Hi! Please read, it's important! I just want to say that I'm French, and English is not my strong point. I fill in the gaps with the internet, but don't hesitate to tell me if I need to correct something. Thanks! Happy reading!

The Risky Plan

The resistance gathered in a dark and inconspicuous tavern. Eamon, Maddox's allied guard, was determined to free his friend and depose the tyrannical queen. The plan was complex and risky, but they had no choice. The time for action had come.

Each member of the resistance knew their role by heart. Finn, Liora, and other resistance fighters prepared themselves mentally and physically for this perilous mission. They knew that the slightest mistake could cost them their lives, but they were ready to do anything for freedom.

Eamon detailed the plan one last time:

1. The Distraction: Liora and a few resistance fighters would cause a fake riot in the city to attract the attention of the soldiers. They would throw smoke bombs and create controlled chaos to allow the infiltration team to enter the prison.

2. Infiltration: Eamon, Finn, and a small group of resistance fighters would sneak into the prison using information they had gathered on guard schedules and maps. They were to avoid the guards and disable the alarms.

3. Liberation: Once inside, they would find Maddox and free him from his cell. They were then to lead him safely out of the prison and join the rest of the resistance.

The tension was palpable as the team set off. Hearts were pounding, each step echoing in the night like a drumbeat. The fear of being caught at any moment weighed heavily on their shoulders.

Liora and her group began the distraction by throwing smoke bombs into the streets. Shouts and screams rang out, creating a climate of panic and confusion. The soldiers rushed to restore order, leaving the prison less guarded.

Eamon, Finn, and the other resistance fighters took advantage of this opportunity to infiltrate the prison. They slipped into the shadows, avoiding guards and disabling alarms with surgical precision. Each corridor traveled was a victory, but also a step closer to potential danger.

The minutes ticked by slowly, each second feeling like an eternity. The heavy silence was punctuated by the distant sounds of the riot. Eamon cautiously opened the door to Maddox's cell, and they found their friend, weakened but alive.

"Maddox, it's us. We're going to get you out of here," Eamon whispered as he freed him from his chains.

Maddox, his eyes misty with tears of relief, nodded weakly. "Thank you, Eamon..."

But the plan didn't go as planned. As they tried to sneak out of the prison, the alarm suddenly went off, echoing throughout the building. The guards, alerted by the noise, rushed towards them.

"We have to hurry!" Finn shouted, his heart pounding.

The dramatic tension rose another notch, every second a fight for survival. The resistance fighters fought bravely against the guards, their movements precise and desperate. Gunshots and screams echoed through the corridors, creating a symphony of chaos and danger.

Eamon, Finn, and the others managed to fight their way through the guards, supporting Maddox as best they could. Their anxiety was palpable, the specter of failure looming over their heads. The Queen, alerted by the alarm, sent her most fearful troops to intercept them.

The resistance fighters, exhausted but determined, continued to fight with desperate fury. Each step towards freedom was a triumph, but also a cruel reminder of the fragility of their situation. Finally, they managed to escape the prison, but the victory was bitter.

The Queen still sat on her throne, and the terrible consequences of their escape hung over them like a sword of Damocles. The resistance knew that the Queen's tyranny had not been broken, and that their act of bravery would only intensify the repression.

Eamon, out of breath, looked at Maddox with renewed determination. "You have been freed, Maddox. But the fight has only just begun."

Maddox, though weakened, nodded. "We must continue to fight. This is the price of freedom."

The resistance regrouped, knowing that the road to freedom would be long and perilous. Their hearts were heavy, but their resolve was unwavering. The Queen could not be allowed to rule with impunity. They had to find a way to depose her and free Wonderland from her tyranny.

The chapter ended on a note of mixed tension and hope. Maddox's release was a victory, but the battle for freedom had only just begun. The fate of Wonderland rested in the hands of the resistance, and they were prepared to face the terrible consequences of their actions for a better future.
