wary of illusions and it was impossible. It had driven him up the wall to learn Zabuza of all people had figured out how to break the well crafted illusion he had created. Now, that little girl was getting chummy with Isobu and advising them to increase the power of their Navy.

Kyoko, "Hmm."

Naruto, "Something wrong nee - chan?"

Kyoko, "I feel like someone out there is cursing me."

Sasuke who returned from his shift raised an eyebrow, "You did piss off a couple of S - ranked nin Koko - tan."

Naruto nodded, "Yeah, though it was funny."

Kyoko, "Yeah, you are probably right.'

Nagato was in his room, "Come out Tobi."

Tobi, "Nagato - kun had a lot of fun today. Nagato - kun made Tobi jealous."

Nagato, "It was work, Tobi. You know that. So, what did you learn?"

Tobi, "That girl, she is a danger to our plan but I don't think we can just approach her."

Nagato, "Why not? She is just a Kunoichi."

Tobi, "Who is adored by every Kunoichi in this village, adored by multiple tailed beasts and adored by your own cousins and the leaders. It will not be easy to approach her."

Nagato, "I had thought as much."

Tobi, "What of your cousin?"

Nagato, "He is sunshine. I would like to make him join us voluntarily."

Tobi, "You enjoyed his company."

Nagato, "A seal Master of his own right and talent. Of course I did."

Tobi, "Very well, I will make some changes to our plan."

Konan watched the other go, "I do not trust him Nagato."

Nagato, "I understand Konan but we do not have much choice at the moment."

Konan, "Do we have to kill Naruto - kun though?"

Nagato smiled, "You like him too."

Konan gave a small smile, "He reminds me of Yahiko."
