Month 9 Pt 2

There was no Addams in history known to back down from a fight, it wasn’t in their nature, hence why while surrounded by a crowd of werewolves Wednesday and Gomez both stood respectively armed with a rapier, prepared to use them.

And Lilith, well she was armed with a sword, and she felt spectacular, very cutesy, very mindful, very demure.

This was for Enid and Wednesday would fight to the ends of the earth for her, and their child.

Lance glared at Steve although Steve didn’t dignify the man with such a warm gesture.

“We want the Sinclair children back.” Steve let out a long winded breath glancing at the group that stood with him.

“I don’t see any Sinclair’s here.” He looked to Remus, “Do you?” The young adult shook his head, “No? I see only Addams’ here, great that means you can leave.”

Lance growled at Steve threateningly, and the man took it personally flashing his bright golden eyes.

“Remus! Come boy and bring your brothers and sister we’ve come to take you home.” The attempts at scaring him to submission failed when Lance noticed that Remus didn’t even flinch.

And the pheromones fell short when they were immediately repelled by a dozen wolves obviously stronger than Lance.

“He’s not going anywhere with you.” Lance let out a growl,

“This has nothing to do with you.” It was Wednesday that responded,

“On the contrary, Esther and Murray Sinclair’s abysmal treatment of their children has everything to do with us, when Enid is carrying my child.” The man scoffed,

“It’s a family matter, now if you won’t hand them over for them to be punished and returned home then we will fight you for them.” Steve shrugged,

“Very well then, it looks like we are going to war.” Lance growled seemingly taking on an arrogant persona at the difference in numbers.

Steve was after all only accompanied by a fraction of the packs total population, but Lance didn’t know that.

“Oh yeah? You and what army? Because from what I can see there’s more of us then their are of you.” Steve smirked, raising his arms, this one.

Natasha and her detachment emerged from the shadows of the forest and Yelena’s detachment approached from their position close to the Manor.

“This one.” They were outnumbered at least 5 to 1, but that didn’t stop Lance’s ego driven feud.

“We won’t leave without them.” Steve nodded,

“Then you won’t be leaving at all. Kate, Yelena’s missed you.” Kate smiled walking away from the crowd of Sinclair’s into the open arms of her mate.

Yelena, she was mated to the enemy.

Lance was enraged, “Kate what the hell are you doing?”

The brunette shrugged, “Declaring my allegiance what does it look like?” That only served to further anger the self proclaimed ‘alpha’.

“If you don’t return to us, you are no longer welcome in this pack.” Kate shrugged her head resting on Yelena’s shoulder as she embraced her from behind.

“I am totally okay with that. But unlike you both me and Yelena welcome anyone with good intentions into the North Atlantic pack.” At least a dozen Sinclair’s walked away from Lance, joining the Pack that stood vigilantly behind Steve.

Lance was losing, and he wasn’t taking it well. “Return those you have stolen from us and we will leave peacefully.”

Steve smiled, removing his suit blazer and tie tossing them off to the side as he rolled up his shirt sleeves, “Well y’know that’s the thing about peace, it’s fragile and impermeable, so are we going to fight or what?”

Perhaps in another universe Lance wasn’t stupid enough to challenge a pack that currently outnumbered them by five times the numbers.

But that universe was not this one, thankfully Steve took pity on the poor bastards, “Wednesday, Gomez, Nat, Peggy, Yelena, on me. Everyone else stay back.”

Lance eyed Steve carefully, “Are you really that confident?”

Steve shrugged, “Anyone who doesn’t wish to die, stand down, because this will be a bloodbath, and Wednesday is armed, and you e threatened her wife and child so the chances of survival fall below 1%… if that.” Wednesday glared at Steve.

“She’s not my wife…yet.”

Would it have been entirely morally wrong for Enid to jump Wednesday the moment that she walked back into the ballroom, covered in the blood of those she previously considered family.

Yes.

Did she do it regardless?

Yes.

“Enid why is Yoko attempting to contact me on my cellular device?” Enid head whipped around to face Wednesday, grabbing what Wednesday considered the offending item from the raven’s outstretched hand.

She reached into her pocket pulling out her own phone to notice the two dozen missed calls from Yoko, 17 from Davina and 8 from Bianca.

“Uh I don’t know let me find out.” The phone only managed two rings before Yoko answered bear screaming into her end of the phone.

“Bitch, your parents are in the hospital?! What the fuck happened.” Thank fuck, she didn’t know about the baby. Yet.

Enid smiled bashfully, “Well funny story actually…”

“Lilith I swear if you’re swapping saliva with Colin, then I will murder you.” Lilith scoffed emerging from the Kitchen her phone in hand,

“That was once, you have to let it go. And no actually I’ve found someone that I might actually wanna do more than sleep with, she goes to your school, actually recognise her?” She flashed her screen at Wednesday, and Wednesday narrowed her eyes,

“Bianca Barklay, you could do worse, I thought she was still hung up over Xavier.” Lilith shrugged,

“I wouldn’t care either way this girl could run me over with her jeep, and I would thank her.” Wednesday ignored her cousin busying herself with cleaning her sword collection.

“There are better forms of torture than that cousin, I’m disappointed that’s your limit.” Lilith rolled her eyes.

“Fine I would let this woman step on my throat and stab me violently before burning me alive, as long as she let me-,” Wednesday didn’t need to know anymore.
