Eva pov

Walking further across the lake I hear Alcina's steps stop and jump forward then sigh grabbing the rails for balance waiting for her to come down, looking back I figure one of her heels fell through but she's stood looking in the distance with a frown.

Following her sight I frown seeing a large pile of junk we've never been able to clean out without flooding the entire villages "someone's cleaning it" I mutter.

Running ahead I hear Alcina's cursing before she catches up just as I slide to a stop on the slippery algae coated ground "these are boats that's been sunk because the junk in the water" I mutter after climbing up it some.

"Stop digging in that stuff, it's disgusting" Alcina huffs from a distance back.

Looking along the water I frown seeing a solid blockage built where the water looks cleaner "oh this maybe bad" I say looking at Alcina seeing her nod before tracking the direction it heads.

"It heads down to the village"

"Yes, but this is the main part providing the towns water"

"Why's no one reported this?" I ask.

"Because we built the water towers with filters for the snow and blocked this off we get enough snow fall it works with some control on how much we use"

Looking at Alcina I sigh annoyed that she's correct and it should have been obvious to me "right, last I checked we had more water in them then normal" I say nodding.

Standing up I follow the river down to the and eventually come to Donna boundary before the dolls then follow along till I see Donna's waterfall, it's much clearer then normal, spotting a splash in the water I tense before seeing a large fish "Eva what's Donna doing?" Alcina asks.

Turning I see the fence surrounding her territory has been replaced with thick wood that has spikes all over it "go look over it" I order while pulling my coat and shoes off.

Diving in the water I look around seeing it's clear and I can see easily, spotting a cave hidden around a large rock I head to it coming up for air before diving again.

Swimming in I look around confused since the place has light in it, climb up on the rock surface I walk around before finding a bag of money and a makeshift bed "someone lives here?"

Turning I head back to the water but stop seeing a cluster of sacks tucked into a smaller water filled cave with a coating of slime over it forming a wall.

Getting in for a closer look I grunt before heading back out while quickly swimming back to the shore feeling something biting me, throwing myself onto dry land I spin to look seeing a Wels catfish with large sharp teeth watching me.

"That's not normal" I mutter.

"Taller then me" Alcina says coming back.

"Are you okay?" She asks looking at me.

Nodding I keep my eyes on the fish seeing it spit water at me before swimming off "you're bleeding" she snaps turning my leg to look.

"That catfish bit me" I hiss slapping her hands away "stop shoving your fingers in it" I add.

"It shouldn't have been able to make marks this bad" she snaps.

"It's fucking mutated and guarding something" I growl getting up and looking at Donna's house.

"Eva, think about this, you don't know what you're up against and you know how Donna responds to challenges or threats" Alcina warns.

Shaking my head I stalk around the area till I reach the gate door ignoring Alcina following me.

Mother Miranda pov

Seeing Eva and Alcina I move to go speak with them but Eva lifts her hand ripping the metal hinges off the door causing it to fall before shoving her way in.

Faster than I can respond I see Alcina's claws come out before Eva screams looking in the distance, I see large tentacles suddenly wrap around Alcina before I'm lost in my own nightmare.

Looking around I shiver seeing five crystal bodies of two of my daughters and my three granddaughters then see Angie, seeing two more makes no sense to me unless I got more kids, looking around again I see my village in ruins and a man with a gun coming at me yelling about his daughter.

Nova pov

Hearing the gate door fall I jump up and jump over the dolls rushing out only to see a tall figure with a five tail whip and a human frozen in fear most likely the mate, hearing Donna gasp I take off after the more dangerous threat.

Slamming against it I wrap my body around it dropping my human form causing us both to fall against the fence breaking it.

Feeling her trying to get free I twist dragging her for the cliff using her fighting to my advantage, reaching the edge I wait for her to move and then throw myself over dragging her with me.

Hitting the water I drag her down wrapping my tentacles around the spots her gills should be while trying to take the whip.
