Piper POV:
I wake up in my cabin, the sun shining bright into my eyes.
Drew is painting her nails.
Without looking up, she comments:
"Finally up, Miss Movie Star?" She snickers.
"Yeah." I groan.
Me and Drew have kinda started getting along recently.
I mean, we tolerate each other.
She doesn't pick on me anymore, ever since I took the spot as Cabin Counselor, she's been able to do her hobbies freely. She thanks me for that.
"You know.."
I look at her.
"That Athena girl... Annabeth. What's the deal with you two?"
I froze.
Recently, I figured out I have a crush on Annabeth.
But Annabeth doesn't like me back.
She's already dating Percy.
"Nothing. Like, we're friends. Best friends." I smile.
"You sure?"
Drew smirks and finally looks up at me.
"Hm? Cat got your tongue?"
"Fine.."
I get down from my bed and she gestures I sit down next to her.
I hesitate but sit down next to her.
"Spill it out. Nobody else is in the cabin since you slept in." She laughed to herself.
I bit my lip but eventually gave in and told her everything. I don't even trust her that much. She could just go and tell Annabeth and I'd be doomed.
But surprisingly, she listened to me yapping for about 10 minutes.
"Is that so?" She lifted an eyebrow.
I nod and look away.
"Well, you kinda can't do anything Miss Movie Star." She blows on her nails and continues. "It sucks having unrequited crushes. But you may have chance if Annabeth and Percy break up, which I hesitate they would." She looks at me and shrugs. "It's better if you talk to someone about it though."
I look at her and nod.
"I should get going, Leo is waiting for me."
Drew continues to blow on her nails.
I get dressed and before I leave, I stand by the cabin door and say:
"Uhm, thank you, Drew. For listening to me."
Drew smirks at me.
"Just go already girl kisser."
Yep, it's still Drew.

Leo was waiting for me by the Hephaestus cabin door.
When he saw me, he ran up to me.
"Sup Pipes!" Leo smiles.
"Hey Leo." My eyes hurt and my throat is tightening.
He looks at me up and down and then asks me: "You good, beauty queen?"
"I'm fine."
"You've said that sooo many times it doesn't even sound like a word anymore."
I raise an eyebrow.
"I'm just saying, you can tell me anything, y'know???"
"It's nothing, Leo. We should just go to training."
He suspecting something. I know he is.
When Jason is coming back from Camp Jupiter, Leo's definitely gonna tell him something.
I feel stupid. I told Drew but I can't seem to tell Leo anything.
Maybe it's not the right time.
"It's better if you talk to someone about it though."
"I'm just saying, you can tell me anything, y'know???"
I'll tell him later today.
During practice, I couldn't help but stare at Annabeth. Her fighting skills are astonishing. She's astonishing.
The way her blond hair glistens in the sunlight with a grey streak visible, her sharp stormy grey eyes, her clear skin..
I was sitting there, trying to cover my blushing, giggling and kicking my feet on the inside.
Then I was brought back to reality by Percy jumping and kissing her.
And for a moment, I forgot she doesn't love me back.
Maybe in another Universe.
Maybe she'll love me back one day.

I sigh.
I'm gonna tell Leo.
There's no point in hiding it anymore.
But as I'm walking to him, a familiar voice glazed my ears:
"Piper!"
Annabeth came up to me.
"Hey Annabeth.." I smile awkwardly.
"I just wanted to say you did really well in training today." She put her hand on my shoulder.
I felt like I wanted to explode.
I really hope my face wasn't as hot as I felt it was.
"I have to get going now, talk to you later." She smiled at me and left.
Oh my Aphrodite.
Then she walked towards Percy and held his hand.
Leo ran towards me.
He stared at my face.
"Do you like Annabeth?"
"What! No..I don't like Annabeth.. I mean, I do! I don't like-like her.."
"It's obvious, Beauty Queen. Don't worry, I like girls too."
I blinked a few times.
After a few moments of silence:
"I thought you were gay?"
"I am. I said that because I wanted to comfort you." He smiled awkwardly.
I sigh and put my head in my hands.
At least I didn't have to come up to Leo and tell him personally.
