Summary
My favorite characters and pairings told to the tune of Taylor Swift songs. No lyrics will be included on the grounds of copywriting but the title of each song will be the title. Some of these will be connected to each other. The reason being that they are based off a story idea I have that I haven't written out yet. I'll tell you what is connected at the beginning of each chapter so if you want to learn more about a certain idea let me know in the comments!!!The updates will be a little slow. I start college on August 21 so that will be taking priority. The title is from Blank Space.

Teardrops On My Guitar (Female Harry Potter/Cedric Diggory)

The Yule Ball was supposed to be the dream come true for every female student attending. All girls wished for the handsome wizard with the charming smile leading them into a dance and treating them like they were the only girl in the world.

Fifteen-year-old Hailey Potter wanted that, and as a champion in the Tri-Wizard Tournament, she should have been granted that wish. Almost all the boys attending wanted either her or Fleur Delacour.

Almost.

The one boy Hailey wanted was with another.

She and Cedric had bonded since being the Goblet spit out their names. The seventh year Hufflepuff had been charming and sweet and everything the “Girl-Who-Lived” wanted as a date.

Except for the fact that he was madly in love with her Quidditch rival, Ravenclaw seeker Cho Chang.

The older girl was all he talked about and the fact that he had her as his date made him incandescently happy. His smile was blinding, and he stared at Cho like she was the center of his universe.

And Hailey wanted that. She wanted Cedric and his perfect mannerisms and flawless features.

She was heartbroken and had spent the nights leading up the ball crying in her dorm to the point Hermione had started to be more than concerned.

The only person who helped was her own date, Slytherin ice prince Draco Malfoy.

Draco and his Slytherin gang were some of the few people who believed her when she said she didn’t want to be in the tournament. Granted, their friendship was something they kept in private. They kept up the insults for their nosy peers’ sakes.

Granted, they hadn’t expected Moody to turn Draco into a ferret during one particularly interesting argument.

The blonde was one of the few who knew of her crush on Cedric and had asked her to the date to keep her company for the rather torturous night. He had treated her like a princess, so it wasn’t a totally horrific night.

Still, the sight of Cedric and Cho smiling, and laughing was making her want to be sick. They were the perfect couple and it made her want to scream at how much it hurt.

He kept meeting her gaze and every time she would fake a smile, trying to pretend she was okay. Draco, who kept watching her expression throughout the night, noticed every time and kept making jokes about Ron or someone else to make her laugh.

It worked, but only for a little while. Every time she saw Cedric it still felt like she was suffocating.

All she wanted was him, but she wouldn’t tell him. He was happy and that mattered more than anything.

That didn’t mean it didn’t hurt. After the ball and after comforting Hermione after the spat she had with Ron over Viktor Krum, she still crawled in bed and fell asleep, trying to hide her tears in her pillow at how unfair the world was.
