Second Year
You like a pretty boy, with a pretty voice. Who is trying to sell you something, something that you already have. -Lovers Rock/ TV Girl
The boy was short.
He was arrogant.
He wasn’t anything special at all.
Except for the fact that he was charming and funny and oh, so beautiful.
Lily didn’t know why he bothered her so much.
She watched as he threw a grape into the Mary’s mouth from across the table and she seethed, feeling angry heat blossom inside her.
Mary deserved better.
Lily was acting strangely.
Anyone else would be better.
Or maybe Lily was overreacting.
Mary smiled at her, shining lips opening wide, crinkling the skin into dimples, turning away from her boyfriend to beckon Lily over from where she was standing in the doorway of the Great Hall, and the anger faded away.
Maybe Sirius wasn’t so bad.
