Sub-Genders
Sub-Genders in the LOG Omegaverse
Enigma (ξ)
The rarest and most unique sub-gender, Enigmas are the pinnacle of dominance in the hierarchy. They are capable of dominating all other sub-genders, including Alphas, and can resist a mating call from an Omega/Sigma in heat.
Reproductive Traits:
- Capable of impregnating any sub-gender, except other Enigmas or Male Alphas.
- Cannot conceive children; only sire pups.
Physical Traits: Highly adaptable and robust physiology. Often exude a unique scent that can be both alluring and intimidating to others.
Ruts: Occur every three months and are intense, requiring a partner to stabilize their hormonal cycles.
Social Role: Enigmas often occupy positions of power and are revered or feared for their ability to control others.
Alpha (α)
Dominant leaders, protectors, and providers in the hierarchy. Alphas exude confidence and authority, often taking charge in social and intimate situations.
Reproductive Traits:
- Siring Ability: Can impregnate Omegas, Betas, and sometimes Sigmas. Cannot impregnate Enigmas.
- Carrying Ability (Female Alphas): Very low chances of pregnancy (unless mated to an Enigma); pregnancies are high-risk until the six-month mark.
Physical Traits:
- Male Alphas: Possess a penis and testicles, with high fertility.
- Female Alphas: Have a penis and testicles with a smaller vaginal opening. They can engage in penetrative acts but rarely conceive.
Ruts: Occur every three months and are powerful, often requiring an Omega or Sigma partner to stabilize.
Social Role: Alphas are natural leaders and often hold positions of power in their communities.
Subcategories
- Dominant Alphas: Exert a strong presence and are highly sought after.
- Recessive Alphas: Less aggressive but still maintain their hierarchical dominance.
Omega (ω)
Nurturers and caregivers, Omegas are the foundation of the family unit and are highly valued for their ability to conceive and raise children.
Reproductive Traits:
- Male Omegas: Possess a small penis (without testicles) that protrudes—instead of a clitoris—above the Omega hole (vagina with a womb, cervix and ovaries). Have high fertility; cannot impregnate others.
- Female Omegas: Have a traditional female reproductive system, with high fertility rates.
Physical Traits: Generally smaller and more delicate in build, with softer pheromones that attract Alphas and Sigmas during heat cycles.
Heats: Occur every three months, making them highly fertile during this period.
Social Role: Omegas are often seen as the heart of their families and communities, though they can also face societal prejudices due to their perceived submissiveness.
Subcategories
- Dominant Omegas: More assertive and independent, capable of standing up to Alphas and Enigmas.
- Recessive Omegas: More traditional and submissive, often preferring strong Alpha partners.
Sigma (σ)
A hybrid sub-gender that combines traits of both Alphas and Omegas. Sigmas are rare and often misunderstood due to their dual nature.
Reproductive Traits:
- Male Sigmas: Have an Alpha cock (penis and testicles) and an Omega hole (vagina with a womb and ovaries). Can impregnate and conceive.
- Female Sigmas: Similar reproductive versatility, with both Alpha and Omega traits.
Physical Traits: Exhibit a balance of Alpha dominance and Omega nurturing instincts, making them highly adaptable in social and intimate settings.
Cycles:
- Rut Cycle: Occurs once a year, mirroring Alpha traits.
- Heat Cycle: Occurs once a year, mirroring Omega traits.
Social Role: Sigmas are often seen as enigmatic and versatile, fitting into both dominant and submissive roles as needed.
Beta (β)
The most neutral sub-gender, Betas are the stabilizers of society, often acting as mediators between the more extreme sub-genders.
Reproductive Traits:
- Male Betas: Can only sire pups.
- Female Betas: Can conceive but have lower fertility rates compared to Omegas.
Physical Traits: Less affected by pheromones and hormonal cycles, making them more emotionally and physically stable.
Social Role: Betas are often seen as the “everyday people” of society, balancing the extremes of Alphas, Omegas, and Sigmas.
