You're not a person, or an animal, no one will accept you.
Donnie had parked the Turtles-Tank in one of the alleyways a couple blocks away from the docks.
“Won’t people find the Turtle-Tank if we leave it here?” Mikey asked Donnie.
Donnie let out a chuckle and readjusted his glasses, pulling out a small remote control from his pocket “Watch this” he pressed a button and the Turtle-Tank disappeared “Ta-da! I installed a cloaking device onto the Turtle-Tank’s exterior! Now we can leave it wherever we want, all we have to do is press a button and cover up the ally!” Donnie pressed another button and the top of the Turtle-Tank opened up and a wooden wall that looked hand-made popped out, getting carefully placed in front of the cloaked vehicle by two very skinny robotic arms.
“That’s so cool!” Mikey beamed.
“Yeah you out did yourself this time, D’ “ Raph praised, clapping Donnie on the shoulder making him grin. It was rare to see Donnie smile now, so they made the most of it whenever he did
“C’mon! We gotta go!” Mikey said while rushing by, “We still have a couple hours?” Raph asked, Donnie shook his head “I gotta agree with Mike, I’d rather sneak in early then raise suspicion!” he countered and rushed after Mickey, Raph hot on his heels.

What was the point anymore, he was out here, because his Sensei wanted him to be.
Leonardo can’t go home, he can’t disappoint his Sensei again, Leonardo’s fingers brushed over a faded scar on his cheek, he can’t disappoint his Sensei again. He can’t, he can’t and he won’t.
Leo stared at the sunset. How could he even think about going back to New York when he had everything an animal like him had to survive right here, Lars had helped him overcome so much, Lars had helped him see that he’s an animal, he’s not meant to live in the sewers but in his natural environment.
And Leo still longed for the day he could see his brothers again.
Lars stirred in Leo’s lap, he stretched and sniffed the air before cringing.
“What?” Leo sniffed the air around them, something did smell weird but he’d brushed it off a while ago, Lars looked at him and squinted. Yeah he should probably shower.
Lars jumped off of him and they walked over to the nearby river, the current was calm, perfect for a soak.
Leo removed his pants, his elbow and knee pads and he unwrapped the bandages he kept around his feet and hands and unstrapped his katana. Being a turtle there really wasn’t any reason to be wearing anything at all since his shell covered everything, eventually Leo realised that there really wasn’t any reason to feel embarrassed when undressed, it’s not like anyone could see anything.
Leo loved the feeling of the old water the most, it was something he never had access to in New York so he cherished it as much as he physically could.
He washed his limbs, taking his time. The sun had set at this point, leaving Leo to bathe in the moonlight, it was an ethereal feeling, being something of his size just minding his business in the depth of night. Leo loved it.
Twigs snapped in the distance, bushes and shrubs shook. Someone else was here.
Leo looked over at Lars, he was fine, good. So Leo dived down into the river, thinking that if he could convince his stalkers that he’s an oversized regular turtle then they’ll leave.
Sadly, they didn’t.
Leo felt a prick in his leg, he looked down to check only to see a dart, a fucking tranquilizer dart. How amazing.
His limbs felt heavy and his brain was floating, they must’ve underestimated his size, the dart was too small and the dosage was too weak. Doing his best to at least lead them away from Lars, he couldn’t let Lars get hurt by a poacher.
Leo reached over to the river bank and grabbed his unsheathed katana, Leo got up into a defensive position, his vision had become blurred but that won’t stop him, nothing could stop him from protecting his peace, his home.
He felt another dart plunge itself into his arm, everything on his arm from the shoulder down went numb and he unintentionally dropped his katana. They must’ve upped the dosage.
Looking around, Leo managed to triangulate where the shot had come from, he threw his remaining katana like a boomerang towards his aggressor, Leo heard the familiar yelp of pain as the blade connected with flesh. Leo let out a sigh of relief, he turned back to check on Lars once more, a sloppy grin plastered on his face.
Leo’s gaze fell on a nonchalant Lars and a pair of black boots.
Following the boots, Leo eventually made out the features of a man, a man wearing full black.
Holding a tranquilizer gun.
A loud bang ran through Leonarso’s ears and his world faded to black.

The three made it to a rooftop overseeing the docks, they spoke about their plan of action, all of them hovering around a 3D projected model of the docks Donnie had recovered on his wrist pad.
“Now the real question is which boat to take” Donnie gestured to the three boats in the distance. “The smallest one is going straight to Brazil, it will be a two week long journey with no break so it won’t be ideal but it’s the quickest way.” he explained.
“We’ll take the quickest one, no matter how long it is, if it’s the quickest way then that’s how we’ll go.” Raph said with determination, no one had a problem with it.
They moved from the rooftop to hide behind some of the cargo, slowly getting closer to the ship, they only stopped when voices could be heard.
Two bare bellied New Yorkian dockworkers walked alongside each other, evidently gossiping.
“Yeah! It’s insane, this weird lawyer guy came up to our boss and was like ‘Ma boss owns this company now, so these boats will be leavin’ in four months instead’a four days.’ Like wha kinda bullshit is tha’?” said dock worker 1 “So now we got two boats just takin up space in our dock!”
“That’s bullshit! If he aren’t gonna use’em then why keep’em here? They’ll just be collectin’ dust.” Dock worker 2 replied.
They both walked past the turtles and eventually out of earshot.
Mikey turned to his older brothers, a large grin slapped on his face. “Aren’t we glad that guy didn’t buy our ride to Brazil.” he said with a chuckle.
Their 'ride' exploded.
