Treasure hunt and emotions
It had been a month since Chloe and Red had been a couple. Chloe had planned something special to celebrate this occasion. She had bought a silver heart-shaped pendant with a small red stone, symbolizing the love and bond they shared. She couldn't wait to give it to her angel.
But to her surprise, Red wasn't in the room when she arrived. Instead, she found a note lying on the bed. Intrigued, Chloe picked it up and read:
Chloe, my princess,
Today is a special day for us, and I wanted to surprise you with a little adventure. Follow the clues I prepared for you, and you will find me in a place dear to our hearts.
With all my love,
Red
Chloe smiled, touched by Red's initiative. She threw herself into this treasure hunt with enthusiasm, each word leading her to another place, important places in their history.
The first clue led her to the library, where they had spent hours studying together. Chloe found another word hidden between the pages of a chemistry book.
We shared so many moments here, learning and laughing together. The next clue is where you gave me my first kiss.
Chloe then headed to the school garden, fondly remembering the moment she had kissed Red for the first time. She found another note attached to a branch of their favorite tree: the oak tree under which Chloe had kissed her.
The memory of that kiss remains etched in my heart. Now, go to the place where we shared our first date.
Chloe followed the clues, remembering every precious moment they had shared together. Finally, she arrived at the enchanted lake, where she had taken Red for their first date. This time, it was Red who had prepared a picnic and decorated the place in a magical way.
Chloe's eyes lit up with surprise and emotion. "Red, it's beautiful!"
Red smiled at her and held out his hand to pull her closer. "I wanted to surprise you, my princess. Happy anniversary of our first month together. »
Chloe, speechless, took Red's hand and let her pull her to her to kiss her lovingly. The kiss was tender and filled with love, Chloe wrapping her arms around her angel's neck, while Red placed a hand on her cheek.
Red finally pulled back and rested his forehead against Chloe's, gently caressing her cheek from where she had not removed her hand. "Surprised, princess?"
Chloe smiled and pulled away, keeping Red's hand in hers, to look all around her. "Yes, very surprised. Thank you for preparing all this my angel."
"You deserve so much more than that, Chloe. But I have to warn you... I'm not a very good cook. I did my best but..."
"I'm sure it'll be very good, Red."
They settled down on the blanket, savoring the dishes Red had prepared. It wasn't delicious, but it wasn't horrible either. But either way, Chloe didn't care. What mattered was that Red had tried. She had cooked for her, even if she wasn't very comfortable with it. And that... was the nicest attention anyone had ever had for her. At one point, Chloe took a strawberry and brought it to Red's lips, who bit into it with delight.
"Mmh, it's delicious," Red murmured, smiling.
"You see, you didn't mess it up." Chloe teased before kissing his cheek.
"It's hard to fail when you have nothing to do other than what nature already gives you. But for the rest..."
Chloe understood where this was going and interrupted him, "Red, I assure you... it's perfect. And by the way... I have a gift for you."
Red's eyes lit up with curiosity. Chloe took out the pendant, and handed it to him. "For you, my angel."
Red's look at the gift was worth all the thanks. "Chloe, it's beautiful. Thank you." She took the pendant and put it around her neck, her heart beating with joy. Chloe helped her attach it.
Then it was Red's turn. She took out a sketchbook that she had filled with drawings representing their moments spent together. "For you, my princess. Each drawing is a precious memory of us. »
Chloe flipped through the notebook, moved to tears by the beauty of the drawings and the memories they represented. "Red, this is incredible. Thank you. I love you so much."
Red blushed and kissed her. And even though Red didn't tell her, Chloe knew she loved him. She felt it in his caresses, in his kisses, and in his hugs. She knew it in the way Red looked at her like she was the center of the world, and gave her his full attention when she spoke. She heard it in his ticking that would go wild as soon as she, she told him. She knew it in the way he cooked for her, even though she didn't know how. In the way he planned a treasure hunt for her, and a romantic picnic, for their first month together. She saw it in his drawings, and the time she had had to invest in them... just for her. No... Chloe didn't need words. She simply needed Red.
