At first, it is something he beats Lorgar for-the assumption that he has any right to call a holy man 'father' and for impugning that he is anything else than his student(for the feelings it stirs in him). When he calls him first to his face "my son", it is an ecstasy that he almost puts beyond the Holy Word(and to hear Lorgar call him 'master' in response).
But there is nothing better than the first time(still long before when the abomination that calls itself his Lorgar's true father arrives on their planet) he addresses his followers and says of Lorgar, with full authority, with possession, "My son".
