Feeling the pollen easing up again I freeze seeing the woman Donna showed me that's supposed to live in the castle fighting me to get free.

Getting us to the deepest part I use her body to shove away from her making sure to use my ink to escape, rushing for the cliff I climb my way up hearing the woman scream so loudly it seems like a roar.

Pulling myself over the cliff I run to the hole while using a cloth from my ripped clothes as a filter, seeing Donna hiding I rush over checking her to see if she hurt "Donna, I need you to listen get the pollen under control" I whisper to her.

Glancing around I spot the final Lord fighting the dolls "you can't leave" she whispers grabbing my arm.

"I'll fight if they try but this is going to make things so much worse, I just attacked the tall one because I thought she was a Cecaelia"

Gently grabbing Donna chin I make her look at me "Donna focus on me, no one will take me away but you have to calm down before you affect the villagers too".

Hearing a bird frantic chirps turn into a human screaming I see a woman fall from the tree to the ground "Donna, I'm guessing that is your mother time to stop" I warn seeing her eyes widen.

Before Donna can say or do anything I jump up grabbing her while dodging the sharp claws I mistook for a whip, feeling them catch my back I hiss but keep moving to protect Donna.

Seeing Angie in the middle of the dolls fighting I place Donna down hidden from view "get it under control, I'll get Angie and keep the tall one distracted" I tell her gently before running.

Finding some rocks I'd planned to use for a project I grab some up and start throwing them at the tall one before hiding behind a tree and creeping along to Angie.

Grabbing her I use a tentacle to shove the final Lord out of the way feeling it being cut off by the tall one "damn it, you fucking great white looking whale" I snap before throwing a small boulder at her.

Seeing it catch her stomach I move quickly remembering Donna's warning about how fast she can shake off injuries or heal.

I finally spot the Mother recovering and rush up "get you're daughters under control before they hurt Donna" I snap before throwing another rock catching the tall one when she gets to close to Donna's hiding spot.

Seeing her track where I looked she suddenly takes off getting between them and gets her back "Donna get control of your pollen" she orders harshly while blocking a swing of claws missing Donna flinch at her tone.

Running over I grab up Donna moving her again "it's okay, just focus on me you can do this, calm down and you can do it" I say gently.

Feeling her press her face to my neck I place Angie in her arms while cradling her head with my hand and humming near her ear.

A while later

Keeping Donna behind me I allow a few tentacles out while keeping my human form snarling at the tall one "you dare invade her personal space" I demand watching both her and the other while Miranda stands to the side with a look of disappointment.

"You are supposed to be family yet I've seen nothing but disregard for her safety or needs, you endangered her knowing her response to anyone coming as a challenge or threat, you might as well have came here planning to kill her" I snap feeling something familiar put in my hand.

Clenching my hand around it I hear Angie giggle clapping "ohh, you're in trouble now" she cackles out.

Glancing at my hand I see my bag with my weapons "hands" I order.

Seeing both ignoring me glaring I look at their Mother "either they put their hands out or I will take them down and it will be worse" I snarl.

Seeing her eyes quickly look at my tentacles before back to me she finally nods "hands now" she commands.

"Mother, you can't be serious" the smaller Lord demands.

"Do it now"

Once both put their hands out I dig in my bag pulling out the thing my caretaker used on me as child placing it in their mother's hands "this is what's used in my family when a child disobeys or disrespects" I add seeing her confused.

"What is it?" She asks looking unsure.

"I believe you'd know it as a riding crop but to us it's a punishment whip, now you do it" I answer while crossing my arms.

"I will not" she says sounding horrified.

Snarling I get in her face "you're children have become entitled spoiled brats who have no respect for personal space they endangered themselves, you, and Donna sometimes a child needs a firm hand to make them understand consequences for their actions".

Seeing her refuse I scoff yanking it from her hand "you wouldn't last a day in my kinds as a caretaker for the next generation, your charges would have long died or been taken from you as an incompetent guardian resulting in you're banishment or death depending on what happens to the charges".

Nudging Donna to the house I stop at the door blocking them "you will leave, you've done enough damage by raising your voice at Donna but being unwilling to punish your other children, they have completely shattered her sense of safety on her own territory and broke her sister's grave".

Two and a half weeks later

Standing outside I take down the previous enhancement on the gate after replacing the broken part "what's this?" I hear their mother ask.

Scoffing I glance back seeing her holding up my crafting stuff "something you're daughters won't be able to damage or use their power on".

"This is metal" she says sarcastically.

"Titanium, has an extremely low quality for electricity and will be coated in multiple layers of Rubber, and silicone to add protection. Thanks for that by the way, I'm nearly completely broke after buying this shit to help make Donna feel safe again" I grunt taking it from her.

"Oh and your giant child owes me a new guardian for the cave" I add glaring at her "I expected something aquatic and has a high enough intelligence to follow orders and understand what happens if it eats what I'm protecting, but dumb enough it doesn't try to make plans to turn on me".

"Cecaelia only guard what they deem the most important and precious"

Humming I nod while placing a new part in the woods "figures you know what I am, do you know what we guard then?" I grunt.

"Clutches or mates, you're willing to die to protect them, with clutches you're known to die to protect others clutches as well or take in clutches if the mother dies"

Chuckling darkly I slam a new piece in place "do you know my next question since you know that?" I growl.

"I knew with you guarding Donna we wouldn't be able to get in without a fight ending in your death, I figured out your protecting her and wouldn't back down but I knew she would be safe, I decided it was best to speak with you first when she's not around so you're less likely to attack me on sight to protect your mate"

Frowning I grab a new piece "and now you show up almost a month later for what?" I demand not confirming or denying her assumptions.

"I want to speak with my daughter"

Laughing I sit it down stepping in front of her using my two inches to tower over her "and why would I allow you near her after what you did, I could easily get her to follow me out of the village, I could take her away from here and you all, I can take her to all the places she dreams of. So give me a good reason why you should be aloud near her after your weakness to punish the ones in the wrong while scolding the innocent, you've taken no time to learn about her or see what she needs, the very bonds keeping her here have been nearly broken by yourself and them".
