You Made A Fool Of Everyone So This Is What You Get (Smiling Critters and Nightmare Critters song mashup/Catnap and Dogday)
The student council were all in their little meeting room, meant for official activities like planning festivals, holidays, shows, etc. But today they are talking about probably the most important thing ever since the founding of the institution. How can the two clubs, The Smiling Critters Music Club and The Nightmare Critters Club for Music Rebels, finally get along. Somehow the reputation of the Nightmare Critters and their club is now way better ever since the Nightmare Critters Club for Music Rebels president Baba Chops had substituted for the lead singer on Teacher's day, between the two clubs, they still don't really get along for some reason. Even though Catnap the vice-president for The Smiling Critters Music Club, were old friends with Baba Chops, any of the other members just wouldn't get along with eachother. So after a bit of brainstorming, the student council president Poppy got an idea.
"What if we swap the two club president's around? Dogday would be in charge with Nightmare Critters Club for Music Rebels and Baba Chops would be in charge of The Smiling Critters Music Club?" She confidently questioned. Majority of the student council seemed to agree with this plan, all except for vice-president Angel who had a slightly different strategy. "That wouldn't work, even though Miss Chops might be able to lead The Smiling Critters. And even though Mister Dogday is a natural leader and could work well in any leader scenario, The Nightmare Critters just wouldn't accept him. So as a compromise, maybe vice-president Catnap would be the person to swap with? Also to get the clubs into a competitive spirits, they would have to do a performance in a week to prove their leadership skills, and their ability to work together even with different people." Vice-president Angel said. Then the whole of the student council seemed to agree with vice-president Angels plan. So with that, the plan was now in effect.
Dogday and Catnap were called to the student council's office for an announcement and after getting there, the student council welcomed them and told them to sit down on the empty seats. When they did, Baba Chops and Simon Smoke had walked in the room. After they sat down, president Poppy started talking. "Alright you four. We have a little experiment for you all to try." Poppy said, making the two pairs nervous. "We have a sort of social experiment for your clubs, so that said clubs could finally get along." Angel followed up. "What's the whole experiment about?" Dogday asked. "Well its simple really. Catnap will swap with Baba Chops and Baba Chops will swap with Catnap." Poppy said. Dogday, Catnap, Baba, and Simon were then undoubtedly shook over this information. "Oh don't worry. It's only gonna be for a week, oh and also you're gonna do a performance at the end of the week." Poppy continued. "A week? That's so long! And a performance without the actual leader? You can forget it!" Simon finally spoke up. "Yeah same here. No offense to Baba's 'leadershipness' but I'm afraid that my members will not accept the fact that I wont be there. Dogday also replied. "Well hold on now, they do have a point." Baba spoke up, saying that to Dogday and Simon.
"Exactly. I thought our clubs would be way closer by now but apparently not." Catnap also added. After a little bit of debating, Dogday and Simon finally conceded. And after agreeing, extra rules are gonna be in play. The swapped members cannot see anyone drom their club after the experiment is in effect, the swapped members cannot enter their clubroom while the experiment is in effect, and the experiment will last one whole week until the deadline which is the day of the performance. Once that was done, The two pairs left. But before splitting off to their clubrooms, they came up with a plan on how to communicate with their clubs.
Catnap walked with Simon to The Nightmare Critters Club For Music Rebels. Staying to the side of the door, yet to go in, while Simon goes inside and explains it to the group. Baba and Dogday do the same with her standing by the door and Dogday explains it to his members. Then, Baba calls Catnap and start talking. "Oh, hey BB. What's up?" Catnap says while casually walking inside. At the same time, Baba walks in front of the room. "Oh nothing much Naps, just heading inside your club." She says as she also walks inside. Now both of them have the attention of the members of their opposite group. "Yeah same here BB, I'm inside your club right now." Catnap said. By now, both of them have their phones on loudspeakers for the members to hear. And after a couple hand signals, the members of the two clubs all crowded around Catnap and Baba. "Ok ladies and gentlemen here's the plan. We are gonna put on a performance a week from now and we can't see each other but there's nothing against talking. So any ideas?" Catnap says first. And after a while of brainstorming Bubba gets an idea.
"Maybe we could perform two songs that are pretty similar in chords maybe?" He asked. And after asking around a lot, Baba had an idea for the two songs. "Hey remember when we were kids and we each brought one song to listen to?" She asked. "Oh yeah! I remember that. I brought Sexy Sadie and you brought Karma Police." Catnap replied. "And somehow they were actually pretty similar." Baba said, finishing Catnap's sentence. "I have a thought." Dogday spoke up. "What if we take the instrumentals for the two songs, and we swap the vocals for them? That would be pretty unique right?" Dogday finished. "And I could help with the mixing and the technical aspect." Bubba remarked. "Alright, is that good for you BB?" Catnap said to Baba. "Hell yeah! I had that thought when we first listened to it you know?" Baba replied. ..

Then all the two clubs did for the following week was practicing the songs and Bubba mixing them together so that they could have a good reference on how it would sound. And after some rehearsals on getting everyone's instrument to match and to get to play, they were ready and just in the nick of time too. Because the day of the performance is here. Many students and teachers gathered round the auditorium, ready to see another show. "Ladies and Gentlemen, Teachers and Students. After an experiment process sanctioned by the student council, we are now ready to show you the results. Here's the band who's gonna perform first, introducing Catnap and The Nightmare Critters!" The announcer yelled out, making the audience roar and cheer. The Nightmare Critters walked out looking as usual except for Catnap, he walked out with a fitting grungy aesthetic with mostly black leather. And his hair was a sort of pompadour. Catnap then sat down on his piano and started to talk into the microphone. "Thank you all for coming everyone, we have a special theme for you all where we swapped the instrumentals for two songs. So let's get right into this." Catnap said. The audience cheered and applauded, and after a longish moment of the instrumental, Catnap started singing.
"Sexy Sadie, what have you done?"
The crowd cheered for Catnap, but the lyrics of Sexy Sadie being sung while the Karma Police instrumental is being played was quite the whiplash but it still felt somewhat fitting.

The backing vocals of Rabie Baby, Alister Gator, and Poe. Were making a sort of "woh woh woh woh" sound. Which made the audience cheer.

The backing vocals were now saying a sort of "see see see see" kind of sound.

Most people in the audience were even pulling out their phones and turning on the flashlight.

And with that, Catnap and The Nightmare Critters had finished their song. They then started to go backstage, where Baba was waiting with The Smiling Critters. "Alright you guys, you're next. Good luck." Catnap said to all of them. They replied with a few nods and were about to go onstage. "Well, wasn't that a beautiful performance? And now we have the second part of our performance here ready to rumble because we have Baba Chops and the Smiling Critters!" The announcer yelled out making the crowd cheer and roar probably even louder than before. Baba had the same black and white dress but now she had a stud encrusted jacket, courtesy of Craftycorn. After a little bit, they then got themselves ready. With a starting few notes of Bubba's viola, Baba started to sing.
"Karma police, arrest this man"
The audience cheered again, this time a bit more loudly since they already knew the twist of the performance. With the Beatles instrumental being played with the Radiohead vocals.
"He talks in maths
He buzzes like a fridge
He's like a detuned radio"
Baba sang with all her might since she was leading vocals while she never learned an instrument of her own because her only musical talent was singing. And a lot was riding on her again.
"Karma police, arrest this girl
Her Hitler hairdo is making me feel ill"
The backing vocals of Bobby, Crafty, and Picky were now almost choir like.
"And we have crashed her party

And again, people in the audience were taking out their phones and turning on their flashlights, swaying them to the beat.

The choir like before were doing the same "oooh" sound. The song picked up speed to almost sounding like Karma Police instead.

Baba sings a few indescribable adlibs while the choir did the same.

Baba held the note she sung and slowly the song came to an end. And with a standing ovation from the audience, Catnap and The Nightmare Critters went back up onstage with massive smiles. Bowing all at the same time. "Thank you all so much! We love you all!" They all said in unison as they all waved goodbye when the curtains drew close.
