Shisui had been observing the girl in the dango shop while talking with his baby cousin. He knew she was listening even though all of her directions were delayed, she may have been more entertained by her dango than the conversation, but she was also always listening. What a productive little brat. It’s not like anything she heard before leaving would get him or Itachi in trouble. Might as well let it slide.
Crow meets Butterfly when temporarily with Ro Squad to help with a chained mission run. 13 assassinations, 24 sabotages across the elemental nations in under 6 months with an average of 4 days to complete each mission along with gathering plenty of useful Information to send back to Intelligence when they get back. Squad Ro was truly exemplary.
Shisui meets Butterfly when he is 19, he had once heard from the father of one of her teammates that his son now had a collection of Origami because one of his teammates kept handing them off to be raised as pets of all things. Shisui took this to mean young newly teenager Miho had at one point decided to infuriate one of her teammates and kept doing it to this day. He of course tracked down the best paper for Origami in Konoha and set out to befriend a 15 year old that could potentially be a great ally.
Itachi is sick, Shisui doesn’t know how to help him… but he watches a teenager hunt down the greatest healer in the world and thinks about how right he was. He watches a teenager hunt down the Last Senju to heal the Uchiha heir and thinks how great it is to have a friend who cares.
Itachi is on Hokage duty when Miho pulls everyone into her Genjutsu. She hadn’t even needed to be told his plans before she completed them all on her own.
