I don't want to feel like that
Hope was a difficult child, but her parents didn't pay much attention to it. They just wanted happiness for their daughter. However, Hope didn't always show love for them. She lived with her grandmother, and her grandmother, her father's mother, was a very harmful person. I wonder who their daughter is like?
"Hope, come here, please," the red-haired girl's mother called.
"Yes, Mom, what?" she replied, looking at her mother and mentally berating herself for being so late at Josie Saltzman's.
Hayley, Hope's mother, loved her daughter, but she couldn't stand it when her rules were broken. She was annoyed that her daughter had broken one of the rules outside the home.
"Hope, I want to talk to you," Haley said at once. The girl glanced at her mother, startled by her tone, not to mention the stern look in her eyes.
At least a minute passed, but neither of them started a conversation. Finally, the woman sitting on the sofa decided to break the silence.
"Hope, we love you, you know, but we didn't move here so you could go out so late, and especially not with Forbes's," Hayley was more upset than angry.
Mother and daughter looked at each other with murderous eyes.
I've already told you that Hope is not an easy child.
A few more minutes passed, and Hope couldn't stand the silence any longer.
"Mom, stop being silent, it's killing me! Punish me, but not like this", she said, getting up from the couch and taking a step toward the stairs leading to the room. Fortunately, her room was filled with silence, unlike the scandals that occurred last summer. They've moved from New York to the small town of Mystic Falls, and unfortunately for her family, Hope just wants to live like other teenagers.
"Hope Andrea Mikaelson, my father and I didn't just move from a big city to a small town. Do you have any idea how much trouble that caused? Or should I remind you that this isn't just about one girl and her boyfriend?"
Hope thought for a moment. Why do parents make things so difficult? She had been asking this question since she was 5 years old. It was a question that kept running through her mind.
Thankfully, Hayley's cell phone rang, and Hope was happy that she didn't have to endure this conversation any longer.
"No, Caroline, it was dangerous, I told you what happened last year," Hope decided to eavesdrop on the conversation between the two women on the other end of the phone.
"No, Care, of course, okay, yes," Hope didn't understand why their parents were acting like this. She was just hanging out with a beautiful brunette.
The blue-eyed girl decided to climb out of the window to clear her thoughts. Her mother wouldn't notice her absence anyway."
Luckily, her mom had gone to sleep and got a headache from the phone call with her neighbor.
Hope wandered down the street, wishing she could talk to Josie Saltzman about anything again.
