Kyoko in Naruto Shippuden

Kakashi hummed as he checked the area where Gaara had last battled the two S - class nins according to the eye witnesses. From their accounts, the two shinobi who attacked Gaara were Deidara the mad bomber and Sasori the Doll Master. Kakashi then took out his Rinnengan and started to look at the area through that eye and saw the chakra residue left behind. The large amount made him give an impressed whistle and Kakashi started to use the Rinnengan to look through the chakra residue. The silver haired man had a rough idea of what happened in the fight and found a trace of chakra that led to the West side.

Kakashi hummed happily, "Found it."

Tachiba looked at where Kakashi was, "Hatake - san?"

Kakashi, "Let's return for now. I know which way they left. Pak - kun, could you take over tracking?"

Pak - kun appeared from a seal in his arms courtesy of Naruto, "Arf! You don't even have to ask. I want those special biscuits."

Kakashi chuckled, "I am sure Koko - tan has those biscuits with her."

Pak - kun nodded, "See ya!"

Tachiba, "That's the infamous Pak - kun?"

Kakashi chuckled, "Yes, let me guess, you heard those rumours about Pak - kun?"

Tachiba nodded, "Yes, I heard he was a powerful summon so.... "

Kakashi, "Rather than powerful I would say he is clever and cunning."

Kakashi started to head back to Suna planning out their new move while Tachiba was giving orders to his subordinates. Kakashi entered the hospital and headed directly to where Sasuke was helping create more anti - poison with the nurses. Naruto was in another room creating his medic based seals for Suna medics, Temari had apparently given him a contract with a tall order. Kyoko was with the patients making sure, read subtly threatening them to stay put. The last one made the silver haired Jounin giggle, his little Kunoichi may look cute and sweet but she was a demon when it came to health. Kakashi observed them for a while and after noticing Naruto had already fulfilled half of the order called them for a meeting.

Kyoko, "Sensei, I suppose you found something?"

Kakashi, "Correct, prepare yourselves we are heading out tomorrow."

Naruto, "Alright Sensei."

Sasuke, "I will pack up on as much anti - poison as possible. Though there is a strong possibility that Sasori will have other poisons."

Temari, "But wouldn't it be better to go as soon as possible?"

Tachiba sighed, "I understand your frustration Temari - hime, he is your baby brother. I have already ordered my subordinates to get ready and to increase the security."

Shikamaru nodded, "This will be the perfect time and chance for others to try and take advantage of Suna."

Kakashi, "You are correct. That is why we are going out early in the morning. It will be wiser to secure Suna first, that is what any leader would want."

Kyoko chuckled, "I think you mean, Gaara would be disappointed if Suna was left unprotected."

Temari mumbled, "That is true, Gaara has been working hard to make Suna better. He really likes your story, Aladdin where there is this super rich Kingdom called Agrabah."

Naruto pat her shoulder, "We will get Gaara onii - san back, Temari - aneki. Do not worry."

Temari, "When you guys say that, I feel like I can believe in miracles."

Kyoko watched the older teen almost an adult woman leave with the Nara who was trying to cheer her up by distracting her. It seemed to work a little bit as Temari gave the Nara a small smile which Kyoko noticed as she left to prepare as well. Naruto and Sasuke were planning on which seals to use, when they found Gaara, who would no doubt be in a very critical condition. The suspended animation seal or as Naruto liked to call it, the coma seal could stop Gaara's present wounds from getting worse but they would need to move fast. They knew Shukaku would have his own plans to keep himself and Gaara safe, but the chakra beast had warned them through Kyuubi there was only so much he could do stuck inside Gaara.

Meanwhile Deidara and Sasori had reached the Akatsuki hideout after a very turbulent day of travel. Both S - ranked shinobi looked exhausted and pissed off as they entered their secret base heading to the sacrifice chamber on the far end. During their travel to the base, Shukaku had acted up over and over again throwing sand at them despite Gaara being out cold because of the seal by Sasori. Sasori had been surprised but then felt the chakra of the one tailed beast in the sand, stopping Deidara from angering the beast more than it was. The doll Master had to create another seal to push the chakra down only for Shukaku to burn through the seal in one hour.

Deidara growled, "I thought the seal would keep them, out cold."

Sasori grumbled, "The seal keeps the Jinchuriki out cold. It does not affect the chakra beast."

Deidara screeched when another wave of sand fell on his head, "Well, do something, un. I swear to Kami, I am close to leaving him behind."

Sasori sighed, "We are almost at the base so preserver till then."

Deidara snarled and cursed under his breath about never going to look for another Jinchuriki ever again while Sasori sighed. The Doll Master was not listening and thinking about the young shinobi he had fought, one of the Jinchuriki's siblings. Sasori never thought there would be another doll user in Suna, especially after he had ransacked the place of that particular technique. Also those dolls, only two were human, others were a tiger, bear and a large python, Sasori was almost impressed. No, he was actually very impressed, that child despite not having access to the knowledge had figured out his own style. They reached the rest of the group where Deidara promptly handed the knocked out Jinchuriki to a man with a swirl mask and stormed off.

The man stared, "Tobi doesn't understand."

Sasori deadpanned, "The one tailed beast thinks Gaara is his son and is very protective of him."

The leader, "I see... That is a very interesting development."

Sasori was obviously exhausted and they could notice through his doll armor, "I am going to clean up as well. I feel sand in places I do not wish to feel."

Kisame snorted amused, "Figures the friend of those three weirdos would be weird too."

Orochimaru twitched, "Indeed!"

The woman beside the leader stared at them, "You mean the Jinchuriki of Konoha and his team?"

The leader then asked, "What can you tell us about them?"

Orochimaru, "The Jinchuriki brat is definitely of Uzumaki blood. His ideas and seals are something I would love to have my hands on."

The leader almost twitched at that information, "I see. What of his teammates?"

Kisame grinned viciously, "The girl is a genius. During the time we snooped around we found out she created her very own jutsus. The first one was when she was still in the Academy and the second is her infamous Sun healing technique."

Tobi squawked, "But she is a child."

Orochimaru raised a brow, "And? So what if she is?"

The leader, "What do you think of her?"

Orochimaru, "Personally, I find her very fascinating and I have this feeling she is insane."

Kisame muttered, "Yeah, I remember the look she sent me when I cleaved their clones in half. It was like staring at a demon in human flesh."

The leader spoke, "A very interesting description. What of the third member?"

Orochimaru tched, "Tsunade's precious student, Uchiha Sasuke."

Kisame chuckled, "Are you still angry they stole the Uchiha chick back?"

Orochimaru hissed at him, "Shut up little fish."

Kisame laughed, "Come now! You have to admit that it was impressive, you snake."

Tobi muttered, "Tobi needs time to think."

Deidara returned, "I am back, un. I swear that is the last time I go to Suna or anywhere near it."

Sasori appeared as well, "Agreed, for my own reasons."

The leader nodded at them then turned to Tobi who placed Gaara on the sacrificial pedestal. They were ready to perform the extraction ritual and combine the one tailed beast with the statue. They took their places and started to mutter and perform the seal to extract the tailed beast but were met with resistance. Sasori had told them the tailed beast was protective of Gaara which made the leader feel very annoyed. They had already failed at bringing the nine tailed beast a few years ago, failing to extract the one tailed beast now, was pretty much unacceptable. Orochimaru started to laugh when he realized what was happening and pointed at a very subtly glowing seal.

Orochimaru, "Look, that is the mark of the Uzumaki Jinchuriki."

Kisame leaned closer, "You are right, but I can feel the other two members chakra too."

Tobi was agitated, "Tobi does not like them, they are ruining Tobi's fun."

The leader huffed, "We should have expected this. Their close relationship is well known in the political arena."

Deidara, "This is way too much trouble, un."

Sasori drawled, "Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around it?"

Orochimaru, "I have been studying the seals my subordinate grabbed before he fled Konoha. I might be able to figure it out."

Tobi, "Tobi wants to know too."

Orochimaru did not give a frustrated sigh at the man's behaviour, but then again it was not like any of them were actually sane. The snake Sannin had already accepted the fact that shinobi were insane and crazy a long time ago. He still remembers when Danzo had approached him with the idea of artificially inducing children with different kekkai genkai from various clans. Orochimaru had laughed hard and long when he heard Danzo had been caught conspiring against the Sandaime, apparently there was proof he killed Biwako - san. Orochimaru had been angry when he heard there was undeniable proof as Biwako had been one of the few people who were kind towards him. He may have not been happy with his Sensei but Biwako had always been willing to listen to him.

Orochimaru had laughed even harder when his little spy had informed him it was the actions of a civilian that started his downfall. Karma was no doubt a beautiful and cruel thing, Danzo kidnapped and used civilian children and a civilian child started his downfall. When Orochimaru had established the village hidden in Sound, he had done so in order to lower the karma for his own actions against the innocent. He was not a man of superstitions but it never hurt to be careful, he left most of the care and training to Kabuto. The silver haired man seemed to enjoy caring for the young brats unlike him who did not want any unless it was to test something. Orochimaru found it amusing how the orphans always offered themselves to him as lab rats just to have power.

Kisame, "Anything?"

Orochimaru, "I have an idea on how to get rid of it. I will need your sword as well."

Tobi giggled but it was ignored by the rest who wanted to get the extraction on the road. They gathered once again and watched as Orochimaru called for Nature chakra which surprised and yet did not surprise them. Of course, the snake Sannin would learn new things himself if he was presented with new ideas and a dangerous future opponent. Tobi was watching with sharp eyes as Orochimaru used the natural chakra to open a path for Samehada to cut through. The last few years Tobi had not used the sharingan not because he could not but because he no longer had a sharingan. What Tobi had now was the Rinnengan in his eye, which shocked him when he first realized the change in chakra flow. He had a suspicion it had something to do with Kakashi who had his other eye.

Tobi narrowed his remaining eye, 'I have a strange feeling. Perhaps I should go spy on my ex - teammate again.'

Kisame, "Done!"

The only woman huffed, "Good, we can stop wasting time and get the extraction done."

Another member beside her, "It's almost morning too. Damn brats are costing me even though they are not here."

Another one beside him laughed, "I want to sacrifice them to Lord Jashin, my Lord is very interested in them."

The leader cleared his throat looking annoyed, "Let us begin."
