Prologue
The young boy tried to hide into the dark crack in wall of alleyway and the building trying to become invisible. Holding his breath to the best of his ability and trying not to shiver in terror as not to attract his pursuer. Words at flowing through his mind of "I hope he doesn't find me and and cause me more hurt. I didn't mean to - it was an accident. He won't think that it was an accident when he finds me." Hearing the thudding footsteps coming closer toward where he had crammed himself in, he began to desperately wish that he could get somewhere safe, far away from his uncle who was going to hurt him.
Unaware of his own enormous magical power, that power heard his plea and answered. Dark and bright green streaks of green covered the severely injured and bleeding boy though he was in the midst of a meteor shower and with a bright flash of light, Harry Potter vanished never to be seen in Surrey, England ever again....well, at least not for 8 years anyway. Where this boy had gone was where no wizard would ever dare tread: Gotham City, home of the Dark Knight: Batman.
Oh, woe to the poor delusional fool ever messes with the Batman. After all, we have lots of witnesses. Just ask the Joker, ask him, though he might have trouble answering(being catatonic with a crushed voice box will do that), what Batman did to him for what he did to Batman's 2nd Robin. Ask TwoFace what Batman did to him when he caused all that harm to Batman's first Robin. Ask Killer Croc what happened to him when Timothy Drake went missing because of him. Ask every villain that has ever faced Batman what he will do if you harm one of Batman's own. Short answer, you will wish he had killed you instead of letting you live with the painful memories. Don't go out of your way to make the Batman angry with you...you will barely live to regret it....that is, if the rest of the Batfam don't get to you first afterwards! So beware future enemies of Harry James Potter – Wayne, you might not necessarily have meant to cause harm or hurt or danger to him, however that will not absolve you of your actions to the Batman, he just won't care...at all.
Oh and did I mention, that the Batman has no jurisdiction, you can run and you can attempt to hide from him but don't worry, he'll come and drag you back the face justice or his own twisted version of it.
He may have a rule of no killing but just short of that, anything goes with him (so beating a criminal nearly to death is totally fine).
Now from what little information I've uncovered from secret sources about the Bat family is that: Red Hood has killed before and can be rather unpredictable and psychotic when someone has or tried or was thinking of trying to harm one of the Bat family...apparently stuff like that didn't go so well on the end of the perpetrator. Another fact is Nightwing, who mainly stays in Bludhaven, but he does at times venture back into Gotham and while he is not the most serious of the family does not mean that he is in any way less protective of the family and its members. Actually the members say he is a mother hen when it comes to the family and it seems that he never forgets about who has caused harm to the members. One should ask Griffin Horn the primary reason why it's absolutely necessary for him to go to the emergency room before returning to prison after an encounter with Nightwing after every release from prison (full body cast, anyone?). Red Robin is the vindictive, manipulative, very sleep-deprived but caffeine-fueled vengeful detective, you're not going to walk away from crossing him without loss of sanity, money and other such repercussions that no one will talk about. Black-Bat...no, just no. Criminals don't dare cross her for any reason at all - it could be the best job in ever and the answer would still be no. The word brutality takes on a whole new meaning and definition when she is around. Spoiler.... hell no. If you are getting beat up in the alleyway by her you deserve it and while others might feel "a great swell of pity for you" the actual likelyhood of anyone helping you is nil. Batgirl...yeah, life just sucks for you...at both ends.
Something else to note is that nearly 95 to about 98 percent of the time, they're always working together to some degree - very rarely do anyone of them ever visibly work alone.
Beware treading in Gotham with bad intentions and actions where in the darkness the terrifying Bats dwell.
Anyone stupid enough to mess with one or more of the Bat family and Batman deserves whatever happens to them and they have no one to blame but themselves.
