The Masked Ball (Part 1)
The long-awaited day was finally here, and excitement was building at Auradon Prep. That day, Red and Ella were getting ready for the ball in Ella and Bridget's room, while Chloe was getting ready in the room she shared with Red, along with Bridget. The two groups of friends shared moments of complicity, each on their own.
In Ella's room, Red was trying out different hairstyles and makeup, laughing with her friend at each new attempt. "You look beautiful, Red," Ella said as she adjusted a strand of hair. "Chloe is going to be dazzled."
Red smiled, touched by her friend's words. "Thank you, Ella. I hope Chloe likes my outfit."

Meanwhile, in the next room, Bridget was helping Chloe adjust her dress. "You look stunning, Chloe," Bridget said with a smile. "Red won't believe it."
Chloe blushed slightly. "Thanks, Bridget. I can't wait to see her."
Bridget and Chloe were ready first, so Chloe texted Red to let them know. When Bridget received a text from Ella a little later saying that she and Red were also ready, they left the room to knock on the next door. Ella opened the door, and Bridget was the first to have the pleasure of seeing her partner in her ball gown.
Ella wore an elegant blue dress, with silver details that sparkled in the light. Bridget gaped at her partner's beauty. "Ella, you look beautiful," she whispered, her eyes shining with emotion.
Ella smiled, touched by the compliment. "Thank you, Bridget. You look beautiful too."
They exchanged compliments and loving glances, savoring this moment of complicity. Then Ella gave way to Red, who came out of the room, facing Chloe.
Chloe gasped when she saw Red in her blue dress with gold accents. The dress hugged her curves perfectly, making her even more beautiful than usual. Red, for his part, looked at Chloe in detail, his eyes drifting over his girlfriend's body in her red dress decorated with gold and black details. She began to blush, feeling her heart ready to jump out of her chest.
"Chloe, you are... incredible," Red whispered, his eyes shining with admiration.
Chloe smiled, moved. "You too, Red. You look beautiful."
They realized they had the same idea without even consulting each other, choosing outfits in each other's colors. A coincidence that made them smile and they exchanged a tender and sincere look.
Chloe kissed her angel's hand again, which Red still found adorable. "My angel, you are perfect."
Red smiled, touched by this gesture. "Thank you, my princess."
The four girls quickly retrieved their masks, matching their outfits. Chloe held out her arm to Red, who then put his under his princess's, kissing her just on the corner of the lips in passing. "Ready for a magical evening?" Red whispered.
Chloe smiled. "With you? Always."
They went together to the gymnasium, set up and decorated for the occasion. Fairy lights and colorful balloons adorned the room, creating a magical atmosphere. Music resonated, adding a festive touch to the atmosphere. A sumptuous buffet was set up, offering a variety of delicious dishes.
The friends enjoyed a moment together, laughing and chatting. But Bridget, the boldest of the four, quickly invited her partner to dance. "Ella, will you grant me this dance?" she asked, holding out her hand.
Ella smiled and accepted. "With pleasure, Bridget."
They headed to the dance floor, sharing a complicit moment. Bridget and Ella danced gracefully, exchanging loving glances and smiles. They chatted softly, savoring every moment of this dance. Bridget placed a tender kiss on Ella's lips, before twirling her under her arm.
From afar, Red and Chloe watched their friends, touched by this spectacle. But Chloe's gaze quickly deviated to her angel, and Red felt it, turning to look back at her. They exchanged an intense look and a loving smile.
Chloe held out her hand to Red, starting to ask the question. "Red, do you want to dan..."
But Red suddenly interrupted her. "I'm hungry, Chloe. Let's go to the buffet." She took her princess's hand and gently pulled her towards the buffet.
Chloe frowned, finding this reaction strange. She was almost sure that Red had done it on purpose, but she didn't understand why. They had already danced a slow dance not too long ago. "Red, why don't you want to dance?" she asked as Red put a piece of toast in his mouth.
Red understood that she couldn't hide anything from Chloe and blushed as she gave her answer. "I... I feel a little nervous about dancing in front of everyone. I know it's ridiculous, but..."
Chloe smiled softly, reassuring Red. "It's not ridiculous, Red. I understand. But you know, you have nothing to worry about. We're together, and I'm here to guide you."
Red nodded, feeling a little calmer. "Thank you, Chloe."
Finally, Red agreed to dance with Chloe. But just as she reached out to take her princess's hand, something interrupted them. A group of students burst into the room, throwing confetti and streamers everywhere.
Red and Chloe burst out laughing at the sight. "Well, looks like the party is really on," Chloe said with a smile.
