The baby 's first day
Academy was boring.
I thought academy would be fun when dad told me about how we are going to learn basic of shinobi on top of that Shikamaru is going to be there with me all the time. But after 3 continuous lecture about shinobi history, what is thaijutsu, what is the meaning of shinobi tactics and other boring stuff that went in from one ear and out from another without moving and inch from are seat since morning, yeah academy is boring Shikamaru has decided after 5 minutes of listening the lecture that sleeping is much more important is still dozing beside me while the kid who introduced himself as Naruto sincerely attended the first lecture and even asked few questions but was either ignore or was ruduly snapped by teachers for disturbing there lectures was now openly drooling on his notebook of shinobi tactics . Cute
When finally after eternity bell finally rang indicating the end of third period and finally the start of lunch break choji was really happy as whole class rushed outside lunch boxes in there hands to spend time with their new friends they had made during lectures giving a slight nudge to wake up Shikamaru .
"Shika wake up lunch break has started and I am really hungry" choji mumbled as gently as he can because Shikamaru hate waking up.
"Ahh it is already lunch break , man that was a good nap, let's go choji " as Shikamaru stand up lasely. As mentioned and Shikamaru were making are way outside I noticed Naruto was still sleeping in the class .
"Shika should we wake Naruto, I don't think he will like missing the lunch break " choji said pointing at a sleeping 5 years old.
"Troublesome , why not " we made are way back to naruto .
"Naruto wake up " I aid poking his whisker cheeks which are soft like mochi
"Naruto wake up"I said poking little harder , the blonde child finally opened his eyes and start rubbing them with his hand to get sleepeness out of his eyes . Ok this kid was really cute .
"Huh what happened" Naruto finally awake asked ,
"Lunch break is going on though you want to eat rather than sleep " Shikamaru said
"Thank you for waking me up choji and Shikamaru " Naruto said with the smile after that me and Shikamaru made are way outside and sat down under the tree and opened are bento , wow mom is the best she made all of my favourite dishes as fast as I can I start devouring the lunch , I was busy eating when I saw pair of foots come and stop in front of me and Shikamaru I looked up it was Naruto he was holding a lunch box with a nervous grin on his face .
"Hey guys can I sit with you two for the lunch I don't know anybody else ,only if you guys don't mind" he added the last part bit fast as he was expecting us to reject him .
I looked at Shikamaru asking silently what does he think in return he just shrugs and said .
"Why not " Naruto sat down as his nervous grin turned into a sunny smile and dimple appeared in both of his cheeks. "Thanks guys" Naruto opened his banto which consist of bread clumsyly stuck together with butter those bread butter look like has gone through wars.
" Naruto if you dont mind me asking who made your lunch " I asked because I dont want to offend the boy
" Oho I made it " Naruto told confidently.
" Why" Shikamaru asked this time .
" What do you mean why " Naruto genuinely looked confused.
" I mean why did you make your own lunch, is your mom not home today to make lunch for you" choji said immediately regretting as smile on the face of blonde child fell.
"I am orphan I don't have mom or a dad " Naruto said with a small voice without looking at them now choji was feeling really guilty for asking the boy about the lunch .
" I am sorry " said shika and me at the same time
" Why you guys are saying sorry it's not like it's your fault and don't be sorry I never even met my parents in the first place " Naruto said trying to assure the boys which was definitely not working.
" Ook you want to try some of my lunch " choji offered to the little guy as Shikamaru looked at him with surprise witch is understandable because choji don't like to share his foot as much as Shikamaru hate someone waking him up , it is true that choji has a big stomach but choji has even bigger heart so yes he is going to share his food with the little kid who most likely never had a food made my mom .
" Thanks choji you are the best " Naruto said happily as he took a bite out of Choji's banto shika also offered his own food , as they three sat there talking and enjoying there lunches.
After lunch break was over three more lectures consist of theory of ninjutsu ,genjutsu and shurikin jutsu started .
At the end of the day me Shikamaru and Naruto made are way outside where are parents were waiting for us , me and Shikamaru said are good bye to Naruto and walked towards where are parents were waiting for us . After being away for my parents for so long for the first time I was really happy to see them as I ran towards my dad who in return give me a big hug and ruffled my hair .
" Choji my boy how was the first day " dad asked happily as we start walking away from the academy.
" It was okay dad , lectures were boring we met this new kid he is really small dad his name is Naruto he is really nice too-" as choji was talking about his first day he did not notice that his dad slight stiffness in his dad 's smile at the mentioned of the name .
" Oho it's good choji , that you made a new friend " choja told his son .at the same time ino intrupeted
" That little kid , you know what choji , Shikamaru you should stay away from him I heard some of our classmates talking that there parents told them to stay away from him" at that ino's father abruptly stopped and give his daughter a sharp look which was surprising because inoich Yamanka adores his daughter.
"Ino I don't want you saying these kind of things about anyone just because you hear something from someone does not make it true , what if someone say that they don't want to play with you because they heard some things about you " ino's father scolded her ,well atleast ino has enough awareness to look ashamed.
" I am sorry dad , it won't happen again" ino said head down , Inoichi accepted his daughter apology and again start asking ino about her day . I don't think there something wrong with Naruto he seems like a nice friend to be around . Whatever I am not gonna stop talking with Naruto just because of some stupid rumour.
I still think academy is boring!!!
