Teagan waved her goodbyes to the exiting guests, smiling calmly at the array of thanks she gets from other toons.
Teagan turns around, smiling. “And then there was one,” She grins, pinching Tisha’s cheek.
Tisha chuckles, pushing Teagan’s hand down. “Stop it, you.”
Teagan laughs, grabbing the cups with Tisha’s help. The two set them down next to the Toon Rooms’ kitchen sink. “Thank you, dear. I can take stuff from here. A good host can clean up a mess.”
Tisha’s hands go behind her back, a habit she had for a while, responding firmly. “A good guest shows their appreciation by helping the host, don’t they?”
Teagan grins again, stepping to side with no more objection. Tisha steps over to Teagan’s side, looking into the bottom of the sink thoughtfully.
Tisha was an admirable combination of efficient and effective, something Teagan noted internally as the two of them worked with the running sink. The sprinkles of golden decoration on the teacups seemed to almost shine brighter on it’s white base than it did before, while the side of the sink indicating clean dishes seemed to become a, for lack of better term, convention of these glasses.
Tisha wiped her drenched hands on a nearby towel, smiling at Teagan.
“My, what a pace you have for cleaning, dear.”
Tisha shook her hands a bit, speaking with a little bit of pride. “I’d say it’s a talent.”
Tisha stepped up to be in front of Teagan. “You know, did I forget to thank you for that tea?”
”I believe so.”
“Huh.” Tisha’s box tilts a little. “Well, thanks a bunch!”
Teagan hums a chuckle, leaning down to close the small height gap between her and Tisha. “And thank you for your help.” She presses a small kiss on Tisha’s cheek, the tissue box’s face turning into a much darker shade of blue.
Tisha blinks a few times, before grinning. “Anytime.”
