So troublesome
Why I had to tern eight and why I had to go to academy ? Life was soo perfect until now just sleeping, eating , cloud watching with choji and shogi with dad even with mom's nagging and ino's existence.
"Shikamaru don't fall asleep in the first lecture or " mom threatened.
" Cut him some slack yoshino " said dad looking utterly done with everything." You lazy Nara shut up he is already enough corrupted by your lazyness , no son of mine will get detention on the first day of the academy for sleeping in class "
"O you troublesome woman stop nagging me already " *bonk* " what did you just said shikamaruuuuuu repeat that again " yeah not calling her that for quite a while after that smack.
"Sorry mom"
"Now listen stay with either ino or choji and focus on-" mom suddenly stops and not just mom everyone in the area stop talking I turned around to look at what made everyone stop.
Walking towards them was the lord Hokage himself and with him was a blonde boy even younger than himself . Shikamaru never met someone who was younger that himself , the kid was unconsciously trying to make himself even smaller than he already was.
Lord Hokage ignored everyone in the clearing and made his way towards the academy with the kid .what is lord Hokage doing here?why is he with some kid? Why the kid was here when he was clearly too young to be in the academy? All kind of questions popped into Shikamaru 's brain with no answers for said questions. To get answers I turned towards my dad who in turn look at me like he already knew what I am gonna say and stops me before I even begin.
"If you want answers son look for them yourself"
"But that troublesome dad"
"Why do you think I am not answering your questions " then suddenly the bell rings indicating that classes are going to start soon , saying last goodbye to my parents I start making my way towards the class with choji and ino .
As soon as we entered into the class ino ditched us for her pink haired civilian friend, me and choji decided to go and sit in the back of the room , where the bench of three was unoccupied.
Two minutes later a chunine with hair tied in high pony tail and scar around his nose came into the class with lord Hokage and the blonde child from before.
"My name is Umino Iruka and from now on I am going to be your homeroom teacher till you graduate from the academy as shinobi "introduced the now known sensei.
"Good morning Iruka sensei " singed whole class together
"Hello everyone I wish you all are doing well and I hope that you all enjoy your time here in the academy " warmly greeted the most respected person of the village.
"Thank you lord Hokage" again signed the whole class together.
"Now I want to introduce my little companion here as he is going to join you guys in your class as a fellow classmate, Naruto kun introduce yourself "said the elderly leader.
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto dattabayo I am five years old and I am gonna be the Hokage" said the young blonde confidently with a grin that look like was for a show after a moment of hesitation. Lord Hokage after saying something to Naruto decided to take his leave.
"Naruto , you can go sit wherever the seat is available" Shikamaru looked at his left where no one was sitting the only seat which was not occupied in the whole class at the same time Iruka sensei instructed the boy , after giving a good look of the class and seeing that there is only one seat available Naruto made his way over to mine and Choji's desk .
Before sitting he gave a wary glance towards me and choji as he was scared we are gonna do something to him . At the same time choji decided to introduce himself to the new kid.
" Hi my name is Akimichi Choji and this is Nara Shikamaru nice to meet you." Naruto looked at outstretched hand as nobody has ever shaken a hand with him before a big real grin appeared on his face.
"Hi I am Uzumaki Naruto dattabayo nice to meet yaa too"
I can already tell this boy is gonna be troublesome.
"So class from today onwards until next four years I am gonna teach you children basic of shinobi, there is going to be total of five lectures consist of shinobi history, taijustsu, genjustsu , ninjustsu and shinobi tactics . So today we only focus on the introduction of the mentioned subject , but before that class I would like you all to introduce yourself so we can become familiar with each other, start from the front desk "
" I am Haruno sakura " said ino's pink haired friend.
"I am Yamanka Ino heiress to the Yamanka clan "
" My name is cho ami my father is a merchant "
" Myself Sasuke Uchiha " introduced a boy with black hair , lots of girls giggled among themselves after his introduction.
"Name Inuzuka kiba and this little guy here is my partner Akamaru" said a boy with white puppy on his head .
" I a-am Hy-Hyuuga Hinata" said a timid black haired girl.
"Myself Aburame Shino" introduced the boy with heavy coat , like this introduction's continued by the time my tern come I was already asleep until someone started pokeing me in my cheek , I looked up and saw Naruto was the one who was doing that. Irritated I snapped "what happened"
Naruto flinched and cowerd backwards and said "it's your tern soon " suddenly I felt really guilty for scaring the little boy.i sigh and looked at Naruto again and said " sorry for snapping at you like that I don't like to be woken up from my nap" .
Naruto smiled a little at the apology and mumbled " it's ok no problem"
" My name is Akimichi Choji" said his best friend.
"Shikamaru Nara " I introduced myself. After me Naruto also decided to introduce himself again.
" My name is-"
" We already know who you are , now sit down " snapped sensei harshly then needed ,Naruto again flinched violently before covering the hurt look in his face as nothing happened. There is something definitely going around this boy that Shikamaru can't pinpoint exactly, so many questions also suround the boy like why is he attending the academy earlier because clearly he was younger than the whole class, why he came with lord Hokage why there teacher seams to be hostel against him.
Uzumaki Naruto was a mystery with many questions but not enough answers.
There has not been a mystery that Nara Shikamaru was not able to solve.
So troublesome.
