Chapter 1
Antinous took a deep breath he spoke quietly so it was only him that could hear. “Today is the day all I have to do is ask. Then I can ask him the big question.” He started to walk up the steps to the palace, when he got the doors the guards let him with immediately because of how know he was know he was thorough the castle.
The plan was to see Telemachus and pretend to go and and get a drink. Then go and find them he planed to ask them all together. Depending on what there answer is chooses the fate of his and Telemachus date.
He moves over to Telemachus quarters and knocks even, after 5 years of dating and 15 years of knowing each other he still does choose to knock. A kind voice which he knows is his boyfriends allows him to enter.
“Come Antinous.” After 15 years of knowing him he Telemachus knows him better than he knows himself.
“Good morning tele.” He sees him weaving curious he asks him what his is weaving. “What are you weaving, also I got you some flowers.” Telemachus stands and walks over, places his hands on Antinous cheeks and gives him a kiss. “A new cloak.” Keeping his hands in place and Antinous put his hands on his waist flowers still in hand “ I got you some hyacincth.”
Telemachus smiles up at him. “My favourite you know me so well.” They take their hands off each other, He hands him the flowers and gives him a kiss on the forehead.
Telemachus he strolled over to his desk and grabbed a vase and put the flowers inside it. Antinous sat down onto Telemachus bed, he went over to Antinous and cuddled into his side. “Do you want to join me and my parents for lunch, Since we won’t be here for dinner.” Antinous put an arm around the younger man’s shoulders. “I would love to.” They sat like that until Antinous excused himself and left the room.
“I will be back I promise I’m just going to get a drink would you like anything.” Telemachus thought for a few seconds. “Can you get me some figs please.” Antinous smiled at him. “ Of course I can, I will be back in a few minutes.” They said their goodbye’s and he closed the door. Time to go ask his lovers parents the question.
He made it to the ruler’s quarters he knocked and after a few minutes Penelope opened the door. She looked surprised. “Antinous how wonderful that you came to visit does Telemachus know you’re here.” He gave her gentle smile. “Yes he does I just came from his room and I was wondering if I could ask you guys something.” Penelope moved to the side. “ Of course you can come on in. “Thank you.”
He stepped in side and saw Odysseus and Diomedes sat on a couch waiting for Penelope to come back. They turned their heads Diomedes booming voice spoke “Ah, Antinous how nice it is to see you what brings you to our quarters. Come and take a seat .”
He listened and seat. “I need to ask you all something.”
Penelope sat. “And what is this something.”Odysseus said as he raised an eyebrow. “Can I have you blessings to marry Telemachus.”
They all froze for a few minutes. Diomedes opened his mouth to ask a question. “I say yes but under a few conditions.” Odysseus and Penelope agreed. “I also have a few conditions.” Penelope said Odysseus followed on saying. “I will say yes but you have to promise to protect and provide for our baby boy.” Antinous looked him straight at him. “I will do anything for him as long as I am able to spend the rest of my days with him.” Odysseus smiled. “ It’s a yes from me then.” He then looked at Penelope. “Let me ask you would you go to war for him.” He looked at her nodded. “He safety will come before my own life.” She also smiled happy with his answer.
“So I would like to know how far will you for him and what will would you do if he was ever in danger, if I don’t like your your answer I won’t allow this marriage.” Diomedes gruff voice spoke. “I would go through every punishment in the underworld for him.He would never be in danger because I will always protect him to him he wouldn’t even think of the word danger if will be unknown to him, and if he ever was in danger I would go though Gods to make sure he was safe.” Diomedes smirked along with his lovers.
“I give you my blessing.” Diomedes told him. “You are allowed to marry our son” Penelope spoke. Antinous started to stand. “ I would stay longer but Telemachus wants me to get him some figs but we will both join you at lunch.” He went for the door Odysseus open his mouth to speak. “We will be there goodluck Antinous with the proposal.” He opened the door the door to leave but before he did he made sure to thank them. “Thank you for allowing the marriage. They said there goodbyes and left.
It was official he was able to pop the big question after 5 years he finally can.
