Lucy Heartfilia X Fem! Reader - Cuddles [PLATONIC]
*BACKSTORY: LUCY AND READER RAN AWAY TOGETHER. THEY’RE BEST FRIENDS. THIS IS PLATONIC AS PLATONIC GETS*
It had been a long day. You, Lucy, Natsu, and Happy had just gotten to the inn you were staying at for the mission. The four of you were exhausted and all you wanted to do was sleep. The image of an actual bed was the only thing that kept you going. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with the room. It only had one bed and a couch instead of two beds and a couch. The staff couldn’t do anything to change it and you were all too tired to argue so you just took it.
You and Lucy had told Natsu that the two of you were going to take the bed and that he could have the couch. He just nodded sleepily and continued walking to the room. Natsu got there before you did, and when you walked into the room he was on the bed, snoring, Happy on his stomach.
“I swear to god,” you muttered under your breath. “I’m going to punch him.”
“Don’t waste your energy tonight. Do it tomorrow when he least expects it,” Lucy said to you.
“Okay.”
“You get one half I get the other?” Lucy asked.
“Sure. Lemme steal some pillows from the jerk on the bed. Can you get some blankets from the front counter?”
“Yup!” Lucy walked out of the room and when she came back you were curled up in a ball on the couch, book in hand. She threw a blanket at you and all she could hear was a muffled little, ‘Hey’ be whined from underneath it. Lucy stifled a laugh when you pulled it down and your hair was all static-y.
“They only had one blanket so we’re going to have to share.”
“Fine by me,” you said.
“Okay.”
You laid down on the couch and Lucy plopped down on top of you. Being best friends, the two of you were no strangers to cuddling with each other. Lucy had her head on your chest and you idly played with her hair. She fell asleep quickly, soft snores coming from her mouth while you kept reading your book. Pretty soon you couldn’t keep your eyes open and you fell asleep, the book long forgotten.

“They’re cuddling Natsu!” Happy said.
Natsu laughed loudly, “We should wake them up with water!”
“Do that and you’re dead, Dragon Boy,” you said darkly. They both froze in fear and when they ran away you were hot on their heels. You had forgotten all about Lucy and didn’t hear her land on the floor with a yelp.
“Natsu!” She yelled.
Natsu and Happy ran faster while being chased by two scary women. They kept laughing and that made you run faster to catch them. You managed to grab hold of Natsu and Lucy got Happy. Putting Natsu into a head-hold, you gave him a noogie until he was begging you to let him go.
“No! You took the bed from me and this is only PART of your punishment!” You yelled. He paled and struggled even more.
“You deserve this Natsu,” Lucy said.
“But I was tired!”
“Does it look like I care?” You said. People were starting to stare but you didn’t care. Natsu had to know that what he did was a dick move. Natsu stopped struggling and you made the mistake to loosen your hold on him. He escaped with a laugh and took off, not even getting five paces before face-planting onto the dirt road. Lucy and Happy burst into laughter as Natsu groaned.
“That’s what you get you jerk! Next time you’re sleeping outside and we’re taking the train instead of walking,” you said, a smug grin on your face.
“No!” Natsu whined. “Anything but that!”
“No can do. Now let’s go catch a train, shall we?” An evil grin was on your face and Lucy was copying you. Grabbing Natsu’s collar, you proceeded to drag him to the train station, ignoring his pleas for forgiveness.
