Chapter 7

With the news of Louise’s engagement becoming known she had tried to keep a low profile but as the sister to the boy who lived, that had been easier thought then doing it. Sighing to herself, Louise laid in the luxurious bed, knowing full well that she would have to get out of the bed. Removing the silk covers, Louise got up, walking over to the window looking out over Locksley village. It was when she looked out over the village, that she realised her life would change significantly when she marries Sir Guy of Gisborne. Up until that day, she had been known as Louise Calypso Lily Potter-Black, sister to the boy who lived, a witch and most importantly a friend to many.
Glancing out of the window, she noticed dust was riding up and a small frown appeared, realising that whoever it was, was heading towards Locksley Manor. With her just waking up, Louise was unaware that Guy was absent, due to her deciding to have a lazy morning after the events of the past few days.
Not realising or noticing who the rider was, Louise turned away, making her way over to the bed, sitting down. It was only when the bedroom door opened that she realised it was her fiancée, who she seemed to love more and more as each day went by.
“You’re awake,” Guy asked, surprised to see her awake as the guard downstairs had informed Guy that Louise was still in their bedroom.
“I hope so,” Louise stated, “But you’re not usually home at this time,” she stated, getting up and wandering over to him, wondering what could have brought him home so early in the day.
“Important job for me to take care of,” Guy explained, knowing why Louise had said what she did. It was unusual for Guy to be at Locksley Manor during the day.
Wrapping his arms around Louise, he whispered into her ear, one word, “You.”
Listening to the reply, Louise wasn’t convinced of his reason returning home. With the reason, her mind was screaming that something wasn’t right, but hearing the one word he whispered, Louise raised an eyebrow in surprise, feeling butterflies in her stomach.
“Why me?” she whispered, wrapping her arms around his body, looking into his magical, dazzling, blue eyes.
A sly smirk appeared on the face of Sir Guy of Gisborne, moving a strand of hair from her face, tucking it behind her ear, “Wait and see,” He replied, whispering, leaning in and kissing her on the lips.
As their lips, touched each other’s, the butterflies intensified in Louise’s stomach. Even though it might have seemed impossible to do, Louise pulled away, very hesitantly. It was like that she was pulling away before it got anymore heated.
“You need to get dressed,” He whispered, turning to leave the room, leaving Louise on her own.
Watching Guy leaving the room, she raised an eyebrow, wondering why he was telling her to get dressed and also amazed on why Guy was home so early. Deciding to get into a simple, elegant yellow and white striped dress, tying her hair up into a ponytail, before putting a pair of white ballerina shoes on.

Leaving the bedroom, Louise made her way downstairs, expecting to see Guy. However, she was surprised to see the four people who could help her plan her big day. Surprised to see Harry, Ginny, Fleur and Hermione there, she began to wonder if this was one of the reasons in why Guy had come home early.
“What are you all doing here?” Louise asked, allowing her gaze to go between the four of them.
“To see you. Harry told us about the other day,” Fleur replied.
Listening to the reply, Louise raised an eyebrow, quickly glancing at Harry wondering if he had said anything about the pregnancy. If he had said anything, Louise was uncertain on how she was going to react but it was most likely that she would scold him.
“And what exactly did he say?” Louise asked.
“Just that you had been taken ill,” Ginny replied.
“And we also thought that you may like some help in planning a big day,” Hermione said.
Relieved to hear that Harry hadn’t said anything, although she should have known that he wouldn’t. However, it was Hermione’s words which intrigued her the most. Help in planning a big day.
“Guy has been to see you,” Louise said, wondering if either of her friends or brother would confirm it or whether they would try to keep the truth away from her. Either way, she knew that Guy must of have had a part to play in this.
“He did and he also suggested that we help you,” Ginny explained. She knew that it was better to tell Louise the truth, rather than keeping it a secret as Louise had a way of finding things out sooner or later, “And plus did you think, you could have a small quiet wedding day?” Ginny asked.
With the words in what Ginny was saying, Louise started to wish for a quiet wedding day but knew that was impossible due to the fact she was Harry’s sister and some people also referred to her as the girl who lived, even though she wasn’t at Godric’s Hollow when her mother and step-father died.
“I was hoping it could be,” she started, “But I guess it never will be a quiet wedding.”
“Exactly,” Fleur replied, “You are the first to get married since the battle.”
How could Louise have forgotten about the battle, when she had lost friends in who she classed as family.
“Battle?” Guy asked, curiously as his gaze fell on Louise, wondering if she was hiding anything from her.
It wasn’t until Louise heard Guy that she realised he was still present and she realised he was still present and had heard the conversation. Diverting her gaze towards Guy, she knew that she would have to reveal her secret, while expecting the worse. Knowing she couldn’t keep it hidden, Louise swallowed hardly, keeping her gaze on Guy.
“Yes a battle,” she replied, allowing her gaze to fall on her friends and Harry for a moment, “I’ll meet you there,” She said, taking the piece of paper Ginny had passed to her, as they left the manor. Turning her attention back to Guy, Louise didn’t know where to start. She had hoped that she would have been able to keep it hidden for a little while longer. However, now that was wishful thinking, realising that it must all come out in the open, even the fact that up to a few months ago, she had been on the run.
“The battle was a few months ago” Louise started, “Both me and Harry are well known and where we come from, we’re famous,” She said taking a breath, keeping her gaze firmly on Guy.
“The girl who lived,” Guy interrupted, whispering. Hearing the explanation, he was struggling to process what he had heard and figured out.
Hearing them four words, Louise was amazed and surprised to hear them as a million questions came to her. How could he know? Did someone tell him her true identity?
“How do you know?” She asked, wanting to know how he knew.
“A year ago, a man named Peter Pettigrew came to warn the Sheriff about two dangerous people, Harry and Louise. He explained that you were a witch while Harry was a wizard and that you cheated death,” Guy carried on, approaching Louise, “He didn’t say what you had done, just that you was both wanted alive, so we kept watch and then a few months ago, we was notified that you wasn’t dangerous,” Guy said taking Louise’s hands, “But I don’t care whether you are dangerous or not. I love you even if you are a witch.”

Hearing the explanation, Louise went through a ton of emotions, ranging from anger to relief. The rollercoaster of emotions started with the anger at the mention of Peter Pettigrew. He had been the reason why she hadn’t been brought up by her mum, dad and step-dad, why she had been separated from her brother? In her eighteen years, she had never felt this much hatred as she did towards Peter and with that hatred, Louise knew she could never forgive him for betraying her parents and setting one up for his murder, while he stayed safe as a rat. However, you couldn’t exactly say that Louise had cheated death as she wasn’t present on the night Lily and James was murdered. However, there were times at Hogwarts, when her life had been put in jeopardy. On one occasion in her second year, she had nearly died while helping Harry out in the Chamber of Secrets.
His last words stayed on her mind, trying to process what he had said. With relief sweeping through over her, she felt Guy’s hands on her own, smiling, “I wasn’t dangerous,” She said softly, “But I’m afraid Ginny is right about the wedding,” She stated, “Will you be informing the Sheriff?” she asked, feeling anxious about the reply.
“If he figures it out I will but until then I wont,” Guy replied, a sly smile appearing.
With the reply, Louise didn’t know what to say apart from being grateful at not having to explain everything again.

While Hermione, Ginny and Fleur made their way to the Leaky Cauldron to decorate for the surprise engagement party, Harry had decided to take it on himself, to visit the Mikaelson’s who Louise had seemed to forgotten about.
The streets of New Orleans was there usual noisy, busy streets. For Harry, it had been about ten months and nothing had changed, but he wondered on how Louise would view it after being away for eight years.
Finding the Mikaelson compound had been easier this time around, as he had remembered the location. Recollecting what Louise had told him about the Mikaelsons, they was Freya, who brought Louise up as her own, Elijah- the noble one who would do anything for either Louise or Hope and then there was Niklaus, Hope’s father who struggled to trust anyone- even his family.
If Louise knew he was here, Harry was certain that she would have something to say about it.
Arriving at the compound, Harry swallowed hardly, ringing the bell, hoping that someone was in.
“Can I help you?” a female voice asked, approaching the door taking in the boy’s appearance.
“I’m hoping you can,” Harry replied, glancing at the woman, in who he guessed was Freya, “I’ve come about Louise.”
“Is everything okay with her?” Freya asked, allowing the boy to enter, “You’re Harry, her brother,” Freya commented, remembering what Sirius had said all them years ago.
“Yes I am,” Harry replied, “And you must be Freya?” Harry asked, wondering if he had got it right, “And Louise is fine, although there is something you need to know about,” He said starting to feel nervous at going behind Louise’s back like this.
“Go on,” Freya spoke softly but sternly wondering what had happened and why Louise wasn’t here, telling them herself.
“If she knew I was here, she wouldn’t like it,” Harry started, mentally asking for Louise’s forgiveness, “But I’m not sure if you’ve heard but Louise is engaged to a man, she has only known for a few months.” Harry finished, letting his gaze stay on Freya, who seemed to be either shocked or surprised in what she had heard.
“Louise, engaged?” Freya commented, making sure she had heard him correctly.
“Yes,” Harry replied, “And the wedding will be soon.”
“And how can I help?” Freya asked curiously.
“To try and talk some sense into her or at least persuade her to postpone the wedding,” Harry replied, “Its only been a few months since the battle and I’m concerned for Louise,” Harry said softly, showing that he cared for Louise.
“I will come when I can,” Freya said, understanding what Harry meant, knowing how Louise would react, “Try and postpone the wedding for as long as you can,” Freya said, a smile appearing.
“I will try my best,” Harry said, handing a piece of paper with his address on, “Let me know when you’re coming,” Harry said, knowing that was stage one in his plan had been completed.

Having read the note, Ginny had passed to her, Louise rolled her eyes, wondering what her friends had planned. The note read
Louise and Guy of Gisborne
You are both invited to the Leaky Cauldron today at 6pm for a celebration.
Ginny
Having read the note several times, Louise wondered what the celebration was in aid of.

Throughout the day, Louise and Guy had both tried to steel moments together and by late afternoon, a simple glance to the forest and Louise felt her life was unravelling a bit more.
Noticing the silhouette approaching, Louise bit on the inside of her mouth, making her way towards the person. She didn’t need to guess who it was as by looking at the person, she immediately knew that it was Elijah Mikaelson.
“What are you doing here?” Louise asked, an annoyed tone in her voice, wondering how Elijah could have found her.
“Freya had a visitor who was concerned about you,” Elijah replied.
“Concerned, how?” Louise asked, “Who was it?” She asked, wanting to know who exactly the visitor was.
“They just said they were concerned for you,” Elijah replied, glancing at the girl in who he considered to be his niece.
“Well there’s nothing to be concerned about. I am perfectly fine and healthy,” She said, clearly annoyed, turning and making her way back to the manor.
Hearing the words, Elijah laughed silently, watching her go. She had often said those words to him and to other members of the family when there had been situations in which had bothered her.

With the unexpected arrival of Elijah, Louise returned to the manor, irritated, confused and also worried. She was mainly worried incise the rest of the family was to turn up. Making her way upstairs to the bed chamber, Louise had managed to avoid the servants, the guards and most of all Guy. In the current mood, she was in, Louise was uncertain on how she would react towards her fiancée. Closing the door behind her, Louise glanced around the room, sitting on the edge of the bed, her hands covering her face, sighing in irritation. Being sat there for a few moments, Louise was surprised to hear the clicking sound of the door handle as the door opened, with Guy entering the room.
“Louise,” Guy said softly, closing the door behind him, concerned about her.
Removing her hands, from her face, she glanced at Guy quickly, before looking down to the floor.
“Has anything happened?” Guy asked.
“No it hasn’t,” She replied, standing up in front of Guy.
“Are you certain?” He asked not entirely convinced of Louise’s answer.
“Yes I am,” Louise replied, kissing him on the cheek, “However I think we should get ready for this celebration,” She stated, noticing Guy pulling a face. He clearly wasn’t happy with the idea, but he had decided to go as it would have made Louise happy.

Arriving at the Leaky Cauldron, Louise glanced to Guy, squeezing his hand in reassurance. Although it seemed to be more for Louise, then Guy. It had been over a year since Louise had entered the establishment and throughout that year, a lot had happened with the downfall of Lord Voldemort.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine,” she said softly, keeping her gaze on Guy. Mentally preparing herself, for what may occur in the pub, Louise glanced to the rickety old sign, swinging in the gentle breeze. Removing her hand from Guy’s grip, Louise stepped forward, placing her hand on the door handle. Opening the door, Louise was confronted with darkness, a lot darker that she had seen it in the past. When both, Louise and Guy had stepped into the pub, the lights suddenly came on with a shout of “Congratulations” as people appeared from their many hiding places.
The pub was decorated rather nicely with balloons, decorations and flowers placed around the room. In the centre of the back wall was a banner which read, ‘Congratulations on your engagement, Louise and Guy.’
With how the Leaky Cauldron looked, Louise was shocked and surprised, but noticing her brother walking towards her, she wondered if he had anything to do with it.
“You did this?” She asked quietly.
“Yes, but I had help,” He replied, glancing to where Fleur, Ginny and Hermione was standing.
Seeing where Harry had glanced, Louise followed his gaze, allowing her own gaze to fall on her friends.
“Thank you,” She mouthed to them, a broad smile on filled with gratitude for them.

The next morning came around and as it did, her eyes flickered, before she could open them fully. When they were opened, Louise struggled with how bright the light was. She was unsure on what time it was, but she took a guess to say it was either late or mid-morning. Sitting up in bed, a throbbing pain in her head become noticeable. Rubbing her temples, allowing her eyes to close, she groaned quietly knowing that last night had been a good night. Before she had gone on the run, Louise had always enjoyed a good celebration, but it was always the morning after which was a problem and having a year away from such celebrations, she was now paying the price.
“You look terrible,” A male stated, with Louise reopening her eyes, allowing her gaze to fall on the person who had spoken.
Seeing that it had been Guy of Gisborne, who had said those words, she glanced coldly at him, “I’ll take that as a compliment, fiancée,” She spoke softly a cheeky smile appearing.
“Although you could have slowed down the drinks,” Guy stated, not impressed with her behaviour the night before.
Rolling her eyes at the words Guy had spoken, she knew immediately that she should have drunk a lot less than what she had, especially with being pregnant.
“I know,” She said apologetically, “But people were buying me drinks and I couldn’t exactly refuse them.” She stated, getting up and making her way towards Guy, noticing a confused expression on his face.
“It’s one of the downsides of being known as the girl who lived.” She explained, allowing her gaze to fall on the street of Diagon Alley with everyone doing their business without fear of being attacked.
“However, if its too much, I’ll understand if you want to end things,” she said quietly hoping that whatever happened, she wouldn’t be leaving heartbroken. That was one of the last things she wanted.
“Don’t be silly,” He whispered, surprised to hear such words from Louise. Wrapping his arms around her body, he gently placed his hand on her belly, “It’s me, you and this child,” he said, turning her around, kissing her gently on the lips.
“You sure?” She asked, however when she felt his touch, electricity seemed to rush around her body. The next words added confirmation and she knew that whatever happened, Guy of Gisborne was a true gentleman, who wouldn’t leave her.
Being turned to face him, Louise looked into his blue dreamy eyes, which seemed to be looking at Louise, lovingly.
“I’m sure,” Guy replied, “I’m lucky to be with a woman like you that I won’t ever let you go.”
hearing the words, Louise was surprised to hear them, but with those words came a sense of security.
“Well Guy of Gisborne, I am not letting you go either,” She said keeping her smile on her face, “Although I think I should probably go and talk to my friends.”
“About the wedding?” He enquired.
“Exactly”

Walking into the main room of the Leaky Cauldron, Louise noticed that her friends was there, walking towards them. However, as she got closer, she guessed that they were talking about something, which Louise presumed that she was the subject, as they all stopped talking upon seeing her. With her friends suddenly stopping talking to each other, Louise raised an eyebrow in suspicion, knowing full well that this was the first time in a few years, that they had been this secretive.
“What’s the secret?” Louise asked, glancing at her friends with a serious look on her face.
“Nothing,” Hermione replied, glancing towards Louise wondering if she had believed her.
Shaking her head, Louise laughed silently, “If it was nothing, you would have carried on talking when you saw me.”
“True,” Hermione said sighing , knowing that it would probably be for the best to tell Louise on what had been spoken, especially with the conversation being about her.
“A rumour has started going around, stating that you are in the family way.”
Hearing what had been said, her eyes widened in shock, wondering how the rumour may have started. Questions was quickly running through her mind but the main question which came was concerning Harry and whether he had been tricked into saying anything. There was one thing she knew for certain and in any instance, she wasn’t about to start lying to her friends.
“You can’t tell anyone,” Louise started, lowering her voice to a whisper, “It’s true. I am expecting.”
“Well we had better get this wedding planned,” Fleur said, glancing around the group, “Weasley house, two hours,” She stated as her nodded their heads in approval.
With the confirmation, the group needed, Fleur, Hermione and Ginny disappeared leaving her alone with Harry as Guy appeared in the room.
“Are you going to let them know?” Harry asked, referring to the Mikaelson’s.
“Let who know?” Guy asked, wondering who Harry was referring to.
Hearing Guy’s voice, Louise looked at him before glancing back at Harry, “Just some family friends we haven’t seen in a while,” she replied, keeping her gaze firmly on Harry, “If I get time,” She added on replying to Harry’s question.

A couple of hours had passed since the discussion at the Leaky Cauldron. By now Louise should have been at the Weasley’s house, planning her wedding day, yet she was stood outside at the Charming’s house. When she had left the Leaky Cauldron with Guy, she had decided to go and see the Mikaelson’s when Guy had left her, although she wasn’t sure on what she was going to say to the family. In the end, Louise decided not to go and would go another day- there was plenty of time to tell them. With the palms of her hands, sweating, Louise breathed deeply, knocking on the door. Standing there she was relieved when the door open, but the relief diminished slightly upon seeing David.
“Louise,” David said, surprised to see her, “Come in,” He suggested, moving out of the way to allow Louise to enter.
Entering the house, Louise glanced round, noticing that Snow and Emma was there.
“I should have told you the last time I saw you,” Louise started, holding her hands together, turning the engagement ring round on her finger, in an attempt to calm her nerves, “I’m getting married,” she said quickly, glancing down at the floor.
“What?” David said, shocked with the news. Looking over at his wife, he could tell that she had been shocked, but not as much as he was.
“You heard. Our daughter is getting married,” Snow said happily, walking over to Louise and taking her hands when she was close enough.
“No,” David said sternly, letting his gaze fall on Louise, “As your father I forbid it.”
With the tone of voice, David had used, Louise was surprised with the words he had spoken. If she thought David was overreacting she was glad that she had held of from telling them that she was pregnant. To her that piece of information could wait until her wedding day or after.
“I’m sorry but Sir Guy asked me to marry him before I knew you were my parents,” she said defensively, “And the wedding will happen whether you like it or not.”
“David, just be glad she’s told us,” Snow said, glancing at her husband.
“Is that Sir Guy of Gisborne?” Emma enquired.
“Yes, it is,” Louise replied, “As part of my family, I wondered if any of you would like to help plan my wedding day alongside a few friends of mine?” She asked, noticing that Snow and Emma had smiles on their faces, while David was scowling in disbelief.
“I would love to,” Snow replied, “Are you sure though?”
“Of course I’m sure,” Louise said smiling.
“I would like to help as well,” Emma replied with the three women glancing at David.
“I’ll come,” David said grudgingly, “But if I feel he’s wrong for you, I will speak up.”
Hearing the words, Louise smiled in relief and nodded her head, grateful that David was coming.
“Where will we be going?” Emma asked curiously.
“To my friend’s house, the Weasley’s,” Louise replied.

The journey from the Chaming’s home to the Weasleys had been uneventful. Stopping outside of the door, Louise sighed silently to herself, wondering on if her friends were waiting for her to turn up or whether they had already started without her. Knocking on the door, she opened it and made he way inside, since the Weasley’s had an open-door policy for both Louise and Harry.
“Hello,” Louise called out, wondering if anyone was here.
“In here,” Fleur shouted gently from the living room, with Louise and her family following her.
Entering the living room, Louise smiled, noticing that her friends had already started without her. Noticing the puzzled looks on her friends faces, “This is Emma, my sister and Snow and David, my parents,” Louise said, looking back at her newfound family, before allowing her gaze to fall on her friends, “Lily and Sirius adopted me.” She said, glancing to the table where the plans for the wedding were.
“So, what have we got planned?” Louise asked, making her way to the table in where they were all sat around.
“Welcome to the family,” Molly said cheerfully.
“So, the date?” Fleur asked, “Before or after?”
Hearing the questions, Louise shot Fleur an annoyed look before anyone could see the look.
“I was thinking a couple of months,” Louise suggested, “But maybe four at a push.”
“Doesn’t give us much time,” Hermione stated.
“Before or after what?” David asked, looking at Louise.
“Nothing,” Louise replied, glancing to her father. She couldn’t tell him the real reason, “And that’s why I’ve asked my friends and family to help.” Louise continued, sitting down.
“For the day, you could use the Royal Castle,” Snow suggested.
Hearing the suggestion, her eyes widened in amazement, “Castle?” she asked, trying to process what she had heard.
“Yes, a castle,” David replied.
“Sounds lovely, doesn’t it?” Ginny said, glancing at Louise.
“It’s like a fairytale, like I’m a princess,” Louise said softly, looking to her parents, “Thank you, it sounds perfect.”
Hearing the words Louise had spoken, Snow smiled to herself, knowing that Louise was indeed a Princess in another world, but there would be a time to let Louise know and this didn’t seem to be the right time to tell her.
