Scenting
Scenting is the process of marking or identifying individuals through pheromones. It is a key aspect of communication and bonding in the Omegaverse.
Purpose
- Strengthens bonds between mates, family, and close friends.
- Signals territorial claims or romantic interest.
Process
- Involves physical contact, such as nuzzling, neck touching, or rubbing.
- Scent glands, located on the neck or wrists, release pheromones during this act.
Special Cases
- Enigmas’ scenting can overwhelm other sub-genders due to their dominant pheromones.
- Alphas often scent their mates during ruts or bonding to solidify their connection.
Pheromones
Chemical signals released by scent glands to communicate with others.
Sub-Gender Traits

A bulbous swelling at the base of an Enigma/Alpha/Sigma’s penis that locks them to their partner during mating.

Duration
Knots can last anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours, depending on the Enigma/Alpha’s physiology. Sigmas have comparatively smaller duration for knots.

Mating/Bonding
