Month 6 Pt 2
Lilith and Wednesday had always shared an interesting dynamic, two Addams’ born around the same time they were forced into continual battles for the spotlight since infancy.
Which consequently created a constant desire to one up the other between the pair.
If Lilith was initiated into the family at 6, Wednesday did it at 5.
If Wednesday became a wanted criminal in 2 states, Lilith was wanted in 12 states.
It was a constant battle, and neither yielded or had any intentions of yielding.
But for some unfathomable reason the universe made them family, it forced a love, a care upon one another regarding the other that neither could ignore or disregard, despite the overwhelming desire to.
Lillian cared about Wednesday as much as she would deny that sentiment, she did care for the small raven and her wellbeing. It was the reason that at two am, a time she would be in bed and if not asleep reading something on ao3, but she wasn’t.
No she was stood in a library, a place she vowed not to venture into beyond the paradox that was school, with a stick of chalk in hand as she ranted like a lunatic to a person that she previously thought to be a genius.
Wednesday was not a genius Wednesday was a dumb dumb. She might possess an IQ above the standard of a genius but she was in fact unequivocally a dumb dumb.
And Lilith would write that on her grave if her evening- well morning continued like this. She briefly considered if she would have retained more of her sanity on the run with her mother wearing noise cancelling headphones every night to block out the sound of them fucking.
But the fact remains Wednesday loves Enid, Enid loves Wednesday. Somehow, something is keeping them connected and that very same thing is driving Wednesday insane.
Delightful.
“She shifted on a blood moon! Which is like really difficult to do, but she did it because you were in danger.” Wednesday sat back on the couch, her shirt sleeves rolled up, as she nursed a concoction of coffee, energy drinks, pure caffeine and pure adrenaline in a whiskey glass, her head in her hands.
“The entire school was in trouble, that proves nothing, it could have been due to any number of things.” Lilith grumbled under her breath, swears in Romanian occasionally slipping out, she was going to murder her.
“Okay well what about the fact that as a newly transitioned werewolf she didn’t attack you, like at all, in fact she actually protected you!” Wednesday went to respond, to yet again dash Lilith’s hopes that she was finally catching on to what Lilith was saying, but she instead paused.
She didn’t have a counter argument for that point, until, “She shifted on a blood moon perhaps that simply means that she has a different level of control and consciousness while in wolf form, and therefore it has nothing to do with me.”
If Lilith didn’t know about baby Sinclair-Addams delivery date tbd, she would actually stabbed Wednesday through the heart.
Although even if she had it wouldn’t have been permanently, it was the second of many Addams family curses, an Addams cannot permanently murder another Addams, it was how they so often got away with inflicting torture upon one another.
But Lilith in that moment swore upon every deity that she would find a way to break that curse and murder Wednesday in the most violent and brutal fashion she could possible manage.
“Why won’t you just admit that there is a chance that Enid loves you potentially even as much as you are intolerably devoted to her?!” Wednesday let out a sigh, setting her toxic concoction on energy on the coffee table.
“Because if that were the truth, then I would be taking Enid from the boy she’s had a crush on for years that she finally managed to ask out, and confess her feelings for. And above all that I would have to admit that I have been nothing but an absolute failure in my relationship with Enid.” She ducked the stick of chalk Lilith lobbed at her,
“And I don’t fail ever.” She caught the second stick setting it down next to her drink. Lilith stiffed her face into a pillow, screaming.
“Did she invite you to San Fransisco over the break?” Wednesday nodded opening her mouth to respond but Lilith wasn’t finished.
“And she hugged you, after you acted like a complete dick.” Another nod,
“And she saved you from The Hyde, in wolf form which she shifted into for the first time to save you.” Wednesday grumbled,
“On a blood moon which is rare in wolves anyway. And she is on the magical family tapestry.” Wednesday glared at her,
“If this went to court with this evidence I would win, judges verdict, guilty of being oblivious to Enid’s feelings, and not guilty by reason of insanity at failing at yours and Enid’s relationship, and court mandated mediation between you and Enid until one of you finally fucking confesses.” Wednesday drank her concoction, downing it as if it were a shot.
And when Lilith finally thought that she had made some form of progression, Wednesday stood, “Enid has made no attempts to engage in romantic terms and has expressed a desire to date Ajax since I started at Nevermore-,”
Lilith threw a book at her, a book on pregnancy believe it or not, she caught the book her neck snapping back as she was plunged into a vision.
“Mom please-,” That was Enid’s voices she was crying,
“No I refuse to house a slut under my roof, you are a disappointment to the family name, first you couldn’t wolf out and now this, I want you out, you and that bastard baby you carry.” Enid was crying into some boys chest, the baby’s father?
No they looked too similar, that must be one of her many mentioned brothers.
“Mom-,” The woman Esther interrupted,
“And any of you that want to help her can get out too, I won’t allow our family to be ruined by such sacrilege.”
