SO BASICALLY Ena blew her one chance to confess to Mafuyu. Mafuyu never managed to leave her mom either.
Years later she shares and apartment with Akito. Niigo lost contact of Mafuyu all those years ago but there's nothing that can be done.
UNTIL ONE DAY there's a storm going on outside and someone knocks on the Shinonome door (Ena's very confused because who ???? would be knocking when it's POURING ??)
and it's asahina mafuyu
so mafuyu has to stay with them because she has no place to go and Akito's moving out soon. While Ena has to grapple with her feelings again
