Dante is getting better at this leading thing, they think, they hope.
It doesn't help the burning agony that they take on themselves, or the mixture of memories—nothing of their own, but everything that the others have wiped from them for 'excessive trauma'—or that no one except for the Sinners—who they do care about, they really do—can even hear them speak.
Sometimes they wonder what the insides of their head look like—if it's like the way that they feel, gears worn down and clashing against each other in a confused mess.
