Life is not life without you

As Hope walked down the alley, a brunette was walking towards her, but unfortunately, her was not alone.

Lizzie didn't recognize Hope at first.

"Hey, Hope!" Josie was the first to say hello, but Lizzie didn't say anything, as if she'd just swallowed her tongue.

"Hi, I see you're all right?" "the red-haired girl didn't want to upset the brunette."

"Why do you ask? Is something wrong with you, Hope?" Josie was concerned. Hope lifted the corners of her mouth slightly and shook her head.

"It's okay, really," she said, looking at the blonde standing next to the brunette. "How are you, Lizzie?" The short girl asked.

"It's all right, little gnome" - oh, that Lizzie and her pranks!

"Lizzie, don't listen to her, Hope, will you come to the park with us, do we go there often?" Josie prayed to God that the redhead would agree.

Thankfully, Josie couldn't believe that a girl she cared about would accept an invitation to go out with the twins.

The three girls went to the park, but unfortunately Josie was worried about Hope. She assumed that something had happened at home, but she didn't know what it was.

"So where did you come from?" "Oh, Lizzie's questions."

"From New York," Hope replied.

The three of them were eating ice cream cups, and Josie's twin wanted to keep asking her stupid questions. Why, why, and what happened when the Mikaelson family moved to a squalid town? No one knows.

"Have you lived here long?" The girl asked the two twins, who were enjoying an ice cream cone.

"We were born here, so yes, we know everything from A to Z," the younger Saltzman shrugged, and Hope just smiled sweetly at her.

God knows what's going on in their heads, and Josie certainly doesn't.

After a while, Lizzie met up with one of the guys she was good friends with. She left with him, telling her twin that they would be there around one in the morning.

So, the two girls, who were finishing their ice cream, were left alone together.

None of them were going to break the silence. They just enjoyed the birdsong and the peace of the city.

Thankfully, Josie broke the silence first.

"So what happened to you?" she looked at the red-haired girl, who was looking thoughtfully into the distance.

"What makes you think something's wrong with me?"

Okay, Josie worries too much about people.

"Interesting". Come on, is she interested?

"I'm fine, I swear to you!"

They just sat comfortably in silence, listening to the birds sing.

So beautiful is such a sight that you want it to remain so forever. Silence, birdsong and, of course, a person who warms your heart, just his presence.

At 21:56, Hope went to bed. She'd given Josie her phone number so they'd always be in touch, but when Hope was about to send a message, a picture of her with her best friend popped up on the phone screen. It was Maya, her best and closest friend.

"Maya, I'm so glad you're still with me," the younger Mikaelson rejoiced at Maya's video call.
"I miss you," Hope made a puppy — dog face.

Maya just laughed at this cute painting.
"I miss you very much too, little Hope," the blue-eyed girl was embarrassed by her best friend's words.

"You're coming to see me for my 18th birthday, aren't you?" The girl who was waiting for an answer stiffened slightly.

"Of course, wherever you go, I'm always there, you idiot!"

Hope had been very fond of her best friend when she lived with her grandmothers, both of whom were even more bitchy than her mother. Maya was always there, always happy.

"I love you, Maya," the girl on the other side of the screen saw that her best friend's tears were about to come out.

"Hey, little Hope, don't you dare, I'll be there for you as soon as I can, I promise."

The best friends talked a little more, okay, I'm lie, until morning, because Hope could only trust her. And tell her what's bothering her."
