Sitting on the couch I sigh looking at the dolls all watching out the windows and doors inside, hearing a swishing sound I shake my head and squeeze my eyes closed "I'm on land, I killed her, even if I didn't she can't get to me" I mutter.

Taking a deep breath I shiver feeling something brush against my shoulder, opening my eyes I keep myself calm seeing a large figure with scars over her face stood before me, but she's not as tall as she should be.

Sucking in a breath I stay silent and hold my breath to let the pollen start filtering out of my system "Donna, I need you to stay back and silent till I can focus without seeing a threat" I say carefully.

Seeing the figure nod I hear faint steps moving back from me while the figure stays in place, after a moment it clears up and I relax.

"With Cecaelia certain males that are found to be the best choices will fertilize multiple clutches, we can recognize siblings when this happens even if not from the same clutch, I had at least one sibling who carried on her genetic line, a hundred years after my banishment I returned to see if I could just slip back in and hide but I found my niece waiting"

"What happened?" Donna asks.

"I need you to ease up on the pollen, I can't hold my breath forever" I grunt out before taking a small weak breath.

Seeing her nod I tilt my head back continuing to take shallow breaths "she was a beautiful warrior but was set to kill me because apparently my sisters children kept documents of what happened to me, I had to kill her to get away she's the only one that ever cause so much damage to me I guess magical capability came on my father's side not just mother".

Opening my eyes I see Donna holding Angie in front of her and lift my arms, seeing her rush over I let her cuddle up against me "my niece had magic and did something to her whip that made it wrap around things easier, she caught me with it and planned to take me to face punishment and execution, I was to be taken to a tropical land where a few human mates were waiting".

"Why?" Angie asks crossing her arms.

"I was to be bound then dragged by horses to a nearby desert and set on fire to ensure I couldn't escape death"

"How'd you escape?"

"I don't know, I remember killing my niece but I'd been hurt and passed out, I woke up on land in Europe with a small collection of items and a note telling me to never return or I'd die"

"Someone helped you" Donna whispers.

"Yes, but I don't know who, I don't think my clutch survived so I don't believe I had children, all I know is someone did and I've honored their help by doing as asked"

"Do you think you'll ever know?"

"No, not without returning to my home and to do so would be breaking an understanding and bringing dishonor to me, the fact I survive is an insult to my family honor but as long as I stay away, it can be ignored and I'll be viewed as dead so honor restored to it"

"You speak about honor a lot" Donna says softly.

"We are warriors, we're expected to have honor, we each have a code that we follow but depending on your family honor comes in different forms my parents were victorious warriors who took down an army of Merfolk, so I took down an entire kingdom becoming queen, if I'd had a child they would have gone to new areas to be out of my shadow and build their own way"

Checking on my lycans I smile seeing they been obeying better even the few rogue ones have fallen in line to listen to my orders so I don't have to kill them now, seeing one with injuries I sigh moving over to check it.

Looking at it I frown seeing it's circular sores that wrap around it's torso "did something mutate at the Reservoir?" I ask out loud.

I know they been avoiding the village finally and the Reservoir completely, frowning I sigh, that's a large territory if something is strong enough to claim it without our knowledge then it has to be killed or taken control of before it becomes a threat to everyone.

Getting up I head inside grabbing the phone making a call "Alcina, I think something's grown at the Reservoir, it maybe big so I'll need you to join me to deal with it if we find it".

Hearing her confirming to help I hang up before noticing I'm missing books on octopus and squid from my shelf "damn it mother, did you try creating something with one" I mutter.

Turning I rush out heading for the technically shared territory even though I'm the only one who ever deals with it "we need a new sibling to handle this shit hole" I huff before climbing on my motorcycle.

Racing down the roads I swerve when Alcina nearly side swipes me with her carriage, correcting myself I pull up beside her seeing her smirk around her cigarette at me from the window.

Yanking my leg up I kick it causing it to jerk to the side before speeding ahead of her "I want a little sister mom, can we adopt one" I say mocking my past self for thinking having a sister was a good idea "I should have asked for a brother" I mutter.

Pulling up I stop making sure to slide safely on my bike dodging Alcina nearly sending my newly repaired bike into the water "that is why that place is so disgusting" I grunt glaring at her as she climbs out.

"That monstrosity has no place here, it's a kindness to the villagers when I kill it" she sarcastically says with a smug smirk.

"Sure and it has nothing to do with Cassandra bugging you for one" I snark before turning to walk across the bridge over the water.

Hearing Metal screeching I spin seeing my bike drop to the ground off Alcina's claws "oops" she coos before stalking ahead of me as I stare at my poor bike.
