And they're singing your praises, la-la-la screaming your name out lo-lo-loud
One more step, you're immortal now,
'Cause once you play god,
Once you play god
They're gonna crumble one by one
Then we gon' ride right into the sun Like it's the day my kingdom come
The being looked at the little people in the room, its aura filled with mockery at what it was about to present.
As a being of chaos, causing discord was what he loved most, and he knew perfectly well that discord was what he needed if he wanted to gain strength and ultimately spread his power throughout the universes.
From gods to the simplest of mortals, they would feed him and give him what he needed to finally put an end to his enemies. He looked at the so-called gods and laughed, those little gods didn't know that they were just an ant under a compass in the grand scheme of things.
All of them were blind to what lived beyond the stars and solar systems they knew. Not even those with knowledge of the multiverse had any idea of the kind of terrors that inhabited the world. Even he was surprised to see the kind of multiversal crossover that his brother was hiding.
The Emperor of Mankind in that dark galaxy with his twenty Primarchs, much more powerful, intelligent, and loyal than the originals, promised a story worth appreciating. It was much better when the Primarchs were from different universes. This was a recipe for total chaos.
So he would teach them, and the chaos that such revelations would bring would be the most beautiful thing he had ever seen since he gained consciousness.
The immense room where they were was nothing less than an immense theater with many comfortable black chairs placed around an immense white screen that at that moment showed nothing, and was about to show, from what they were told, a different reality.
“For them to bring so many people, they forgot our brother.” A confused Aegon Targaryen commented to his sister, Helaena Targaryen. “They even brought Rhaenyra and her bastard duo.”
Alicent Hightower was so distressed looking for her second son everywhere without being able to see him among the sea of people of different heights and colors, that she ignored the crude words of her eldest son.
“Relax, mother. There must be a reason why he's not here.” Daeron Targaryen's voice brought her back. Alicent smiled at him and nodded, still nervous. She wanted her four children with her, but decided to hope and pray that Aemond was okay, or heads would start rolling.
Beside her, Rhaenyra Targaryen watched lost what was happening around her with Daemon Targaryen, and her two bastard children, Jacaerys and Lucerys Targaryen. Beside her was the weak dragon and king, Viserys Targaryen.
“It would have been better if the halfbloods weren't here.” Daemon commented mockingly, looking at the Hightowers, who were somewhat far away from them.
On the other hand, Senju Tobirama was trying to get his older brother off of him.
“Act like the adult you are, Hashirama!” He yelled at him in a deep voice, tired of how childish he was even when they were clearly in a place that was not safe.
And he didn't say that because he was surrounded by so many Uchiha.
“Tobirama.” Hashirama complained, dragging out his name and causing his brother to ignore him.
Elsewhere, Poseidon felt disgusted at having to share air with so much scum, and his unhappy face was obvious to Hades, who sighed.
“Just ignore them, brother.” He try to calm him down, wanting to avoid any fight in a place where a strange being was capable of kidnapping so many gods.
“I wonder what we will see.” He heard Odin's indifferent voice, without his two annoying pets.
“I hope it's entertaining if they brought me here with so many humans.” Zeus's voice was full of disgust, even though he had a smile on his ancient face.
Hades understood where his brother was coming from, there was pure human in the room, but he, like all the few gods present, knew that things were not that simple. Many of the mortals in the room had immense power, and Hades is not afraid to say that several equal or surpass a god. He knew that Brunhilde was surely thinking about how to take as many as possible for the Ragnarok that had been paused.
And indeed, the Valkyrie watched almost with drool coming out of her mouth as she could literally feel the power of several beings that were present.
“Where the hell is the lackey?” Reborn asked from another corner in a voice that clearly showed how angry he was, even if his face didn't show it.
“I can't see him, but I would love to know where our Cloud is.” Fon's smile couldn't be more fake.
Reborn narrowed his eyes at Fon's possessive words, and at the clear absence of the Cloud Arcobaleno.
“Wow! There are so many people here!” The bald Four Elements Master exclaimed elsewhere, ignoring several auras filled with hostility.
Aang's excited voice was enough to snap Iroh out of his reverie, worried about his little nephew that he couldn't see. He was even able to see Ozai and Azula, but not his favorite nephew.
“And none of them are Zuko.” Sokka growled when he couldn't see the firebender and one of his best friends.
In another corner was Levi Ackerman with a small group of soldiers, all confused as to why they were there and where the protagonist of their pain was at that moment, the Founding Titan Eren Jaeger.
“We can imagine that he will be in what it is about to be shown in that screen.” Armin said to Mikasa, who seemed distressed looking for Eren.
Sierra Agriche closed her eyes, nervous. She was one hundred percent sure that among everyone, she was the weakest, even weaker than that beautiful blonde woman with only leaves covering her private parts. She supposed she shouldn’t be afraid, her family was with her.
The confused murmurs continued, many confused as to what exactly brought them here and why they wanted to show them whatever it was they were about to show them. The most powerful knew that there was something quite suspicious, given that the being was extremely powerful and ancient. However, even their hands were tied.
No one thought about keeping quiet for a long time, until the screen lit up and a deep but exquisite male voice was heard.
“They shall be my sons, and in them will live the hopes of a unified Humanity. Theirs will be the strength to prevail, not only when victory lies within easy reach, but even when it seems unattainable, when doom settles like a shroud all about. In those times of darkness, my noble sons will shine the brightest of all.”
At the words that were heard, people quickly paid attention and sat in their seats, sitting as close as possible to those they knew. Everyone had listened carefully to the words, enigmatic and confusing, seeming to speak of almost divine beings.
Kibutsuji Muzan narrowed his eyes at the words spoken. A unified humanity? He almost wanted to laugh at the impossibility of that thought. Humans were too conflicted to accept such peace and unification just like that.
And he wasn't the only one, because even Rengoku Kyojuru scoffed slightly at that impossible thought. Although he loved humanity, he accepted the fact that it was too complex and different to be unified under a single flag.
"Noble sons?" Lant Agriche narrowed his eyes and a slight smile left his lips, curious above all about the children being talked about on the screen. After all, he was an expert at raising his children to be weapons.
The Primarchs were the twenty genetically modified "children" of the Emperor.
"What?" Bruce Banner's voice was immediately heard.
"Genetically modified? How? With what technology?" Verde asked excitedly, since he had not yet reached such progress as to modify humans or create them.
Bruce Wayne couldn't deny that he was now much more interested in the reason why he was there. He knew very well of the existence of other worlds, and he knew very well that he knew of an equally genetically modified being, but it was the only successful one, Conner Kent, the clone of Superman.
Lex Luthor smiled maliciously remembering his most successful and powerful clone, with powers that Superman did not have and that even surpassed him.
"Emperor?" Alberu Crossman murmured, his ears perked before the monarch. "How interesting."
It was interesting because what kind of Emperor was in power and what kind of world it was that he had so much power to create twenty beings out of nothing.
The Emperor used his own DNA in their creation, and they were designed to be far superior to the average human: immensely larger, stronger, tougher, faster, and smarter.
Kokushibo tilted his head, interested. When he was still a human and his brother was the all-powerful enemy of the demons, he decided to abandon his humanity to become a demon and obtain everything the screen said; strength, speed and power. He did it, but even so he was surpassed by his twin.
Alexander Anderson was also interested in the superiority that was explained, being himself a genetically modified human, capable of standing toe to toe against the Nosferatu himself.
Eruhaben, as the only adult dragon from his world who was present, was quite intrigued. It was not unusual to see strong humans, Choi Han was an example, but it was very interesting the way they were being described. Like more than human.
Bruce Banner smiled, certain that if Tony was around, he would be interested in this intriguing form of technology that he had yet to touch. His partner in science would surely not sleep until he became an expert.
But Tobirama, as a scientist, was more focused on the fact that the Emperor's DNA was used to create the twenty Primarchs. Doesn't that mean that the Emperor himself had super-human powers? What kind of being was the Emperor? Was he human or another superior race?
Likewise, most of them were incredibly charismatic, since their main mission was to be generals and lead the imperial armies.
Obi-Wan Kenobi sighed somewhat nostalgically. His former Padawan and now Sith, Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader, had been an incredible general. His clones had adored him as much as he had adored them. The entire galaxy had worshiped him, the face of the war that shone with the intensity of a thousand suns in the Force. Until he fell to the Dark Side and the entire galaxy burned because of it.
Tobirama's mind went to Uchiha Madara, the most important Uchiha, who also was absent. Despite how much he hated him, he did not deny that he was an efficient leader who did his best for his Clan before being banished and killed by his brother. A shinobi with a chakra as bright as a star.
Choi Han thought of his benefactor, Cale Henituse. In his eyes, and in the long years of his life, there was no better leader than that redhead. His plans were always effective and left the enemy in a terrible state. Cale did everything possible so that no one in his army died, and even so, he made the enemy suffer. His cruel and calculating mind is one reason he became the Commander.
The Primarchs were raised to be perfect generals, warriors and statesmen.
Daemon settled into his seat, curious as to what kind of war was breaking out that this Emperor had to create twenty beings so powerful and so ready for war. It must have been an immense war if he had to create twenty beings of immense power and charisma who would lead his soldiers.
"He is creating war masters." Azula was heard saying, curious and anxious at the war that was showing itself in pieces.
Deon Agriche felt slightly identified with the upbringing of the Primarchs. He doesn't know how effective or how cruel the Emperor was, but he planned to do what Lant did to them and create weapons against the world to protect his interests.
They had a powerful charisma and martial skill that turned them into mythical gods of old, untouchable by illness, old age or supposedly the small defects of inferior men.
"Ah, so I was right." Eruhaben commented when he saw that in effect, the Emperor was creating beings that would be more than human, they would be worshiped as gods and would have the strength to back it up.
"What we needed, a disgusting human playing at being god." Odin commented.
Odin raised an eyebrow, disgusted that a mere human, a mere Emperor, would dare to create gods based on his own blood. He shouldn't have been surprised, humans always wanted to play at being gods with their actions. That Emperor was just one of them who acted as if he was not part of those inferior men.
The problem was that Odin still did not understand that the Emperor was not a simple human, he was a god to trillions of people even though he claimed to be a human. Odin did not yet understand that the world he was about to see and understand went beyond his imagination, and would show him that the gods are not the most powerful.
"Reminds me of someone quite clever." Zhuge Changfeng smiled behind his pretty white feather fan, remembering Zhuo Yifan, the cruel but charismatic young man who seemed to be playing with all of humanity like a master puppeteer. He had the charisma and talent for deception to trap his victims in his networks. On top of that, he seemed to have aces up his sleeve.
Baek Cheon felt a headache arise as he remembered Chung Myung. The young man was a damn pain in the ass, but no one in the Sect would ever deny the charisma he had and the calculating mind he used to gain allies on behalf of the Mount Hua Sect. Chung Myung was a being that seemed to be beyond the reach of all of them, with his immense power and knowledge. The young master did not doubt that no matter where he was, Chung Myung would make his name resonate.
Each embodied an aspect of war; one was the greatest strategist ever known, another the personification of the terror of war, a third the master of psychic powers, a fourth the greatest practitioner of the arts of fortification, and so on.
"If that demon is not the strategist, then that Emperor does not deserve him." Huangpu Qianyun commented, crossing his muscular arms.
Huangpu Qiantian nodded, agreeing with his younger brother, and thought of his worst enemy and his greatest opponent. Although he was proud, he had to accept that he lost to Zhuo Yifan, and that was why when the words spoke of a master strategist, he thought of that thin and small youth. With his grip on the world, Zhuo Yifan was surely the greatest strategist the world will ever see. With him at their side, there was no way that side would lose.
Sinbad thought of the Magi, and his mind went to the rebellious and dark Magi of the Kou Empire, Judar. As Magi, he was a being of magic capable of changing the world. Magic for Judar came easily, and more than once it caused immense terror in battle.
"He would have a master of magic with the Magi at his side." Solomon commented, as if he had heard his thoughts.
Hange Zoe immediately thought of Eren when she heard the word terror. She had never been able to imagine that that suicidal boy would become such a terrifying man with such a cold and cruel mind. Of all of them, she thought that he would be the happiest to know that there are more humans, that there is a world out there. She must have known that Eren was not a man that simple.
Fushiguro Megumi frowned as the image of his tall and handsome Sensei appeared in his mind (no matter how much it bothered him him, he wasn't going to deny that Gojo Satoru was terrifyingly beautiful). His Sensei was a terror in battle not only because of his annoying arrogance, but because he could back up his arrogance by being literally untouchable by his enemies. His Sensei did what he wanted and was arrogant, but if he has to finish off his enemy, he would.
The Primarchs were the Emperor's answer to reclaiming all of Mankind's lost worlds and welcoming them into his new Empire.
"I wonder how big that empire is if it talks about lost worlds?" Peter Quill asked, his look serious and even somewhat terrifying. Understandable given that he did not have his crew with him and they were showing the story of twenty almost divine beings.
"Could it be the galaxy?" Mace Windu whispered with some terror, remembering how even as a ghost he was able to see what the Dark Side of the Force turned into the galaxy after it fell into the hands of the Sith. For the sake of many, he hoped that the range of that Emperor's empire was not so great. And if it was, he hoped things were better.
Shirohige growled slightly at the thought that the Emperor had decided to have children just to use them in his war against an enemy not yet introduced. Although he was not going to deny that he brought his sons to fight, he had not accepted them into his crew for something as cruel as war. His family was always his greatest treasure.
The Emperor intended to raise his sons to be the greatest military commanders and political leaders humanity has ever known,
Sebastian Michaelis was not at all happy that his master was not by his side, and having to endure being surrounded by so much rabble, but he recognized that as an Earl, when it came to politics, Ciel would be of help.
Clopeh Sekka nodded quickly, agreeing with every word said, for the legend, Cale Henituse, was an excellent commander and a better dealmaker who would reap all the gains without giving much in return, clearly gaining the upper hand in the deal.
"I can't deny that Tony would be quite useful as a politician." Natasha wasn't happy to admit it, but as the heir and later leader to such a powerful company, Tony was used to playing with politicians and negotiating to get the upper hand. He knew how to swim in an ocean full of sharks without revealing that he was the most dangerous shark until it was too late.
"Aemond wouldn't have it so bad, I suppose." Aegon said to his mother, who nodded somewhat doubtfully. Of all her children, Aemond was the most politically competent, spending his childhood with his nose in books she had never even seen Rhaenyra read.
and they would carry the Imperial Truth to the rest of the human-inhabited galaxies in their father's name.
As a religious woman, Alicent understood better than anyone that the Truth it spoke of was a religion, or would become one. Humans used to hold on to a belief to live day to day and to pray to something just to maintain hope. She had met many who did not believe in the Seven, yet she would later see them pray for a loved one to be healed or to help them in battle.
Hades raised an eyebrow at how very Jesus and his Disciples the Emperor's idea sounded. Clearly, his children would not only be his generals but also those who would spread the greatness of his empire and his power. Those who would keep humanity under his power.
The massive scientific effort to create the Primarchs after the end of the Unification Wars in the 30th Millennium became known as the Primarch Project.
"30th Millennium?!" Hal Jordan shouted, causing several around him to jump. “How far into the future is that?”
Poseidon wanted to impale him with his trident for shouting, but Hades put a hand on his arm and although he didn't exactly calm him down, he prevented a massacre.
Steve Rogers was curious about that massive time jump. It almost felt like when he had woken up after seventy years in a new world that continued without him, with new technology and new cultures that he had never heard of.
The entire room rose in murmurs and conversations, everyone incredibly curious and even somewhat stunned by the incredible jump in time. Many were still in the 3rd millennium and that world spoke of the 30th. It was thousands and thousands of years in the future, but they finally understood why the Emperor spoke of worlds and technology capable of creating twenty beings successfully. By the 30th millennium, it was more than clear that humanity had left its solar system behind to expand its clutches to other worlds.
"Rao." Clark whispered, not believing what he had just heard. “Things must be so different.”
"Their technology must be very interesting." Bruce Wayne commented, eager to see more. He wanted to know what technology there was.
And he wasn't the only one, as Bruce Banner was even more curious, eager for Tony to be by his side just so they could talk about ideas that were surely possible in that millennium. The technology must have been so advanced that it should be a dream for someone like the genius.
Luffy didn't really understand what was going on, but he knew that Frank was some kind of scientist or something, and that seeing new technology would make him happy. Luffy squinted his eyes at the screen, one of those people on the screen would be part of his crew.
The Primarchs were created in a secret facility in the Himalayan mountains on Terra under the strictest security.
"Terra?" Tanjiro asked confused.
"Terra means land. Most likely it is talking about Planet Earth in our solar system." Alexander answered, earning a shy smile from the young slayer.
Several looked at them confused, because they did not live in a place called Terra or Planet Earth. Then many understood that in short, they lived in totally different worlds if many were surprised by Planet Earth.
"This is getting more and more interesting." Roxana Agriche smiled.
According to Ingethel the Ascended, the Primarchs were created by the Emperor with the aid of forbidden sciences and arcane knowledge derived from the Warp.
"Who the hell is this Ingethel person?" Jo Gul asked, knowing that he will not receive an answer because no one knew who she was either.
"Forbidden sciences?" The powerful Arba's eyes shone at the mention of surely dark sciences.
But it was that that worried Iroh and others present, fearful of what forbidden sciences they spoke of and how powerful they were in such an advanced millennium.
"What is the Warp?" Padme Amidala whispered, obviously without receiving a response even though several, thanks to their keen senses, heard her. But that was what worried the queen, wondering if that was the same as the Force.
Roxana Agriche was, like her father, the only ones in her family who were curious about these forbidden sciences used to literally create humans without the need for sexual relations.
Eldrad Ulthran also claims that the Emperor used dark powers to build the Primarchs.
"We know he used more than just his DNA." Verde said. "What else did he use? I want to know more."
The other Arcobalenos did nothing to stop Verde's thirst, they themselves were somewhat curious as to what else he used besides his own DNA.
Hange Zoé ignored the furious look Levi was giving her and bounced in her seat, excited to find out more. She wanted to know everything that universe had as technology.
Undertaker was curious, remembering his little Lord Sirius, created from a doll. He wondered if the Emperor had similarly touched what he touched when he brought back the young Phantomhive.
Lex Luthor tilted his head, interested even more. As the creator of his own genetically modified being, he knows that he used different DNAs to create a stable clone. However, it was clear that the Emperor had used much more to create his children. Lex noted that the Emperor was creating gods, not mere humans.
The genetic material of the powerful Perpetual Erda was used in the creation of the Primarchs and she viewed them as her "children".
"Perpetual? What's that?" Toji asked in a slight murmur.
"Doesn't perpetual mean eternal?" Qin Shi Huang asked himself, more interested.
"So, this Erda girl is immortal?" White Star asked with a sparkle in his eyes.
"Does immortality exist there?" Integra asked, knowing that not even Alucard was eternal.
The entire room had been listening and thoughts had been raised by the idea that immortality was something real and accessible in that world. And their surprise was understandable given that many in the room were humans, immortality was just a wish. Others were creatures and even gods thousands of years old.
The Emperor's use of this knowledge meant that the Primarchs were meant to be designed both spiritually and physically and may explain why they possessed so much magnetism and personal charisma beyond what even their enhanced genetics could predict.
Shirohige could understand the idea behind it. A leader not only needed to be powerful, they needed to have the charisma and something to bring people to their side. A leader had to be a being capable of leading their soldiers in a way that inspired loyalty and strength.
Choi Han nodded in agreement, thinking of Cale, the Commander of the Northeast Region of the Roan Empire. No one really followed Cale because of his power, they followed him because of his intelligence, his cunning, and his leadership. Cale led his people firmly and took the lead, always making sure not to lose soldiers and to be the first to be ready for battle.
The Uchihas of the future did not know Uchiha Madara, in fact, no one knew him as much as his late brother or Hashirama. But if there was one thing Tobirama would admit it was that Madara was a leader. Not one to hide behind his own, he was the first to jump into battle and protect his Clan as much as possible. From what he understood, the Clan had decided on him as Head even before the death of his older brothers.
Adam did not know how to feel about the creation of the Primarchs or even the Emperor himself. They were humans, from what has been shown, but they seemed more like gods or even demigods, with their genetics modified and with other types of sciences included in the creation of the known twenty Primarchs. If they are humans, they are his children, and Adam wondered why humans could never be at peace and must always destroy themselves without knowing how much that hurt him.
But such arcane techniques also meant that the Primarchs were unusually vulnerable to the effects of Chaos,
The gods were the ones who paid attention, even Poseidon himself. Chaos was the creator of everything, the most powerful being that has existed since the beginning of everything. The fact that those humans were connected to Chaos or his powers was of interest and disgust to them. Was Chaos giving preference to the inferior beings that were human beings?
as their souls shone brightly in the Immaterium and attracted the attention of demonic entities like moths to a candle flame.
The ears of those in the world of demons versus slayers opened. By now, with the knowledge of other universes, they knew that the existence of other demons was nothing strange, but they were curious about what those demons were like. Were they as powerful or more powerful than Muzan? Did they die in the Sun? How could they be killed? Were they hunted like the Pillars hunted them?
Sebastian smiled interestedly, his eyes taking on an unearthly glow as evidence that he was not a human. As a thousands-year-old demon, the concept of multiverses was not foreign to him, but it is not as if he had seen demonic forces other than those of his world. His curiosity was definitely evident.
Natasha was a spy, she knew better than anyone that camouflage was part of the job, so she found it interesting that the Emperor, knowing the strength of the Primarchs was so powerful that they could be easy to find, had still allowed that when the Primarchs were a secret project.
Mace Windu thought of Anakin Skywalker, a being who shone so brightly in the Force that it was as if he walked with a light stuck on his head announcing where he was. No matter how hard he tried, Anakin was always unable to hide how powerful he was in the Force and how much the Force loved surrounding Skywalker. If the Primarchs shone like Anakin, hiding them would be impossible.
This is why the Emperor carefully inscribed arcane glyphs of protection into the gestation capsules of the Primarchs and created the most powerful Gellar Field ever created around the gene vault deep within the Imperial Palace in the Himalayan Mountains where they were created.
The scientists in the room had questions about electronic devices they didn't know about but were mentioned, without explaining their function, causing more questions and interest.
Adam and Shirohige, like the good parents they were, were satisfied that the Emperor did in fact do his best to protect his unborn children who were not yet born and could not defend themselves. At least he wasn't cruel, but it's not like they had seen enough about him to know what kind of man the Emperor was, or even what empire he was the Emperor of.
Natasha nodded in satisfaction, the Emperor had indeed camouflaged his powerful children.
Unfortunately, this protection proved insufficient,
Several were on the edge of their seats, eager to know what would happen to the Primarchs, and to the Emperor's plans.
Adam and Eve were worried about their children, those technologically advanced humans whom they did not yet know or see.
as the Ruinous Powers learned of the Emperor's plans and the existence of the Primarch Project and managed to abduct them through the Warp just before their maturation.
"But what is the Warp?" Hange pushed further, wanting to know what it was and how it was possible to abduct the Primarchs.
"The most curious thing is how they managed to take the Primarchs." Jang Ilso smiled, his long legs crossed without any interest, ignoring the angry looks of the companions from his own universe.
"That is the question. After all, the Emperor seems to be very powerful and did a lot to hide them. How were they found so easily?" Zhuge Changfeng asked with a cold smile.
"What the hell are the Ruinous Powers?" Barry Allen asked.
"I think it speaks of Chaos." Lois Lane responded.
For the inhabitants of the room, there were more questions than answers. And the only way to get those answers was to observe as much as the being that brought them would allow them.
These were scattered throughout the galaxy,
Jango Fett made a curious sound as he heard that they were scattered throughout the galaxy.
"The Galaxy? They were spread throughout the galaxy?" Clint asked in shock. “It will be impossible to find them!”
Padme Amidala looked at the man who screamed and sighed, understanding where the man's anguish came from. She understood very well how complicated it would be to find twenty children scattered throughout an entire galaxy, that was without taking into account that it was not known how large the galaxy where the Emperor resided was.
Integra wished to be able to smoke.
beyond the reach of the Emperor, and each one landed on a different world.
Colonello cursed under his breath. He was sure that finding the Primarchs would take many years, and once they were found, nothing would ensure that the Emperor's plans would be realized. Whatever plans those were.
Katara put her hands over her mouth, distraught at how the Emperor must feel to see that he had lost his children, and worse yet, that they had been separated and spread out like it was nothing.
Shirohige tensed upon hearing that the Emperor was separated from his children. As a father, he understood that it was an immense pain to lose his children.
Gestation pods containing the Emperor's unborn children were spread across the Warp to colonize planets long lost to Humanity.
"Wait what?" Uchiha Obito asked. "The goal is to conquer? How?"
"Now I have more questions." Alibaba complained.
"If they were separated from the Emperor, how come their mission is now to conquer human planets?" Itadori Yuuji asked.
Daemon only nodded slightly, pleased to see conquerors, remembering the history of his house.
Hades narrowed his eyes at the screen, suspicious that the Primarchs had been scattered to conquer humans. Was it a plan of the Emperor? But how if they were stolen from his hands? Could he have manipulated where they were sent? The King of the Underworld began to doubt the Emperor and his plans with his children even more.
It is not known for certain whether the Emperor was able to influence this outcome, but each Primarch landed on ancient worlds of men, planets long lost from the light of the greater universe beyond the stars.
Alberu wasn't sure either, but it was an immense coincidence that the Emperor spoke of unifying humanity and that his children were sent to worlds to conquer and surely unite the Emperor's empire.
And he wasn't the only one who thought things happened in a very coincidental way. All this adding the fact that at the end of the day, nothing had been explained about the Emperor, not even his appearance or what he ruled. They could get an idea that he ruled over humans and was probably trying to unify them like Qin Shi Huang unified China, but nothing was known for sure about him.
With that thought, for people like Indra, Itachi or Bruce, it was easy to begin to suspect the Emperor and that perhaps, things were not as simple as they appeared. And maybe, the Emperor wasn't so good.
This was a huge setback to the Emperor's plans. He had counted on his superhuman generals to lead his conquest army out of Terra.
Adam felt uncomfortable at the thought of the Emperor. The Emperor himself was his son due to being a human being, but he did not like at all how he spoke of his children, as if they were nothing more than a means to an end.
Tanjiro felt angry, remembering his loving parents and how much they gave for them. He found it cruel what the Emperor thought about his baby children who had been kidnapped.
Bruce was feeling conflicted. He was not going to deny that he has put his children in danger, opening the doors for them to join the world of crime to fight against incredibly powerful beings. However, he loved every one of them and just because he didn't show it that often, didn't mean he didn't love them, whether they were adopted or biological children.
Lant did not take it into account, understanding very well the Emperor's thinking. He himself instilled that they would fight among themselves to show who was the best and who truly deserved to be his heir. He understood if the Emperor was frustrated at having created twenty special weapons only for them to be stolen.
Toji looked at his son and thought about his past actions. He wasn't the best father, not by a long shot, but he thought that at least he left his son in the hands of the most powerful sorcerer who protected and raised him, already observing how big Megumi was. Apparently, he loved his son more than he thought.
Without them, his plans, which had been brewing for so many millennia, were on a knife's edge. He needed an advantage, something to give Humanity an advantage as they once again faced a very hostile universe.
The White Star thought about his own plans, ones that he had conceived for hundreds of years and understood the Emperor. It was annoying having to go around the plans he had spent years planning. He thought of the red-haired commander and smiled.
Obi-Wan thought about Darth Sidious and his clones, and he thought he knew what the Emperor would do next. After all, every empire and every monarch needed an army to defend its own.
Deprived of the Emperor's care and guidance, each developed a personality uniquely shaped (and sometimes damaged) by the difficult circumstances of their homeworlds.
Sinbad thought of Judar. Many times the Magi had cried only to then joke with him, mocking him for being weak and worrying about the enemy. However, shouldn't there have been some truth behind those tears and his words? Al-Thamen was not god's bread, he did not even want to imagine what they had to go through to get a Magi like Judar at their side.
Bruce thought about his own history, thinking about how much he changed after the death of his parents. How that incident changed him and caused the birth of Batman. Now, having gotten to where he was, he doesn't know if he would change anything about his past. After all, Batman wouldn't have been born.
Deon Agriche thought of his crazy and dangerous family, unique in his kingdom. No one in his world was like the Agriche, dangerous and murderous, capable of ending their own blood if they were ordered, just like when he murdered Ashil Agriche.
Mikasa thought about Eren, as always. Eren was always unique in his search for freedom, even before the death of his mother, but there is no doubt that Carla's death changed any peaceful desire in his heart, especially after seeing Marley's actions against the Island.
Alicent thought about her children, she was already a lost cause, but her children had paid for everything. Her Aegon, her sad Aegon on whom she always took it out and the one who suffered in silence. Her sweet Helaena, ignored and forgotten who sought refuge with her insects. Her cold Aemond, who grew tired and lost an eye due to being a Targaryen and taking a dragon, as he should. And her poor Daeron, forgotten and sent away from them.
Sebastian smiled thinking of his master. His Ciel, who after his enslavement abandoned heaven to do a deal with a demon and obtain revenge on his enemies. That delicious soul that awaited him at the end of this journey. He wasn't going to thank God, but he was thanking Satan for putting so much suffering in the path of his little Earl.
Qin Shi Huang remembered his childhood and everything that led him to become the famous unifier that he was. The hatred of the kingdom and the death of his teacher had all molded him into a powerful conqueror.
Iroh closed his eyes for his nephew. His sweet and gentle nephew who did not understand the cruelty of his father and sister, who had been burned for having defended his people. His nephew, who grew up to become a magnificent firebender who changed his nation.
The circumstances of life would always make a way for everyone and would always shape them.
They grew rapidly into adults (in some cases, within a few weeks),
"Ooohhh." Hange's rather macabre laugh was what was heard, earning a look of disgust from Levi.
"Ah." Lex thought of his clone, who had developed very quickly in a very short time.
Tang Gunak raised an eyebrow.
and they often rose to power, ruling, directing and helping the inhabitants of their planets.
Many in the room sighed.
"No wonder, that's what they were created for." Kaido growled.
Alberu thought along that line. Lead, govern and help. As a member of royalty, he felt the Noblesse Obligue toward his people, which is why he wanted to become his father's successor. Hearing how powerful the Primarchs were, he wondered if this was how they felt, with a duty to help those weaker.
Although the Emperor could sense that the infant Primarchs were alive, he was unable to reach them.
Mace Windu nodded slightly, thinking that surely the Emperor could sense them just as the Jedi could sense people in the Force glowing.
"How could he not reach them, wasn't his technology advanced?" Reborn asked with his eyes narrowed.
Many had the same question, but there was no answer.
Using the remaining samples of genetic material from each of his lost Primarchs, the Emperor created the first Astartes gene-seed,
Jango Fett clenched his jaw, thinking about the creation of the clones based on his genetics, the ones he had ignored and forgotten, even though they were modified. He directed his gaze to the screen, and wanted with all his might to know how the Primarchs reacted when they learned that beings had been created based on his genetics. Would they react like him, taking his clones only as cannon fodder?
Clark didn't know how to feel with so much DNA being used to create beings. He had not been, and was not, at all happy when that young man appeared in front of him claiming to be his clone. Although they looked alike, they were not identical, and yet, he had become so disgusted as to allow the clon to be called Kon-El, abomination.
Several in the room with more... evil tendencies were quite interested in the Emperor's next creation based on the DNA of his children.
stem cell zygotes from which genetically modified organs could be grown that, when implanted within a normal human host, would allow that man to take on many of the physical and mental properties that each Primarch possesses.
"So you can say that they will be powerful." Steve commented in a bitter voice.
The Emperor implanted these organs in his bravest, strongest and best human warriors, whom he intended to be at his side as the vanguard of the Great Crusade.
"Great Crusade?" Bruce Banner asked in shock.
"That doesn't sound good at all." Barry agreed.
"Why do you say that?" Marco the Phoenix asked curiously.
Several looked at the two men who had spoken to each other.
"In our world, what we know as the Crusades were a series of religious wars where persecutions were carried out against other religions." Bruce Banner answered with a grimace, not at all happy to tell such a dark story.
The gods present were not even surprised, already aware of that moment in history. Others, who did not have the same story, were surprised by such a story.
"So, those are the Emperor's plans?" Padme asked somewhat fearfully.
She received no response, and the silence said it all.
Thus were born the Legiones Astartes, the Space Marines, who would reconquer the galaxy for humanity under the command of the Master of Mankind.
Adam and Eve looked at each other in shock upon hearing the Emperor's plans. Without being able to understand how it is that he carried such a title as Master of Humanity.
"So those are his plans." Sukuna Ryomen laughed.
"That man is not afraid of ambition." Daemon laughed.
"Master of Mankind? Isn't anyone going to talk about that?" Seras Victoria asked, somewhat hysterical. "The man is the Emperor of Mankind! That's why he wants to unify it!"
And although they all came to the same conclusion, it sounded more real when she said it out loud.
"How did he get that title?" Vincent Phantomhive asked. "That's what interests me the most."
And everyone felt the same. Qin Shi Huang knew firsthand how difficult it was to unify a country, let alone all of humanity that was scattered throughout an entire galaxy. Many called him a tyrant, cruel, and dictator, understandable, since China was united on the basis of struggle and domination.
"I don't know how he managed to unify humanity, but it was not by peaceful means." Stated the Emperor of China.
And that was what Adam and Eve feared most.
Although an Astartes warrior was but a pale copy of their Primarch father,
"Understandable." Verde whispered.
Clearly those soldiers were not going to match the twenty Primarchs who came from the Emperor himself and from what seemed to be an immortal, adding to it other forms of science and what seemed to be magic or something like that.
the technique of implanting additional organs into humans allowed a certain degree of "mass production", and where the Emperor's 20 superhuman children had taken centuries to develop, the Astartes could now be designed and trained in a matter of a single Earth decade.
Daemon's eyes widened as he heard how quickly these warriors were produced, especially when in comparison, it took him ages to create the Primarchs.
"No wonder he needs so many soldiers, he is the Emperor of a humanity in the galaxy." Arba commented without further ado.
With humanity so spread out, a huge army was going to be needed to maintain their monarchy and to keep humanity safe from other hostile races, as the Emperor himself implied.
They lived in a hostile universe.
As the new interstellar human empire expanded during the Great Crusade, the Emperor used his powerful gifts of psychic foresight and precognition to locate his wayward children, scattered across the universe, and reunite them with their respective Space Marine Legions.
"Wait, does he see into the future? And he calls himself human?" Peter Quill asked, stunned.
Those present were beginning to doubt more and more that the Emperor, and the Primarchs, were human.
"Millennia have passed in their universe, they must be a superior human race." Brunhilde commented, a macabre smile threatening to break from her lips. Her entire being itched with the desire to take the Emperor and turn him against the gods. He could be even more powerful than the gods, but he identified as a human so he could fight alongside humanity.
Zeus narrowed his eyes, completely serious and angry at the kind of monstrous humans he was listening to. Long-lived humans, with advanced technology and powers that should not have been given to humanity. He remembered the few humans who were blessed, or cursed, by the gods with that gift and he was not happy.
Little by little the Primarchs were reunited with their Legions, becoming great generals and legends in the Empire.
"Aren't they going to say how they reunited?" Jeremy Agriche asked in an irritated voice.
No one said anything, but they were just as curious about how the Primarchs were reunited with their father, and therefore, with the soldiers created from them, the now called Space Marine Legions.
Each Primarch was both father and elder brother of each Legion, the source of that Legion's temperament and humor, a being in which each Legion saw its highest perfection and the ways of war personified of it.
Jango Fett's eyes twitched behind his buy'ce as he heard the Primarchs practically accepted what were essentially their clones with open arms. And in return, they viewed their Primarchs with the utmost respect and as the face of their Legions.
Several found it interesting the way the Legions idolized their Primarchs almost as if they were gods.
The return of the Primarchs to their Legions marked the apogee of the Great Crusade.
"In the end, they served the Emperor's plans." Huangpu Qianyun observed.
First, thousands and then hundreds of thousands, of human-populated worlds fell to the "Imperial Compliance," their conquest carried out by the newly assembled Primarchs and their Space Marine Legions. Like the gods of mythical Earth legend, the Primarchs roamed the battlefields of the universe and their power proved irresistible.
Qin Shi Huang was surely the most interested, as a conqueror. He found it fascinating to listen to how these twenty beings, demigods, along with their legions conquered everything in their path in the name of the Emperor and humanity.
The Targaryens, as descendants of conquerors, were equally fascinated, wanting to see more and hear more. Who were the Primarchs? What did they look like? What did they specialize in? How did they conquer?
Those with the blood of conquerors in their veins felt the thrill of hearing how these Primarchs took everything without asking permission, following their father's orders, expanding the empire and protecting the interests of their Emperor.
All those who fought felt their blood boil as they heard the exploits of the Primarchs, those created to each be a master in war. Created to expand and conquer the immense galaxy without stopping, killing their enemies and waving the flag of humanity in every corner of their universe.
Many wished that more people from their worlds were present to witness those words that spoke of a powerful and unstoppable humanity, of twenty generals with their twenty legions that conquered without ceasing.
The first Primarch found was Zhuo Yifan, who became the Warmaster.
"Dad?" Gu Santong exclaimed upon hearing the name of his godfather.
"Zhuo Yifan?" A blushing Chu Qingcheng asked.
"Hm, I wonder if that is why that demon is not present here." Huangpu Qiantian commented, causing several to look at him.
It's as if they realized that this could definitely be the reason why specific people were not present.
Like Tobirama, who was confused as to how several Uchiha were present, including Hashirama, but not Uchiha Madara.
Or how Megumi thought it was strange how his Sensei, and the strongest sorcerer, was not present.
For others it was more difficult. The gods did not understand who could be a Primarch of those who were in their world. Shiva? Susanoo? Apollo?
"But how is he there?" Armin asked, earning glances. “If he is a Primarch, but he is from another world, then how come so many universes are merging into one?”
The gods snorted when they heard that, except Hades who understood the confusion, but he was not the one who answered.
"You must remember that there are infinite universes and multiverses. In one of those, people from our universes are in one, and that is what we are observing right now." Brunhilde answered, directing her gaze to the screen, creating a solemn silence in the room.
Most of the Primarchs somehow recognized the Emperor at first sight, and immediately swore allegiance to him.
Several raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, it's not something I see Chung Myung doing." Jo Gul denied.
Several nodded in agreement. Obito was sure that Madara was in that world, and the proud leader of the Alatsuki definitely wouldn't give him his loyalty just like that.
Others like Iroh shook his head softly, casting a glance at the cold Ozai, probably Zuko, because he was the one who was there of that Iroh was sure, was one of those who gave his loyalty to the Emperor.
"I would like to know what the Emperor looks like for the Primarchs to recognize him so easily." Levi murmured.
A few only followed him after being surpassed in competitions (such as Chung Myung or Aemond Targaryen). The last one to be found was Cale Henituse.
"Shit." Aegon blurted out upon hearing the name of his younger brother.
"Oh, for the Seven." Alicent whispered, about to faint if it weren't for her children.
"Oh, isn't that very interesting?" Daemon commented softly, earning a look from Rhaenyra, not at all happy with the tone of his voice.
Lucerys blinked, amazed to know that his pretty uncle was in that place.
"Obviously Aemond would fight." Daeron laughed, astonished at his older brother.
Baek Cheon sighed, yes, a fight to the dead sounded like Chung Myung.
"Wait, that demon was defeated?" He asked suddenly, earning a look from Jo Gul.
"We won't talk about this once we return." The young man ordered, earning a nod from Baek Cheon.
"Human!" Exclaimed the little dragon in Eruhaben's arms, happy to hear about the human.
"But of course." Alberu complained. "Obviously that scammer would be there."
"Oh, my Cale, my living legend." Clopeh worshiped, almost falling to his knees, earning a look of disgust from Choi Han.
However, the Primarchs, for all their expressed superiority and apparent immortality,
Several, those who came out of their reverie, narrowed their eyes upon hearing about immortality. They still weren't sure where exactly immortality came from, but it was something they still hadn't forgotten.
they were still men and possessed many of the same human defects that have plagued Humanity since the birth of the species.
"Of course they'll still act like the disgusting creatures they are." Poseidon commented coldly.
"No matter how powerful they are, it doesn't change the fact that they are useless monkeys." Odin agreed.
Hades and Zeus didn't say anything, but it's not like they didn't agree. Humans are a disgusting race that, if it weren't for Brunhilde, would have been destroyed.
Brunhilde looked at them out of the corner of her eye, wanting to growl in anger that the gods believed themselves to be better than humans when they had those same defects.
They proved to be jealous, arrogant, and very competitive. Despite such feelings, they were protective of each other, with the idea that no one could bother the Primarchs but themselves.
Bruce smiled thinking of his children. His little birds were the same. No one could bother any of them other than themselves. If anyone dared to touch Tim, Jason would send them to the hospital, but he could insult him and even throw knives at him.
"At least they preserve their brotherhood." Eve said to Adam with a hopeful smile. What they both hated most was seeing their children destroy each other.
As Parents of Humanity, both knew of their children's defects, but it was to be expected when they were created in the image of the gods. However, that meant nothing in the face of the love they have for them.
43 years before what would become known as the Chaotic Space Marine Heresy,
"Another religious war?" Hal asked. “The crusades weren't enough?”
"Your reaction is understandable, but Chaotic Space Marines? Weren't the Space Marines the Emperor's army?" Padme counterattacked.
Several looked at each other.
"Treason?" Viper asked, looking at the Arcobalenos.
"On a galactic scale?" Fon commented. "It would be a disaster."
"By the Force." Mace Windu whispered, not wanting to see another galactic-level war, one capable of destroying millions or trillions of lives.
where several Space Marines from various Legions were corrupted by the forces of Chaos,
Obi-Wan was not the only one to swallow hard upon hearing of the betrayal of Humanity's army.
Today, the Primarchs are worshiped as gods and pilgrimages are made across the Galaxy to reach their temples, historical places that contain relics of their Legions.
"What the hell?" Poseidon growled. “Human scum being worshiped as gods?”
"Understandable that they are worshiped if they are so powerful and are war generals." Sokka snorted, ignoring the glances of the gods.
But he wasn't the only one who thought like that. Clearly the Primarchs were going to be worshiped if the Emperor was already on an altar, and now he had twenty noble sons as generals who spread his truth across the galaxy and conquered and killed in the name of humanity.
White Star smiled eagerly, that was what he wanted, to reach a point where he himself would become a god.
The room began to murmur among themselves, questions without answers being said to each other with theories about what was happening in that world, and to themselves.
