Chapter 1

Chapter 1

This is a story about how Naruto Uzumaki gets transported to an alternate dimension after two years of the Fourth Shinobi World War.

...

It has been 2 years since the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, and the world is still recovering from its effects.

And Kakashi Hatake had been Hokage for the last two years.

In the last two years many shinobis all around the world have been discovering many hideouts that were used by akatauki and zetsu

One of the leaf shinobi had found the hide full of mangekyo sharingan and it was being used by a group of rogue shinobis who had implanted them into their own eyes.

They had killed 3 of the 4 ninjas sent to check the hideout. The last one barely escaped.

Seeing that normal Ninja were not able to defeat the rogue group, Kakashi had decided to send Sasuke, seeing that he was the last of the Uchiha clan. However, currently, Sasuke was in a different dimension investigating about Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and her clan.

So he decided to send Naruto in his place.

And there was Naruto standing in front of a cave full of mangekyo sharingan and four rogue ninjas.

Kurama: "Let's make this quick. These fools don't deserve your time."

Naruto smirked, feeling Kurama's overwhelming power within him. He cracked his knuckles and stepped into the cave, entering Sage Mode immediately, knowing it would be more enough to deal with these rogue ninjas.

His senses heightened as he prepared to face his enemies.

As he entered the cave, the four rogue shinobi were waiting for him, their eyes blazing with the red glow of their Mangekyō Sharingan. They didn't waste any time, immediately unleashing their techniques.

One shinobi cloaked himself in the Susano'o, the ethereal warrior towering above them, while another summoned black flames of Amaterasu, spreading them across the cave walls to trap Naruto.

But Naruto was faster.

With the speed and reflexes granted by Sage Mode, he dashed forward, dodging the black flames, his body twisting and turning through the narrow cave paths. He closed the gap between himself and the first Susano'o user, planting a Rasengan directly into the Susano'o's chest.

The attack didn't break the armor, but it sent the shinobi staggering back.

Naruto: "You guys should have stayed hidden."

In an instant, Naruto sensed the movements of the other three shinobi. The second Susano'o user swung its massive sword at him, but Naruto vanished in a blur, reappearing behind him. A quick strike from a Sage-enhanced punch sent the shinobi crashing into the cave wall.

As the fight raged on, Naruto effortlessly avoided the attacks of the rogue shinobi. Their abilities were powerful but uncoordinated compared to what he had faced during the war. This was nothing.

Kurama: "These guys are nothing compared to Madara or Kaguya. Quit playing around and finish them already."

Naruto chuckled, side-stepped another Amaterasu flame. His Sage Mode allowed him to anticipate each movement, each attack before it even happened.

Naruto: "Yeah, yeah, I'm getting to it, Kurama."

With a flick of his wrist, Naruto formed a Rasenshuriken and hurled it toward the second Susano'o, the attack slicing through the armor and sending the rogue shinobi sprawling.

While Naruto was busy overwhelming the other three, the Kamui user waited patiently, lurking in the background, biding his time. He activated his technique, warping the space around Naruto.

Naruto was so focused on the Susano'o and Amaterasu users that he didn't immediately notice the distortion forming around him. By the time he felt the pull of Kamui, it was too late.

Kamui User: "You're finished, Uzumaki!"

The world around Naruto twisted, and before he could react, he felt his body being sucked into the Kamui dimension.

Naruto found himself standing in the desolate, gray void of the Kamui dimension. The silence was unnerving, and the emptiness vast. He scowled, realizing he had underestimated the rogue shinobi's tactics.

Kurama growled again, even more irritated than ever.

Kurama: "Tch! You let your guard down, Naruto! These rats aren't worth getting trapped in here."

Naruto: "I got too caught up fighting the others. But now that I'm here, let's end this."

Closing his eyes, Naruto focused inward, tapping into the deeper reserves of his chakra. His Six Paths Tailed Beast Mode flared to life, the markings of power glowing across his body. The Truth-Seeking Orbs appeared around him, swirling in a perfect formation.

The Kamui dimension rippled with the sheer force of Naruto's chakra. His aura pulsed, shaking the fabric of the dimension itself.

Naruto gathered all nine of his Truth-Seeking Orbs together, merging them into one katana of condensed power. As the katana formed, it began to pulse with chakra and warp the space around it. His chakra surged to its peak as he funneled all of his power into the katana, pushing it to its limits.

Kurama: "Be careful, Naruto. You're pouring a lot of chakra into this."

Naruto: "I have no choice. I need to break out of here."

With a final burst of energy, Naruto unleashed all of his and Kurama's chakra into the katana and slashed the air with it. The energy released from the katana was a brilliant flash of light, tearing through the very fabric of the Kamui dimension. The tear expanded rapidly, warping and distorting space, creating a portal.

He turned the katana back into the nine truth-seeking orbs, which were absorbed back into his body.

As Naruto was about to enter the rift, his body was sucked into the distortion, and the Kamui dimension collapsed behind him.

As his body was sucked into the rift, he lost consciousness.

...

When Naruto regains consciousness, he finds himself in a very dark place, lying on something.

He tried to get up only to hit his head once again

He examines the place where he is and comes to the conclusion that he is in some box. Moving his hands around him, he was confirmed that he was trapped in some kind of wooden box.

He placed both of his hands on the wooden lid that was covering the wooden box and tried to push it open.

But it does not move.

Now he was confused. If he was trapped in some kind of wooden box, it should be easy to remove the lid, move, and open it with his strength.

He tried once again, but this time, he channeled chakra to his muscles to increase their strength and applied pressure once more to the lid, but it still did not move.

He was utterly shocked that he was not able to open a wooden lid with his own chakra-enhanced strength, which was saying something considering he was the 3rd strongest person without any of his enhancements when it came to pure physical strength.

The only people who can apply more physical force then his are Sakura and tsunade with there enhanced strength technique

Naruto closed his eyes and entered his mindscape, coming face to face with Kurama.

"Kurama, do you know where we are? I am trapped in some sort of wooden cage, which I am not able to open even after applying chakra-enhanced strength," Naruto asked, confused.

I don't know. I also lost consciousness when we were sucked into that portal.

I was awakened when you channeled your chakra.

"Fine then, I will enter sage mode and try to sense our surroundings," Naruto said, excitedly entering his mindscape. However, he did not open his eyes; instead, he opened his senses to the natural energy flowing all around the world. In a matter of seconds, he was in sage mode.

After gaining the six paths chakra at the end of the fourth shinobi world war, entering sage mode was like breathing.

He could enter it within seconds, and he no longer needs to sit still to gather senjutsu chakra.

Naruto opened his eyes and was in sage mode, with toad-like eyes and orange pigment surrounding his eyes.

He once again placed his hand on the wooden lid, but this time he felt something he had not felt before: a fuinjutsu seal surrounding the wooden box.

He did not recognize the fuinjutsu script that was surrounding the box.

But by analyzing it, he understood that the main proposal was to seal the box to stop anyone from opening it from outside.

But nothing to stop it from being opened from inside.

With enough strength, it can be opened from the inside.

He put both hands on the lid and applied all his strength.

The lid started to rise, but something else happened: dirt started filling inside the box.

Now he was sure that someone had buried him alive.

Seeing how fast the box was filling with dirt, he decided to add Kurama's chakra to his Sage Mode and, with all his strength, he threw the lid upwards.

As the lid was removed, Naruto was able to see the sky.

He jumped out of the one in which he was in.

What he saw shocked him to the core. He was buried in the graveyard.

In front of the whole area was a grave stone, and it had something written on it.

He cleared the dirt to read it properly, and it said, "Here lies Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, a beloved son and brother."

He was dead.

Naruto stood in shock, staring at his own gravestone. The weight of the situation was starting to settle in, but it didn't make any sense. He couldn't have been dead. His hand clenched into a fist, trembling as confusion overwhelmed him.

"Kurama, what is this? How could I have a gravestone here? I'm alive!" Naruto exclaimed, still in disbelief.

Kurama's voice rumbled from within him, calm yet serious. "Naruto, listen carefully. We may not be in our world anymore."

Naruto blinked, confused. "What do you mean, not in our world? There's only one world, right? And we were only in the Kamui dimension for a few minutes. How could things have changed this much?"

Kurama sighed deeply, his voice taking on a more thoughtful tone. "That's where you're wrong, Naruto. You remember how the Kamui dimension works, right? It exists outside of normal space and time. It's a pocket dimension, separate from everything else."

Naruto nodded slowly, still trying to piece everything together. "Yeah, I know. It's a space Obito and Kakashi could access using their Mangekyō Sharingan. But what does that have to do with this?"

Kurama's eyes narrowed in Naruto's mindscape, his massive form looming over Naruto's consciousness. "The Kamui dimension, being outside of regular space and time, isn't bound by the same rules as our universe. When you tore through it using that katana, you didn't just break out—you ripped open a hole between dimensions."

Naruto's eyes widened. "Wait… dimensions? You're saying I crossed into another one?"

Kurama gave a curt nod. "Exactly. There's not just one universe, Naruto. There are countless universes—an infinite number of them. This place might look like your world, but it's not. It's another version of it, a parallel universe where things didn't turn out the way you remember."

Naruto was silent for a moment, the realization hitting him hard. "So… that gravestone… it's for another version of me?"

Kurama nodded again. "Yes. In this universe, it seems you died. How and why, I can't say. But we're not in the world we left behind."

Naruto's heart pounded as he tried to process everything. "But how can that be? How can there be so many versions of the same world?"

Kurama's expression softened slightly. "It's like a tree with infinite branches. Each choice, each action, every event creates a different possibility. Some branches are similar to each other, while others are completely different. You've just landed on one of those other branches."

Naruto clenched his fists, staring at the gravestone again. "So, I'm stuck here? In this world where I'm dead?"

Kurama's voice was firm. "Naruto, tearing through the Kamui was possible because it's a pocket dimension—self-contained, and separate from the universe. But breaking through the fabric of space and time to leave an entire universe? That's on a whole different level. Much more difficult. If not nearly impossible."

Naruto's breath caught. "So, there's no guarantee I can get back home?"

Kurama's voice lowered. "That's right. Even if we found a way to break through space and time again, there's no telling if we'd land in the right universe. We might never get back to the exact one we came from."

Naruto took a deep breath, the reality hitting him even harder now. He had been through worse—fighting gods, battling in a war that determined the fate of the world—but this was something else entirely. A different kind of battle.

Naruto clenched his fists, staring out at the unfamiliar world before him. "So, what now?"

Kurama stood to his full height within Naruto's mind. "We'll find a way to adapt. First, we need to understand where exactly we are. How is this universe different then our own Then, we figure out how to survive in this universe. You still have me, your powers, and everything you've learned. "

Naruto nodded, his resolve hardening despite the uncertainty. "Right. First step—figure out what's going on in this world."

With that, Naruto turned away from his grave, looking out over the unfamiliar landscape. Somewhere in this world, answers were waiting for him.
