I am proud of you
It had been a couple of hours since they had seen each other and they missed each other. This was the first time that Carla had kissed a woman in public and wasn’t sure about who knew but one thing she knew was that she was proud of herself. She wanted to speak to Lisa so she decided to send her a text and see how Betsy was doing.
“ hey just wanted to check you both got home safe and Betsy isn’t feeling to awful after consuming that amount of alcohol. Been thinking about you since I got home, x “
Lisa was sat at home in the couch nursing her drunken daughter back to health after she had thrown her guts up and was sleeping on her mums lap. Lisa was stroking her hair and thinking to herself about how she could let her daughter get into this state and the only person that was to blame was Mason. She would deal with him later. She felt her phone ping and she blushed slightly when she saw it was Carla. She read the message “ hey just wanted to check you both got home safe and Betsy isn’t feeling to awful after consuming that amount of alcohol. Been thinking about you since I got home , x”. Lisa thought about the message she was going b to send.
She took a picture of her sleeping daughter on her lap and captioned it “ sleeping beauty had too much she will be severely hungover in the morning, she will be fine.” Then she typed out another message “ yes we got home safe you are so sweet for worrying and I have to say I have been thinking about you too “.
Carla looked at the message and smiled at the picture of Betsy curled into her mum and looked at the message that she sent. She decided that she wanted to hear her girlfriend’s voice so she picked up her phone and dialled. Lisa jumped slightly when her phone started ringing but was happy to see it was Carla.
“ hey gorgeous, did you miss me that much? “
“Hey lis, I did I always miss you nowadays, I wish I was in the position that Betsy was in so you could give me a head massage “
“ Carla I am so proud of you, I have to admit I wasn’t expecting you to kiss me in front of Sally, it was amazing. Are you sure you’re ok after that? “
“ of course I am ok I wanted to show you how serious I am about the whole out and proud conversation we had the other day and you deserve for me to show you every-time I am with you. “
“ I think we took Sally by surprise especially as she has only ever seen you with men, Betsy was even surprised but also found it funny. Her exact words were: it surprises me to see Carla so relaxed around you and that she can kiss a woman in public, it’s gross but kinda cute. How can that hard faced cow learn to be so soft? “
“ cheeky mare lol, well Sally has a lesbian daughter so I am sure that she will be on our side. If Betsy feels better later why don’t you come over and I can cook dinner for you.”
“ you cook dinner now that’s funny but yes that sounds great “
“ I will have you know I am an ok cook not excellent but good enough not to give my nephews food poisoning. Let me know when Betsy wakes up”.
“ Will do, just remember I am proud of you I will text you later”
“ ok speak later “
They hung up and smiled to each other as they were going to spend another night with each other and couldn’t wait.
