Month 6 Pt 3

"Wednesday?" The raven shot up from her sitting position thankful that she had swallowed the poison that was the caffeine and energy concoction, as she stood fervently.

"Enid needs me." Lilith could have murdered and hugged her simultaneously in that moment but she wasn't given them the chance, as Wednesday stormed out of the room, presumably to make travel arrangements.

It was a 43 hours drive or a six hour flight, time was not in their side.

Yes, theirs because Wednesday was truly going mad if she thought that Lilith wasn't tagging along.

"Thing, are you ready?" The appendage nodded as he was strapped into a rocket that appeared to be pointed toward San Francisco.

"And you know where you're going." Another nod, "Alright this rocket has just enough fuel to get you to San Francisco, when you get there find Enid, tell her we will be there as soon as we can."

Lilith smiled as Thing signed back to her,
- Does Wednesday know about this?

Lilith avoided the question, "No, Okay, 3...2...1... lift off."

Her reasoning was sound, if Thing could get there in six minutes apposed to six hours they could avoid the potential for a Rom Com level of idiocy where Enid and Wednesday try to find each other but miss each other entirely.

Enid needed to stay put or at the most make her way to a private air field, where Wednesday and Lilith would pick her up and take her back to the Addams family home.

She wasn't fucking around with the whole, I went to your house, you went to mine, bullshit, she didn't have the energy for it, it was six in the fucking morning.

"One word and I will murder everyone you've ever cared for." Lilith hummed as she settled into a comfortably upholstered seat, on one of the many Addams family jets.

"That's a short list cousin, but I do believe than I am right, Enid cares for you in equal to the amount that you care for her." Wednesday's glare was murderous,

"I will staple your mouth shut." Lilith raised her hands in mock surrender.

"No need I'll be quiet for now, but I want it on record that this will be mentioned at your future wedding."

It took Think exactly 6 minutes and 13 seconds to land in San Francisco, and a further 4 minutes and 12 seconds to locate where exactly he was.

In his defence the rocket didn't exactly drop his in Enid's back yard, which is what he will say to Lilith when he sees her again.

The Sinclair household had nothing on the Addams family mansion, in size nor affection.

Most people will say that the 1% don't love their kids, that they spend all their days working and in meetings, while the 11.6% of Americans living in poverty love their kids more despite not having as much to provide them.

It seemed the Sinclair, and the Addams' were statistical anomaly's.

Although it did appear that the Sinclair's weren't living below the poverty line much, so perhaps they fit into the middle class level of indifference toward their children rather than the 1%'s plain neglect.

Getting into the house seemed to be the most difficult part of the job, Enid was asleep, and considering it was only 3 am, that was to be expected, which meant that Thing was forced into prying open the window and tumbling into the room.

From that point on what he needed to do was unclear. He was there but Wednesday's vision and the time difference gave him about a 3-6 hour window of doing absolutely nothing.

Enid's bed looked comfortable.

"So what are you going to do once we get there? Because I don't think Enid will appreciate her parents being murdered." Wednesday grumbled under her breath as she read one of her books.

"I will do whatever she desires of me, but she will be coming home with us." Lilith nodded contented,

"You're turning into Gomez." She caught the Ninja star that was thrown placing it in the table.

"That was a torturous comparison, take it back." Lilith shook her head,

"No. And the next stage will be you in his suits, calling Enid Cara Mia, I will be taking pictures." Wednesday glared, Lilith smirked,

"I will have you ejected from this flight." Lilith giggled,

"Now is that a threat or a promise?"

Six hours is a long time, an exceedingly long time in fact, not that Lilith noticed, after having consumed a bottle of whiskey and half a bottle of bourbon she was out like a light.

A light with a bulb that Wednesday wanted to blow but that wasn't important. What was important was the immediate extraction of Enid from a family that obviously didn't care for or love her the way that her wolf deserved.

Enid was the very definition of sunshine, she is the colour to Wednesday's otherwise Monochrome world.

She would burn the world for her gladly, with nothing but a sinister smile as the building around them turned to dust.

That wasn't the curse, that was simply Wednesday's way of showing that she loves. The curse made you obsessive and entirely devoted, but Wednesday already was.

Perhaps that was the true nature of the curse the realisation that to love is to love entirely and completely. To be forever doting and at the mercy of another person.

Wednesday would never admit it. But she loved Enid Sinclair long before she realised that the curse had struck her, or Tyler kissed her.

She loved her in every moment, in every giggle, at every sight of colourful things that would never encroach her side of the room.

To be an Addams is to love completely and entirely.

Wednesday loved with her soul. Perhaps they were one and the same.

"Mom please-," Her mother knew, after six months of hiding and attempting to ignore the growing issue, she knew.

"No I refuse to house a slut under my roof, you are a disappointment to the family name, first you couldn't wolf out and now this, I want you out, you and that bastard baby you carry." Remus wrapped his arms around Enid, his posture rigid as he stared defiantly at his mother.

"Mom-," Esther interrupted Remus, not exactly an uncommon occurrence but he was through with her.

"And any of you that want to help her can get out too, I won't allow our family to be ruined by such sacrilege." Seven brothers, and every single one of them walked her upstairs, every single one of them packed a bag for themselves.
