Revelations and Kisses
Chloe, determined to understand what Red was hiding from her, went to the library. She remembered the clues that Red had dropped and began looking for books on Wonderland. After a few minutes of searching, she finally found the book in question. She sat down at a table and began to read carefully.
The Sixth Sense of Wonderland Children
It is said that some children of Wonderland have a sixth sense that allows them to feel and anticipate the emotions and needs of those they love deeply. This gift, often unknown even to those who have it, manifests itself particularly in the presence of strong feelings like love, and is often revealing of a soul mate.
Chloe felt her heart race as she read. She then understood what Red had been hiding from her all this time… She was in love with her! And this sixth sense was proof of it. By Merlin, they could well be soul mates! And… her feelings were therefore shared!
A wave of intense joy invaded Chloe. She could not contain her happiness at this revelation. Suddenly, drawn by her sixth sense, Red found herself at her side, trying to find out what made her so happy. When she saw the book Chloe was reading, and especially on which page it was open, Red began to panic. Chloe knew… And she didn’t know how she was going to react.
Red tried to run away, refusing to meet her friend's gaze, but in the campus garden, Chloe quickly caught up with her. "Red wait!"
But Red refused to stop... until...
"By Merlin, Red! Stop running and use your sixth sense!" Chloe shouted. "Did you feel any anger coming from me when you found me?"
Recognizing that Chloe was telling the truth, Red froze, and began to hope... it was her friend's intense joy that had pushed her towards her. Joy... then... could it mean that Chloe... loved her too?
When Chloe finally caught up with her, they were under a large oak tree, and Red could feel the tears on her cheeks. But Chloe tenderly wiped them away, smiling at her... before suddenly pulling her into her arms and kissing her.
The kiss was sweet and tender, filled with all the emotions they had repressed. Red couldn't believe it, but she pulled Chloe even closer to her, enjoying the kiss as if she could never have another.
She felt Chloe's smile against her lips, and even her joy thanks to her sixth sense, which mixed with her own joy. It was an indescribable feeling, as if their souls were finally joining. Their hearts beat in unison, creating a perfect harmony between them.
When they broke apart, they stood face to face, their breaths mingling. Chloe whispered to Red, a smile on her lips. "You should have told me before."
Red, her eyes shining with emotion, apologized softly. "I was so scared, Chloe. Afraid that you wouldn't feel the same way."
Chloe tenderly stroked Red's cheek. "I feel exactly the same way, Red."
Red, overcome with emotion, couldn't answer with words. She leaned down again and kissed him again, putting all her love and gratitude into that kiss. They stayed like that, savoring this moment of pure happiness and deep connection.
Hand in hand, they headed to their room. On the way, they passed Bridget and Ella. Seeing Red and Chloe holding hands, their friends immediately understood what had happened and showed wide smiles.
"Finally!" Ella exclaimed, visibly delighted. "We were wondering when you two were finally going to confess your feelings to each other."
Bridget nodded, a knowing smile on her lips. "We're so happy for you."
Red and Chloe exchanged a knowing look and smiled. "Thanks, girls," Chloe said. "We're really happy too."
As they reached their room, Chloe turned to Red and stole another kiss, now that she could do it, she intended to enjoy it. "I'll never get tired of kissing you," she whispered, her eyes sparkling with happiness.
Red smiled, her cheeks slightly pink. "That suits me perfectly."
They then shared a cuddle moment in Chloe's bed, savoring the warmth and tenderness of their embrace. They finally felt complete, ready to face the world together, hand in hand.
