Suit (fluff)
"Uggh Fiyero...are you sure this is a good idea?" Came a high pitched voice from the back of his closet.
"Of course G you said you wanted to try it, so we bought it and now...now your nervous. It looks great Galinda, and Elphaba is going to love it." He reassured the blonde.
Galinda knew she was stalling, it was hard, Elphaba had only really seen her in corset dresses, skirts and blouses and now well...she wanted to try a suit. Fiyero went with her to the tailor down in town, they already had something in mind. She wanted wide legged pants with a slightly pink belt to match her tie with a pinstriped button up, if you looked closely the stripes were green. She always did say 'pink goes well with green' and just the jacket over top to complete the look. She put her hair up in a high pony, it had a slight wave in it. It wasn't pulled too tight she would get a headache but it felt right. Her make-up was hard, she didn't know what she wanted, she took nearly half-hour and could've taken longer if Fiyero didn't remind her she was due to pick up Elphaba in an hour. Natural it was.
Standing, she had to admit she looked good, she just hoped her girlfriend thought so.
Knock knock
"Come on Galinda I'm sure you look fine, hurry up" she walked out. She watched his eyes widen "How do you make a suit look better than I do?" He questioned cheekily. The blonde couldn't help but laugh at him, it was his way of reassuring her that she looked good. They went to leave before Fiyero quickly fixed her tie for her "Can't have her think you can't dress yourself" winking at her before walking away missing the eye roll she sent him.
Outside their dorm room, Fiyero was having the time of his life watching Galinda nervously try to knock on the door, it was after the fifth hesitation that he finally stepped in.
"Galinda. It's your dorm, just walk in" he spoke in a matter of fact tone.
"I can't just walk in like this, what if she hates it?" He flinch as she whisper yelled, which for wasn't really whispering.
"Just fucking knock you blonde mess" the last part was mumbled but by the glare he was shot, it wasn't so quiet.
Straightening up and adjusting her jacket and tie, Galinda knocked. Nerves shook her body, when she heard footsteps near the door.
"Galinda?" Elphaba's eyes were wide as they darkened, if Galinda was paying attention, she would've seen the dark green blush as the woman ran her eyes up and down the blonde's body. She could feel Galinda doing the same thing. The blonde was snapped out of her daze when a gentle tug on her tie grabbed her attention.
"What is this?" Elphaba question, voice laced with seduction, and she knew Galinda was falling into it.
"Uh...I.. uh I want to try something different. Do you like it?" Whilst she knew Elphaba liked it there was some insecurity in her tone. The sorcerer in front of her relaxed her shoulders and voice took on a more genuine tone.
"My sweet. No words can describe how amazing you look. It suits you so well. Get it? 'Suits you' haha cause you're wearing one" giggles erupted from Elphaba. The blonde rolled her eyes.
"You're proud of that one." Giggling as well.
"Wow Elphaba, that was worse than G's dad jokes, or is it daddy jokes now?" The prince finally spoke, teasing the couple, who flushed brightly at his comment. "Now I have to go get my date, will see you both at the dance and don't be late seriously" he called as walked back out down the hallway.
"Sooo want to be late to the dance?" Galinda wiggled her eyebrows at her girlfriend who laughed, tugged her further into their dorm.
2 hours later
"I thought I said not to be late ladies. Unbelievable." He wasn't mad at the two, in fact he took great pride in teasing them. He was about to comment on their attire but Nessa beat him to it.
"Galinda, I hope that dress my sister is wearing just got rumpled on the boat ride here." Galinda wasn't scared of Nessa more the other way around, but still knowing that your girlfriend's sister, knows you just had sex with her...well that was a little uncomfortable.
"Well...I.."
"And your suit? The excuse for that being messed up, I know you ironed it G" fiyero teased again.
"Okay leave Galinda alone, I messed the suit up" the blonde blushed as her girlfriend winked at their friend's.
"Alright" she clapped her hands "who wants a drink? My shout" cheers erupted from the table. Elphaba want to come with her, she held Elphaba's hand tightly as to not lose her in the crowd as she led them to the bar. Waiting to be served, Galinda let herself admire Elphaba, eyes alight with joy and smiling widely, she fell even more in the love with the pretty girl next to her.
"You're staring" Elphaba spoke amused into her ear.
"Yeah well, you're beautiful Elphie, it's hard not to" they shared a loving kiss before collecting drinks and leading into a night to remember.
